"I'll always mae time for you," Alistair said, his tone affectionate. "I appreciate your trust in me," he said, folding up the menu. "If it's my favorites, it'll be a lot of sushi," he warned.

"You better. Especially now that we're dating." The blonde chuckled. "Well you haven't led me astray yet... So as far as I'm concerned my trust is well placed." The blond made a small shrug. As long as Alistair was enjoying himself then that was all that Lance carried about. "So lots of fish and shrimp. Works for me."

"My time is yours whenever you may desire," Ali replied, "ah, unless I'm in class." He laughed softly. "Though I will endeavor to avoid leading you astray this time," he said, hand slipping behind Lance to play with his boyfriend's hair a little as Mayumi returned to their table and set down two cups and a teapot, then poured out the tea.
"Can I get you any appetizers?" She asked.
"Hm, the king crab and the gyoza dumplings." Alistair said. If he was going to take Lance on a flavor adventure, it would be an adventure, damn it.

"That's fine. I usually wait for you after class anyway. Besides, it works both ways since I usually help you run your lines anyway." He smiled, listening to Ali list what he wanted. "So how's this gonna work? You going to tell me what it is, and have me try it first before you tell me what's in it?"

"It does make running my lines more fun, since I'm working with a person and not a wall," Alistair acknowledged, smiling a little. "And yes, that sounds about right. I'll tell you what goes into it once you've at least given it a chance." Getting Lance to try new things was always an adventure, but it was one he would never tire of.

"Even though I have no clue what I'm doing half the time?" Lance chuckled blowing at his tea. "You're just bound and determined to get me to try everything aren't you??" He asked as he took a sip. He wasn't a big tea drinker, but this one was okay.

"I'm expanding your horizons, love," Alistair replied, taking a sip of his tea. Mayumi returned, setting down two plates - one with peeled crab legs covered in seasonings, and the other with four little dumplings and a small cup of sauce.
"Have you decided on your entrees?" She asked.
"A Lotus Roll, and tonkatsu with shrimp and vegetable tempura," Alistair said. Not just sushi, since Lance needed to try other things as well as far as he was concerned.

"Expanding my horizon's or not. Sitting through dress up is torture. Where does the theater department even keep all those clothes?" He took another sip of tea before setting the cup down. Picking up his chop sticks he reached over and plucked a dumpling from the plate, while simultaneously using it as an excuse to kiss Alistair's cheek.

"We have a very large wardrobe room," Alistair replied, and then he smiled a little. "Try the sauce too, it's very good," he said, and then he turned to kiss Lance's lips briefly, even as he reached over to pick up one of the pieces of crab leg.

"Uh huh... and how often are you trying to steal the outfits away hmm?" Lance dipped the dumpling gingerly into the sauce before taking a bit. "So I guess 'It's alright' wouldn't be an acceptable answer would it??"

"Never," Alistair said, doing his best to sound mock-offended. He took a bite of crab leg, and then he laughed. "No, unfortunately for you. Did you like it, or not?"

"Right. Because you aren't absolutely in love with the ball gowns they have." The blonde chuckled. "I like it. I don't know what it is or what's in it, but I like it." Then he leaned over and nipped at Ali's crap leg. "You don't have to explain this one. I know what this is."

"And I'd look absolutely fabulous in one, it hurts that they haven't offered me a part where I get to wear one yet," Alistair joked. He was fairly certain he could pull off a girl, but there were enough talented ladies n his theater department to render that unnecessary. "It's chicken and vegetables in the dumpling, by the by. The fun of the crab is the seasoning, though."

"You'll get your shot someday. Don't expect me to help with your make up though. That I have no clue about and I'd like to keep it that way." Lance made a small noise before going back to his dumpling. "Oh??"

Alistair nearly burst into another fit of laughter at the image of Lance doing makeup. "No, no, not your job," he said. "There are people that very much enjoy doing that." He too,a. Dumpling for himself, dipping it in the sauce before taking a bite. "It's a blend of several things, and they really bring out the flavor."
