She sighed. It seemed so unfair for her to be so far from the place she was meant to be, locked in her own cage. At least Dive could paint a picture for her. In her mind, she could almost imagine herself in those far off places. "You have a way with words," she said softly.

He reached out, stretching his neck along the ground to touch her gently on the cheek with the tip of her nose. He smiled before saying, "As do you."
"The beach and the desert would both welcome you onto their sands," he said quietly. He could see her so clearly in his mind, reveling in the open sand.

"The perhaps one day I shall pay them both a visit," she said, but her tone was wistful and it was clear she doubted she would ever get so far. The doe turned her face into his touch, seeking further contact.

He turned onto his side, bending his legs as much as he could to brush his cheek against hers. He sighed softly, fond, "I'll take you if you want."
And he would because he could see it so clearly even though she couldn't, even though she didn't believe that she would ever make it to the sands.
