This hadn`t gone perfectly but since Agave didn`t take off running screaming in terror when she had first told him she was confident things would work out. This would be like all the other hurdles they had overcome together in the months that they had been together. And truth be told, she was a bit frightened. This was brand new territory for her. She could handle other mutants, those who hated mutants, those who openly accepted her and just about every other Soquili out there but this was completely new. Still Agave`s seemed to be accepting of things now, though she knew it would still be a bit of a bump road for a while.
"It will be some time still." She glanced down at her belly, it was only just beginning to show and really it would be hard to tell at this point unless someone knew she was pregnant. "I spoke to a healer of a herd I passed by on the way home. She said it would take time and that I should restrict my travels as I got closer to having them. There are herbs I can take to keep my strength up if needed, I will have to check my supplies tomorrow to make sure I have everything I might need." She had been doing a pretty good job of keeping her herbs stocked while away, even Agave had helped to make sure wilted leaves were replaced so that if she ever needed them while home she would have fresh herbs. "Tomorrow we can talk to my parents, let them know. And they will know if our home is sheltered enough or if we should move to one of the groves a bit further from the beach." She gave him another nuzzle before lowering her head. "Right now all I need is some rest and to be with you. In the morning we will find out everything to expect and prepare from there."
