Demeter couldn't help but smile at the other girls words. She might have spoken meanly about her brother but she could feel the love the other girl had for him. "At least you have someone which is good. It's never fun to have to learn to be on your own." She'd been about to ask about their parents when the other continued on.

"That's terrible you were left alone just for changing. My mama took us away when I changed, knowing I would be seen of as strange. The humans who we lived with were...sheltered...did not like new things. Mama feared for my safety if we stayed. So we didn't." it was a simple explanation really.

She finished picking things and lowered herself down with a smile. "Thank you. It's been years now. Mama got very sick when it was snowing hard out and during a storm." there was a momentary far off look in her eyes before she looked back to the basket. "Will that be enough for you and your brother?"

"Perhaps so. I'm not entirely sure." of course not she had no experience with humans to base an opinion on.

She shook her head at the question a smile given. "No, you may keep it. I can make a new one if it turns out I need a new one."

Demeter reached for her own basket then, fingers curling around it. "If you ever return this way I will be happy to help you find any other fruits or other things to fill a basket with." there was a genuine warm smile from the bulbasaur girl as she finished speaking.

Demeter grew thoughtful at what the other girl had to say and gave a nod at the warning. "Maybe that is for the best. I don't know what to expect from humans. Others like us are easier to handle and relate to." or so it was seeming!

Seeing her turning to go Demeter had turned as well vines lazily snaking out and around the basket handles. It was the question that had her turn around and she smiled again. "I'm Demeter, and you?"
