Opening her eyes with a flash ice formed in shards around her raised hands. With a flick of her hand the ice soared swiftly towards their weak opponent still in the air.

He wasn't particularly violent by nature but self defense was something he didn't hesitate on. It seemed that his companions had had equally little trouble mentally or physically about dispatching their foes. "Well that was unpleasant, if mercifully brief," he muttered.

Kioda circled the ground with a lazy shift of her wings. Her eyes switched between Maslin and Erionda. She would need to make sure to keep a better eye on those two. They were more powerful than she had originally given them credit for, and seemed fearless to defend themselves. Rumbling she turned to look at Lazuli. "Where too now? Do you think we will find anymore unwelcome creatures to fight."

Sighing Erionda ran a hand over her opposite arm. "They stood no chance against us. A shame. I was actually hoping for a half decent fight in here. The way people carried on it was as if this place could kill you. People either over exaggerate the dangers in here or we are just far to strong." Shrugging the female hybrid glanced around their current location. She had no idea where they were supposed to be going next, and didn't seem opposed to wandering around in hopes of finding more creatures she could attempt to match herself up against.

Maslin felt it was more likely that they simply hadn't run into as difficult of a fight as they could have. While the group was undoubtedly strong he didn't think any of them were near being undefeatable warriors, after all everyone had a weakness or a tactic they could not anticipate and would fall to. Still, he was pleased they'd escaped unscathed for the most part. Quote: After winning the fight: As you walk towards the face you saw, the mists swirl about you and a strange scent fills your nose. Walking around the huge shattered stone head, you can see that it is attached to a huge stone body. This must be the fallen statue! All about you is silence; in fact, it seems much more silent than it had been a few moments earlier. A chill runs up your spine, something is watching you... Suddenly and strangely the moon seems to glow a brighter red and the mists part briefly, revealing moss covered ruins before a cloud crosses the moon and the mists close up once again. As you walk towards the ruins your foot hits a patch of slime. The strange disgusting scent suddenly increases as your foot slides in the pale orange slime. Go to Glade The mist seemed to fade a bit and Lazuli spotted what looked like the head of a statue in the distance. He had been too focused before to notice it but now the drakein was eager to get to the landmark. " This way Kioda" he insisted before bounding off through the swamp, paying little mind to the concern and irritation coming off his bonded. They would be fine, although it was starting to smell bad again!

((Sorry hun, just speeding it up because Rio is really beyond this point now.)) Glade The ruins loom out of the mists and as you pause beneath a shattered arch, you can see a pond illuminated by the Blood Moon at the center of the ruins. The reddish gold tint of the moon causes the water to look bloody. All about are patches of that stinking pale slime. Along the edge of the pond you spot the flower that you came here for. Black petals and emitting a dim purple glow, quite visible in the reddish gold light of the moon. Before you start forward, you suddenly hear a gushing sound. Something large and damp approaches. From your left, a huge pale orange-yellow monster steps into the glade, the mists swirling about it. You can see slime oozing out from between it's armored skin and it's single red eye glares about angrily. You've heard rumors of these beasts. The Babosa: hunger incarnate, and dangerous. You thought that they had all been hunted down years ago... Should you fight it? Or try and sneak about and grab the flower that way? Babosa's have a LUK of 40. If your group cannot beat that, then you must sneak! Go to Sneak! Go to Fight! or you may flee, Go to Flee. Erionda gagged on the scent that filled her nose. She didn't do well with the strong offending smells around her. It appeared neither did her bonded companions. Struggling forward, Erionda found it increasingly harder to walk with the strange slimy orange substance under her feet. "Whoever thought this was a scary trip was incorrect. This place tests my patience more than my fear." Erionda muttered to Maslin as the group pressed forward.

Kioda watched the group proceed ahead of her. She wanted to mock the way the female hybrid could hardly keep her balance. Served her right for always being so cocky! Kioda herself would take a different path while keeping up with the group. Extending her wings she took to the air, spraying the orange substance about the group. She hovered over everyone her eyes scanned the ground below in case of more intrusions. Glaring down at the orange creature below. Was that what was causing the slime to fill the entirety of their current place.
Growling her intent Kioda dove for the creature. Feinting her attack before pulling back. It smelled wretched, burned her nose stung her eyes.

