Seems all the kids had this kind of luck. With a smirk of sorts, Ainsley watched the young Orderite go on about her plans for a ranch and whatnot. In all honesty he kind of admired her; at her age he was still under the Mistress's roof so he wasn't allowed to dream all that big. Or at all, actually, but Quan got him out with practically perfect timing.
Maybe he had a little luck.
"Sounds like a solid plan," the teen said with a chuckle. "What say we get back to work then? Still time and all, and it'd be better to work before sundown." Ainsley, while a bit of a pessimist in his own right, wasn't the sort to squash the dreams of a kid. Sue seemed to have things more or less figured out, and who was he to go and mess that up for her?robot kitten We can close it up in another post or two with them going back work? :3

_ p a o cx works for me! This can be my last post if you want :3 Sueno finished her snack and hopped off the chair to head back outside. "It is a solid plan! Now if only Ah could get mah brother tah help me catch critters! Add some variety tah mah dream ranch!" With help from Ainsley, she managed to get her garden cleared of most rocks and a rough fence up around it. All in all, a good days work! Plus she'd made (in her mind) a new friend who maybe she could convince later down the line to come back and help her again. After all, if his master liked to loan him out on jobs, maybe he would loan her Ainsley and she could go after some of the more dangerous creatures and capture one or two? Since her brother was always off hunting or too busy helping on the farm, she knew she'd need to keep an eye out for trustworthy people to kidnap... ah, convince to help her!

And so he followed the Orderite with the bounce in her step, a little curious what a childhood with supportive parents and no need to worry about cleaning a relatively large household in order to eat a measly meal twice a day was like. The thoughts, however, were put off as he got to work. As he was the older (and larger and stronger) of the two he, naturally, did most of the literal heavy lifting. It was strange, taking orders from someone almost half his age, but the blonde couldn't say that he didn't feel at all accomplished when they were finally done for the day.
It had, in fact, been a rather productive day. They'd gotten as far as putting up a nice, albeit somewhat rickety, fence around where Sue wanted her garden just a bit past sundown. Quan's timing was impeccable as usual, and he'd come to get Ainsley and settle whatever other business was to be settled before taking his leave with his protege in tow.
"I'll see you around, Sue," Ainsley said with a wave, not really sure if it was a good idea to encourage her at all to go and find him again. He wasn't sure he would enjoy another day working on a farm rather than on his training, but a job was a job. Plus it helped that she was at least enthusiastic and full of dreams; it made things a little less dreary. Gave his bleak outlook on the world just a little bit of color, similar to the way Ava did...but ever so subtly different. Like maybe in a sibling sort of way?
Yeah...he could see it that way.
