What I would suggest is keeping safe and being hesitant with anyone from my side, not all are as kind and civil as I." And even then he wasn't even civil with most. He sort of picked and choose who and when to be nice and when to be anything but nice. There was no one deciding factor either, no one way to win his niceness, it was hit or miss on how things started out which dictated how the whole encounter would go.

"Mmmm...but if you find yourself in a predicament I should think you senshi have a mean of communication? We do." He said, although he didn't show off his communications crystal, he was sure senshi weren't stupid enough to have no means of communications. If they did that would be a nice bit of info to have. But they couldn't be that stupid...right? "I would suggest calling for help and putting distance between you and whoever is after you...duck and dodge whatever you can. We teleport...so running along won't save you." He didn't say that Lieutenants couldn't teleport, no reason to mention that bit of information, but he was seeking to help her keep alive. To loose someone who was willing to help them - to heal them was not something he was willing to have happen. If he had it his way he'd bring her around to his side in this war. Either way though she was worth keeping alive and being on good terms with.

By the reply she was given, it seemed to have been little room left to doubt just how naive she really was to this whole war thing.

Acrucis' heart sank at Benitoite's words of caution and how familiar they rang - stay away. What she did find interesting if not startling is the notion that they could teleport and that running wouldn't do her much good. Though her face had paled considerably she replied to his question about communication, "I-we do have a way to call each other"

I just don't know how to yet... She mentally added in dismay. "I doubt I could bring myself to call someone for help. I-I don't think I could live with myself if I brought someone into a fight because I got too close and they got injured..." Or killed. Quick to shove the last thought away she did her best to smile again.

All he said was a lot to take in and this coming from someone on the other side held a bit of merit in her eyes. "I'll do my best to be careful."

"I should think your side would - mine does. It would be rather dangerous to not have a form of communication so I assume your side does. It would do you well to find out." He spoke seriously as he looked at her. She really was clueless and she needed to correct that - as soon as possible. It was not a good idea for her to be running about with no way to call for help if she needed it. He really did hope she would never have such a situation though, he'd like to keep this useful senshi alive and well for a long time to come.

"It is not wrong to call for help - to keep yourself alive. There will be people on my side who would see you dead and you must take caution and keep yourself alive. Your side isn't as likely to kill as my side is..." He really wanted her to remain well and alive. He needed her and he felt she could be useful to his side in general, whether he could get her to change sides or not. She had potential.

"Good, please do. I would dislike finding out you'd been hurt or killed." And he did mean it his voice sincere as were his eyes. "Yes?"

The kindness he'd displayed thus far coupled with the sincere look in Benitoite's eyes were both heartwarming. Even though he had warned her that there were those who would see her dead it was comforting to know he at least cared enough to give her some knowledge on how to survive.

"Thank you - Thank you for your kindness and patience; and for letting me borrow your cloak. " She reached up unclasping the two ivy leaf pins, gathering the tail end of the cloak so it didn't drag on the roof top before reaching out, cloth draped over her forearms, to return it to him. With a half smile she added "But I won't allow the possible dangers deter me from powering up or keep me from helping people. It's an ability meant to be used not hidden, at least that's my views towards it." She paused for a moment contemplating her next words, "The only thing I can do is take your advise to heart and try to be as safe as possible."

With a sigh she adverted her gaze, fixated across the street where Benitoite had been prior to jumping across to where he stood now. "I may be naive in regards to what's been going on but not not foolish enough to believe I'll make it out of this war unscathed. My goals are simple; to meet people on both sides, try to make friend, and help as many people as possible."

All I want to do is help

Acrucis began to rub her hands up and down her bare arms to fend off the impending goose bumps and chills having just relinquished the cloak. "I should probably go. Please be safe." She looked at him with pleading eyes, "I hope to see you again Benitoite." Per her friendly nature she wanted to reach out and give him a farewell hug, but managed to stay her hands.

With that said she walked over to the edge of an adjacent wall and leaped to another roof, not necessarily heading in the direction of home but close to it. Once she felt she was out of range she powered down in a safe spot and walked the rest of the way home. Please be safe she thought one final time before stepping over the threshold and closing the door behind her.

Nodding his head he bowed once, in respect for her - she who would help anyone no matter the side. Taking his cape back he swung it back behind himself and clasped it back into place. Slender, almost petite, fingers worked the ivy claps into place before he let his hands drop to his sides.

"It is a noble cause to do as you seek to - to help anyone in need. I doubt others with your gift, or similar, would do what you seek to. Whether due to fear or due to a dislike, even hate, of my side. Just the same as I doubt any on my own side, a corrupted senshi, would do the same if they had the gift you do." He couldn't even claim to be sure on Virtus, who he had only met once. He didn't know the dark mirror senshi well enough to assume.

"Good goals but you should include staying alive." He supplied with ease. This was one senshi he wished to have remain alive, she was willing to help both sides. She was useful to them and thus needed to keep herself alive as well. He understood her though...she wanted to help and do her best at it. She wanted to help everyone. He understood but he didn't feel the same - never would. He wanted to hurt and kill senshi and knights, with few exceptions. He couldn't, and wouldn't, tell her this. He needed to keep good ties between himself and this senshi. He had something here which was to be cultivated and made stronger.

"I will and keep safe yourself." He was more likely to keep safe than she was. So the words he spoke were more than just sincere but also a wish and hope. He could handle himself in a fight where she was less likely to, she was a first stage senshi after all. Watching her go he waited till she was out of sight before he turned and took off into the night.