Maslin has mumbled in agreement with Rio while taking careful steps. On one hand his weight buoyed him in the swamp making slipping less of a danger. On the other hand his feet and parts of his legs were soaked and no amount of Peisio magic was going to help at this point. When a rather disgusting looking monster appeared the young man groaned, this place had been testing his patience from the start, it was not getting better. If whatever the hell it was exploded on them in a shower of slime at any point during this fight Maslin swore he was going to find a way to turn into a damned dragon and fly away despite his relatively miniscule skill and battle experience.
For the time being Maslin opted to lob a fist sized ball of light at the creature's head hoping to blind ,distract or intimidate it.
Lazuli for his part roared fiercely, immediately regretting it as he started to truly taste the foul air. Still the drakein charged forward, well as best as he could given the unstable footing.

Erionda's Stats Character: Erionda STAGE: Expert LVL: 101 EXP: 55/101 LUK: 84 LUCK EXP: -- Creature: Babosa Drakein with her: Lanzecki Uassae Success rate 6-100 Success 2(101(50/101)/3) = 34 exp 34+55=89/101 No luck Items are written in success Fight For this fight ignore the special battle rule for Babosa, that is only for Hunts. Otherwise, treat this as a regular hunt. Civilians do not count towards EXP, though they can certain rp helping in the fight. They receive the reward for beating the creature if you win. Babosa Babosa (baa-bow-sa)Description: A Babosa is a strange mix between slug and centipede. About the height of 2 adult Magescians and 4 times as long, this monstrosity is covered in a flexible exoskeleton. Bright orange and yellow are its typical colors, the larger they are, the darker their coloration. It has a single eye in the middle of its head and sharp and thick horns as well. The Babosa can move surprisingly fast for its huge size, though only over short distances. Always hungry, the Babosa will eat anything moving, and sometimes non moving things too. These dangerous and mean creatures were considered a threat, so Aevah Avi placed a huge bounty upon each one that was brought in. Over the years, the numbers have dwindled and now they are a rare thing to see in Serenia. Location: Deep in the untamed areas of Serenia. Size: large (I wanna face a huge slug so large is what its gonna be!! XD) Battle: Since they are rare, to be able to find one you must roll 1d100 and get a 85-100 to find it. If you find it, you may then roll to see if you win. If you can't find it, please choose another Serenia creature to fight instead! For the Halloween event, the odds are 50-100 instead! Level 50 LUK >40 Drops x1 Babosa Slime If you win:The Babosa dies with many gasps and slime oozing all over the place. As one of you dodge out of the way of it's fall, your foot hits something and you fall onto your back. You've tripped over a small chest! Make sure to grab the black flower on your way out! Erionda glanced sideways at Maslin, then towards Kioda. So it was testing his patience too? She wasn't really surprised, what did surprise her was the amount of enjoyment all the Drakein seemed to be getting out of the entire event. At least, that's what it looked like to her. Folding her arms across her chest Erionda raised an eyebrow as she watched the attacks from her companions. It was probably best to just sit this one out. What little she knew of the elusive and foul creature before them was she could defeat it with great ease. An Aeduan put up more of a fight and even that creature was easily toppled now. Turning and opening her mouth to say something to Uassae Erionda was shocked when the two companions burst forward eager to dig their claws into the orange substance. Erionda gagged. The very thought made her want to just freeze the creature and be done with it. Smell and all. As Uassae's claws tore into the flesh Erionda couldn't resist the urge to vomit as the smell only grew worse. "Forget it, I'm freezing it and that will finish it off." Groaning Erionda formed a spike of magic and hurtled it towards the creature. Satisfied when it died to the many attacks it sustained from everyone around her.

