When they got to the water Michelle knelt down to fill up the first bottle but had to dump the bottle back out since she got dirty water.

Corbin saw that they had finally made it to the oasis and to the water. "Why thank you." Corbin said with a grin, "Well that was certainly nice of your brother." He then took off his backpack to pull out his canteen. Then the bag was back on his back and he went to the water's edge to fill the canteen, which he forgot to fill before leaving. But he didn't get to it as he allowed Michelle to go first and he walked just a few steps away to get the water next to her.

Aaron was about to start looking around when Remy spoke. He looked back to Remy and tilted his head ever so slightly. "I'm a Riolu...... what are you?"

At the water's edge Corbin bent down to fill his canteen. But with Aaron still on his shoulders he became unbalanced. He almost dropped Aaron into the water and almost fell in himself before he caught his balance. He did drop his canteen into the water. He quickly took Aaron off his shoulders before grabbing the now wet canteen.

Genesis remained largely silent as they trekked through the sweltering heat. She was glad she wasn't in her usual dark Rocket garb, but that didn't make the sun any less blistering.

When they reached the water, she went forward with Corbin to fill up a canteen.

Ajax trotted beside his trainer, his lolling tongue the only indication he gave that the heat bothered him. Once they reached the oasis, he began drinking, taking the water downstream so that others wouldn't complain about saliva.

One ear perked up when he heard the sound of Corbin falling, and it seemed as if Genesis quickly joined him.

Fifi frowned, looking from her own water bottles to the water. Unscrewing the top of one, she leaned forward to fill it. Then she stopped, holding the bottle up to the light. Was there something in it? Better safe than sorry! She rinsed it thoroughly instead of filling it, then had to move to a less-disturbed spot.

You know... that you guys can keep rolling without waiting for someone else to post, right?

Vana looked around, it seemed like most of their group had made it, so she looked around for something to carry water in, she grabbed one of the water skins that had been pointed out on their way over and apparently someone had grabbed a few extra then left them lying around.

She went to the edge of the oasis and was trying to fill the water skin when she slipped and landed in the water. Somehow keahi and her parasol managed to stay dry.

As Anise approached the oasis's pond, she found a number of people trying to gather water, but nobody yet leaving with any. She shrugged and reached into her bag for the small cookpot she kept with her. Between that, a couple bowls and cups, and a large water bottle, she ought to be able to carry a good bit.

She pulled out the pot and leaned over to scoop up some water, but as she lifted it up she found the water was clouded with sand. Hmm, that might be the problem. She dumped out the pot, wiped it off a bit with a small towel from her bag, then went to look for cleaner water.

Anise continued along the waterside, but all the water nearby seemed to have had sand kicked up in it recently. She tried to walk more softly so as not to send more sand into the water as she kept looking.

Anise found a spot where the water looked cleaner and leaned down to scoop up some water. But the sandy mud at the water's edge was more slippery than it looked, and one of her feet slid out from under her. Only the fact that Oki grabbed her shirt in his mouth kept her from falling into the water. "Thanks, Oki," she told him as she picked herself back up. Still, he waited until he was sure she was steady before he let go.

Anise approached the shore again to try for more water, but after only a step or two she felt her foot start to slip. She froze, not wanting to tumble in the water. Carefully she backed away, baking slow, small steps. Once she was sure she was on firmer ground, she went to look for a spot with less a slippery shore.

"Yep! He's actually the one who has gotten all the pokemon I have, through there are only three of them counting Remy here." Michelle smiled brightly. She had left Mid Boss and Bob and home though so she couldn't show Corbin them. As she talked she tried again to fill a bottle but had to dump that one as well.

Remy hoped down from Michelle's shoulders and took a drink from the water before answering.

Oki started to pad after Anise, but he started to slide among the mud as well. That would not do! It seemed trying to get to water to wash them off would be a bad idea, so he did the opposite: he went to a sandier patch and rubbed his feet through that until the sticky mud was coated with sand, then scraped it off on a tree root. That seemed to do the trick, and as soon as the worst of it was off, he ran to catch up with Anise.

Vana sighed and pulled hr self out of the water, she needed to be more careful next time. She hadn't gone very far when she slipped again.

Vana stood up again, smoothing her dress with one hand. She walked out of the water and set her parasol down near a tree, maybe she'd do better without it at the moment.
