"Wooooow only a few weeks ago! That IS a baby!" The teen cooed at the idea of a baby idea just barely approved, imagining it in fluffy shades of pale pink and blue. Which was totally silly because, well, it was a plan not a real baby or a kitten or puppy... But Abbi was a silly kind of girl.
She was silly enough to wait for Molly to finish daydreaming and come back to the fight before she continued on. It was only kind, after all, to wait for her to finish up her thoughts. Abbi had had plenty of times where something similar had happened to her!
But they were in the middle of a spar and Viveca had a cool idea.

Careful to keep up the spinning, and trying to increase its rotations, Abbi took the hit with a tiny noise before she swung her scythe at Molly for added strength thanks to the spinning. The blade clanked against the girl's shield and tried another spin-hit combo.
"Two years wooow that's such a long time! You like it here and all? Dating anyone?" One more hit was tried before she hopped backwards.
"Oh uh..." The girl quickly shoved the staff portion of her scythe to one shoulder so that she could count on her fingers. "About four months!" Well, almost that. At the end of December it would be four months...

Since she was a fairly observant girl, Abbi caught the flush of Molly's cheeks and smiled. Unfortunately, Abbi was also a bit... Dense and had not quite yet caught on that blushing did not necessarily equate to a specific reason other than being asked about it. To her, this naturally, totally, definitely, for sure meant that Molly had someone she wanted to date. Still grinning, the teen shifted from foot to foot like a wiggling, excited puppy as she gave Molly her best 'tell me all your secrets' gaze.
"Ooooohhhhh? Not dating anyone... Yetttt?" A giggle began and the teen kept Viveca shouldered to press a hand to her cheek so that she could squeal over the cuteness of Precious Molly dating someone equally adorable.
"Is there someone you want to date? What's your type? I told you mine!" Sort of... Super Otome Catch really only made sense to those who knew what an otome was and, as previously established, Molly was unaware.

Speaking of being unaware, Abbi had totally missed the fact that Molly was charging up for an attack. The teen herself had never used such an attack so the fact that Molly's weapon began to whir and spin was kind of frightening. Unfortunately, Abbi also didn't realize that moving was probably the best way to dodge the scary attack but well... She wasn't being very bright in that moment.
With a squeak she jumped to see Molly lunge forward and by the time she decided moving was the thing to do, the lance (which was more like a drill bit lesbihonest) was driving into her stomach. Thankfully for her, the shield held but she could feel it growing weaker the longer she just... Stood around taking the attack. Even though she had brought up her weapon to fend off the attack, it was a useless thing and the staff was easy to dodge.

Finally the weapon stopped whirring and spinning and Abbi fell back onto her backside, her weapon clattering against the ground and her knees.
"UNCLE!" Abbi wailed, waving a hand in the air as she pressed her free one to her stomach. "I'm waving a white flag! Hold your fire! I yield!" Anything to say Molly had won. Darn...

Watching a weapon get desummoned was always a special experience, especially the first time when it meant getting to see what form the weapon took when not itself. Abbi grinned as Molly turned redder, her eyes flitting from the gold on her wrist up to the red in her face, and leaned back so she could stick both hands behind her on the ground to turn her smile up to the girl.
"Yanno... You seem the shy type, but even the shy types don't blush that much if there's no one they have in mind." The girl smiled all the brighter at her red haired and now red faced friend, one hand popping off the ground to wave through the air.
"Aww, don't say things like that! That's my line! Besides, if I was a boy I would totally date you." Forefinger and thumb came together in an attempt at a circle as Abbi actually found it within herself to wink at Molly. "You're super cute and any dude would be crazy lucky to have someone as sweet as you. And you pack a mean punch, so you're like.. Perfect!"

The hand offered is not immediately taken as first Viveca must be desummoned, the scythe turning into a crystal ring that fits snugly onto one of the teen's fingers. Once that is done she slaps her hand into the one outstretched from Molly, hoisting herself up with a great deal of noise and grunting.
"So do you cook too? I bet you do, you look like the baking type." That was the best Molly was going to get out of Abbi regarding whether she was alright or not. It was a mostly yes, just a stung pride sort of wound.

Now on her feet, Abbi wobbled for a second before she dusted herself off in a show of something to do. Standing around talking to Molly was fun, but she was ignoring the girl's compliment and Abbi could not particularly blame her. It was always a little odd to hear someone say they would date you (not that the girl was familiar with that phenomenon), so she merely let it go. Molly was turning as red as her hair and while it was cute, this was the early stages of friendship. They hadn't reached the heart event where Abbi could push for more details!
"That's cool!"
Ok what was she supposed to say now? Uuuuuhhh.... They had fought and Abbi had lost (quickly) and they couldn't talk about boys... Unless... Unless they really could just not about Molly's boys....

Looking more mischievous than she meant, Abbi tried to walk closer to Molly in her most casual manner but instead looked like she was very much up to something. After a few eye flutters to make sure the other girl wasn't going to say anything else, Abbi twirled a finger into one pigtail and gave Molly some big lilac eyes.
"So do you have any flirting tips? Since you're not dating anyone but you obviously want to because you blushed a whole, whole bunch?" Flawless logic.

There wasn't even time to really say much of anything but a strained, if still somewhat peppy, "Goodbye!" before Molly skittered off. It was cute to watch her go, since nobody was ever nervous because of Abbi so she only viewed the whole thing as Molly having someone she liked an awful lot and still uncertain of his feelings, so talking about it made her all sorts of wibbley wobbly on the inside.
The teen sighed, a hand going to her cheek. How wonderful it was to have someone you liked!
"I dunno what a cannon cat is... But I bet all of them are gonna be treated like princes!" Since Molly was so sweet and all.

Abbi wiggled her hands around and did a few bunny hops before she twirled on her toe and headed back to my room.
"Good spar, she says! It was fun, she says! HA!" But she was smiling as she made her way back to her room, ignoring all of Viveca's grumbling about bad spars and boys that one liked and how she'd been dropped again.