Snorting Kioda tried to stop breathing long enough to dive back at the creature again. Her claws tearing at the foul ooze. Glad that two other bonded had joined in to fight. Why wasn't the strange hybrid doing anything? Was she really making her slaves to all the work? Huffing Kioda continued her assault. Stopping when the creature froze in place. "Well that does help a might with the smell." Kioda rumbled. Shaking her claws in order to remove the slime attached to them. Her eyes settling on a strange chest after wandering the room. "I hope that contains something valuable inside." She voiced lifting her head high and prancing towards the wooden box. She wouldn't be able to open it with he paws, Kioda knew that. But there were two-leggers here and one of them should be more than capable of opening the chest for her and share the contents. They couldn't possibly be that greedy to not share, could they?

Moving away from the corpse and closer to the female Drakein whom Lazuli was familiar with Maslin kept a tight grip on his staff. With the way things were working out tonight it would surprise them if the container in question opened only to reveal more creatures waiting to attack them. Warily he bent down to pry it open with one hand, ready to use magic if he needed to and aware that Lazuli was close enough to jump on anything that popped out and needed to be wrestled to the ground. To the redhead's relief the chest opened to reveal and small hoard of souls, potions and some shiny objects he wasn't entirely certain about.

Satisfied at the oozing creatures death Erionda watched Kioda move about with interest. Narrowing her eyes on the wooden box before the feral female. Pressing her index finger under her nose to help deal with the horrifying stench Erionda walked forward to peak at the contents Maslin had found inside the chest. A smile lit up her face.
"Well what do you know!" Reaching into the chest Erionda pulled out a potion and inspected it closely. "Energizing potion. And this!" Erionda reached in again to pull out a crimson taming jewel. "Uassae what is this? There's three in here so one for each of the groups but I've never seen it before."
The older bonded strode forward and sniffed the object before taking a step back. "I've seen people in Taliuma with these. From what I understand they help you tame more Hastar?" Turning to Kioda Erionda extended an orb out in each hand. "I'll even trade you these two orbs for the trinket."
Erionda beamed quickly stashing away her share of the items. "In that case I'm all for these."
Don't forget the flower
Lanzecki's mental reminder had Erionda searching the ground for the mysterious black flower. The idea of adding an elusive plant to her collection was something she couldn't resist.
Settling her eyes on the small patch of black flowers Erionda carefully exhumed what she though was the prettiest one. Placing it in her bag she turned back to maslin with a grin. "It was great to see you again. I'm sorry it wasn't under more welcoming circumstances. You're welcome to visit me in Aisko whenever the need arises."
Giving a slight wave of her hand Erionda turned and bounded slowly towards the exit.

Kioda's teal eyes hid a strange fire behind them as Erionda produced her share of the orbs in exchange for the strange trinket she hadn't seen before. "Of course! Nothing wrong with a good trade." Quickly shifting the orbs about and pressing the unknown item into Erionda's hands. She felt sick trading with a magescian who bonded with her kind but if it meant getting stronger to prove herself she would do it in a heartbeat
Waiting patiently for Erionda to gather up her flower, Kioda unceremoniously ripped her's from the ground. Prancing towards Lazuli to give him a nuzzle she strode away from the two groups. She had no interest in lingering more than she had too with Magescians who bonded with her kind. Unlike Grrel she was more tollerant but Lazuli had taken her by surprise. She had been sooo sure he was just a feral. Erionda on the other hand had proved quite useful on many occasions when it came to orbs.

Maslin had nodded at Erionda's words, Aisko was colder than he personally liked but Erionda was the decent sort and sometimes even he needed company.
After she and her posse had left he waited for Kioda to gather her things before collecting what remained of the spoils. It was a nice little haul and unexpected as well. The item to help him tame creatures was useless to Maslin but was probably worth something on the market. If he could trade some of this stuff for some more materials he would be golden.
Laz can yo-
I already have it
Lazuli had gone over to the small patch of flowers and begun to dig up one up as soon as Kioda had left. Carefully he clutched the prize in his mouth. For him this flower was the most valuable thing they had gotten, it proved they were not afraid or weak and that they could conquer any challenge.
Content to varying degrees, the pair began to swiftly make their way back from where they had come. Both were eager to return home although for different reasons.
