"Oh, good," She chirped, seeing the familiar knight coming to her rescue. She ran to him and threw her arms around him in a quick hug before, not even releasing her grip on his shoulders, spun around and somehow ended up behind him peeking over his torso.

"It's Zirconia in this form, by the way," She reminded in his ear before turning her yellow eyes on the general, trying not to look too excited.

She lifted her injured leg off the ground with a soft hiss and stood on the toes of the other one to get a better look at the general as he made his demands and deciding she liked her position planted behind Valhalla just fine.

"If it helps, I'm not Ares' biggest fan either," She laughed in a tone that showed she knew pretty well it wasn't going to help. And then ducked right back down to just peering at him from behind Valhalla.

”Z-” he began when she jumped on him and decided he was a good shield, only to shut his mouth in surprise and glance over his shoulder at her. Yeah, the cat ears and tail made it obviously not his best friend, but… this also wasn’t the bitchy cat he knew sometimes took control of her body.

But while he was curious and very confused, he was more concerned with not getting the s**t beat out of them by a very angry General.

Valhalla let Zia hang onto him as he eyed the weapon Wolframite had in his hands, and the way he was wielding it. While he had seen the young man’s weapon before, he hadn’t seen much of how deadly it could very well be.

“Wolframite,” he let out a shaky breath, his hands held up, but still grasping onto his compass. “Wait! Wait, please,” he practically begged, not about to give Zia up, but also not wanting to get into a fight with Wolframite. His face was still white, especially as he eyed the bladed weapon, and tried taking a small step back with Zia behind him. “What happened? We can talk this out, okay?”

The pleading and lack of cockiness was a good start, and Wolframite felt no threat here - yet. Valhalla however was not someone he wanted to mess with only because he felt that, in his own mind, he was on his side. A bit confused as some knights were without having a leader to guide them, but not a senshi. Regardless of his signature, he was still similar to a Negaverser for his goals and beliefs. Earth needed protecting, and they were the children of Earth here to protect it. It would be like hurting a brother in arms, but he also knew that Valhalla needed to mind his own damn place, and that this fight was not his. A line was crossed.

"Talk? TALK?!" He snarled, glaring daggers at Valhalla and the idiotic idea he proposed. "Do you really want in on this conversation as much as you want in on this fight? Then let's continue our conversation, you little b***h!" He snapped his eyes back to the cat cowering behind the knight.

"You were damn ******** cocky before. Come prod at Operation Rota some more. Let's talk about people I fought alongside were ambushed. Tell me how much we enjoyed being strapped to chairs, cut alive, and kept awake at each minute with the screams of agony from people trying to keep this planet safe. Tell me, really - I want to TALK about it - about how I was set on fire while chained to a damn chair that I was never let to stand up from! Let us talk about the people I watched cut chunk by CHUNK like animals as they sang their last ******** song before they drowned on their own blood! Let's talk about thirst....about starvation...about the hell that happened by senshi who like to tell everyone how pure and great they really are in comparison to the Negaverse and how they plea ignorance to avoid responsibility in order to appear clean!!!" He was panting, the anger flooding his system as he rekindled the memories of that night, his hands shaking at the aftermath that had left Tanzanite a husk of a woman and lead Uranophane to stay in her home. The few survivors that didn't see the light of day. He was the only one left..........alone to relive that night over and over in his head.

His tone changed, a struggle for control as it dropped from yelling to a mustered even tone through gritted teeth. "We can't talk about it because you don't know a single ******** thing you're saying, and you had the balls to come to me and start saying s**t you don't even know."

He whipped his weapon, and snapped his attention to Valhalla. "You're a idiot for running into a battle that someone else started and taking her side. To protect them. Now move." He said, and this time was the last time he'd ask.

"Oh calm down," She said from behind her meat shield/rescuer with lidded eyes while Wolframite relieved his trauma.

"War is ugly business, but that's the price you pay for plugging into the Chaos generator. What happened to you is unfortunate, but..."

She rolled her shoulders in a shrug. "I don't think Rota really should've been executed in this environment but it was still legitimate considering this universe's crimes and the war you people started. But hey hey, at least Ares is gone now?" She babbled with her nose pressed against Valhalla's shoulder and trying to ignore the gushing gash in her leg. She still avoided looking at it, though she had fully pulled it up to avoid putting weight on it and let out a small, repressed whimper in spite of all the big talk. She was hurt, it hurt, and she needed to get the hell out of here.

