When she continued to walk and still found nothing, Freunde let out a battle cry in frustration. Surely someone would hear it and come to her call? Even that Charizard returning would be better than this! She knew he must be a high level, and even losing would have made her happy at this point.

Cheri Berry
Something fell from the ceiling after her roar echoed away, and Freunde moved to inspect it. Ah...a Cheri Berry, possibly tucked away up there by some Zubat for a snack for later. She put it in her bag, even though she still grumbled about having no one to fight. Finding items was always nice, but she was here today for the experience, and so far she was falling far short of what she had hoped for.

When no one came to her call, Freunde threw up her paws and began to make her way to the entrance of the cave. Perhaps the Pokemon here were too low-level for her to take on, and the Charizard had warned them all to stay away. Still, she had found some nice things while poking around. The Vials of Water were especially nice to have discovered, and she patted her little pouch to make sure they were all safe and sound.

Vial of Water
No sooner had she reached down to make sure the Vials were still there, than she saw a third partly buried in some dirt. After brushing it off she found it to be full and, with a shake of her head at how careless some other explorers could be, she tucked it away with the other two, the Cheri Berry, and the rock.

Numel
As Freunde approached the exit, she spotted the Numel from before. It seemed to have fallen asleep not too far from where she had attacked it earlier. With a roll of her eye she crept up on it this time, poison spikes raised to give it a little jolt. It hadn't heeded the warning of the Charizard, obviously, and for that it would pay.

Freunde used Poison Sting to send the Numel scurrying away once again, and she snorted after it took off. Some Pokemon needed to learn the hard way that it was a good idea to listen to those with more experience. She licked her lips and headed for the exit, keeping her eyes open for any last minute battles or treasures.

Freunde was surprised when something came at her from behind, and she turned in time to see the Numel charging her. With a laugh she turned to meet it head on, narrowing her eyes and getting ready for a Double Kick. It seemed the silly Pokemon wanted a parting gift.

It seemed the Numel had other ideas, though, and quickly veered away from Freunde as it launched a fiery breath at her. She ducked quickly and, fearing for her bows more than her own health, she decided to leave before the Pokemon could return. Darn fire types...always ruining her fun.