In the corner of her eye she could see a reflective surface in the shadows. Likely a Dark Mirror senshi's designated ride home, but right now she was thinking how she was going to casually close the distance and mirrorwalk elsewhere.

Hey, maybe things would calm down if she wasn't there running her mouth. At the very least, he seemed to be familiar with Valhalla so maybe he wouldn't get fileted?

While he realized it was probably hopeless to try and calm Wolframite down, there was still a chance to distract him enough to keep him from killing Zia. If she had enough time to escape, he could handle the General… he hoped.

Valhalla flinched as Wolframite delved into the gory details of just what had happened during Operation Rota — something that he knew had involved Zirconia and Ares, and many others — but he’d only ever been told bits and pieces about what it was, exactly. Much less the details of torture. His heart ached for all those involved, for those with blood on their hands, for those who had to go through unspeakable things, for those who knew those involved and had been affected by everything.

It had been one of the darker moments in the history of the war, and while he hadn’t known about it and hadn’t been involved, or even awakened, at that point, he wished there was a way to help everyone learn from and move on from a point that was obviously haunting them.

“Can you get out of here?” he hissed over his shoulder to Zia, knowing she was injured and while he wanted to make sure she was going to be okay, he also knew it might be best if he focused on Wolframite while she escaped.

The General was serious about wanting to harm her, but Valhalla wasn’t going to allow that if he could help it. “I’m sorry,” he said as he caught Wolframite’s eye, and held his weapon out in front of him.

“Go!” he told Zia as a beam of green light shot from the compass towards Wolframite. If he wanted the magic to work, he needed to stay and focus, rather than escaping with her. “Text me later? I’ll meet up with you if you want,” he said over his shoulder, obviously wanting to make sure she’d be okay, but knowing she might want her space.

(Magic — No longer does his magic just cause a reversal in movement, but contact with his magic causes vertigo, in which his opponent temporarily loses their internal sense of direction, as well. There is no up or down, no left or right. The effect would cause one to feel as though everything around them was spinning, even if they stood stationary. Or even the sensation of falling, despite being on solid ground. Imagine sticking your head at the end of a baseball bat and spinning around several times, and then having to run across a field. Now, even if someone is able to figure out how to best the reversal magic, they would still be under the effect of the sensation of vertigo.
After being released from the attack, an opponent may still feel dizzy, or even nauseous, but the reaction and effect is pretty open to player interpretation. )

The sorry was one he thought only applied to what had happened, and he was about to say that sorry wasn't going to fix anything, but then, at the last minute when the compass glowed, he knew what it meant. Before he could jump away, he was hit with the beam, and the world instantly was throw on a tilt, as if a carpet of gravity was yanked form under him with no way to gain balance. He stumbled back, and reached with one hand to catch himself, but didn't fall. He tried to stay still, but even then he leaned and saw the pair spinning and turning around as if he was on a ship navigating a storm. His stomach turned, and he could feel his lunch churn with it, making his small the taste of acid against the back of his throat.

"You -" He clamped his mouth shut to keep himself from lurching, and while his world spun, he whipped his weapon and threw it, the impact hitting slightly to their right and breaking the brick and mortar to the wall, sending fragments around.

Wolframite knew he missed, but now held the chain as a way to keep himself from falling back. Everything made him feel sick, and he just wanted it to stop, and while he was furious, nausea was taking the spot for first place emotion.

He yanked his weapon to get it free, to see if he could throw it again and hit, to stop both of them, but only managed to send the weapon not at him, but flinging beside him and the end skidding against the ground before it hit a pair of trash cans.

She barely spared a glance to the general after she saw Valhalla raise his gyrocompass.

She had already reasoned in her head Val could take care of himself, and the faster she got the hell out of dodge, the more magic he had in his pool to use to save his own a**. Either way, Wolfy would definitely kill them both of she stayed, and she was probably going to bleed out even if talking was an option.

She shifted to a cat and moved as fast as she could on three legs, diving through the reflective surface hidden in the alleyway. She left the knight and the negaverse officer to their own devices, and drying blood on asphalt as evidence of her presence.
