Lasarra Lasarra shook her head at her sisters words. "No… I should have stayed hidden for longer… It was my fault. I should have let your second arrow hit it before I showed myself." she said slowly as they walked. She didn't want her sister to think this was her fault. It was more Lasarras than anything else. She didn't talk for a while and before she knew it they were near the house. "Stop for a second please…" she said as she took in deep breath. She needed to breathe. After a few minutes she nodded, signaling that she was ready to keep going. "Do we have bandaids or anything?" she was sure she need more than just a few bandaids but she was sure her sister would understand what she was saying.

Kelina Kelina wanted so much to shake her head no, but that would be using energy that was needed elsewhere. She refrained from speaking anymore, as she didn't want Lasarra to use any energy she didn't need to. They limped along in silence, and they were near the house before she knew it. Upon Lasarra's request, they stopped for a moment which was good for each of the girls as they were able to catch their breath. Once Lasarra signalled she was ready to go again, Kelina once again shouldered her sister's weight and continued on. They were almost near the house when Lasarra spoke again. "I believe so. I learned from my mother that its always good to keep extra first aid on hand." They were at the house now. The house in the trees, how were they going to get up there. "I can bring some supplies down, the climb would hurt a lot." She said, making sure to keep her voice even and calm.

Lasarra Lasarra nodded. She agreed that going up to their home wasn't the best idea at the moment. Lasarra knew she couldn't climb alone, and she was pretty sure that Kelina couldn't carry her up, especially after the walk it took them to get there. "Okay. Just put me down and let Izsha out please." she said to her sister as she closed her eyes. At least with Izsha down here with her she could put some of her weight on the animal if she needed to move again, making it easier on Kelina. "Do you think we will need to go get a healer?" she asked very quietly. She hoped that they didn't, but Kelina would know better than she did since Kelina's mother was a healer.

Kelina Nodding to her sister, Kelina made sure to lean her gently against the trunk of a large tree. In her head, she was cataloging the injuries and some of the things she might need. "I'll let Izsha out first thing. I don't think we'll have to get a healer. The wounds are deep but they should heal on their own as long as we keep them clean. I may have a few herbs still that will help keep the infection away. I'll bring them down and make a poutice to pack in the wound. I'll be right back." Kelina said before regretfully leaving her sister to go let out Izsha. With Izsha let out, she felt a little bit better about her sister being alone while injured. Making the climb up to the house, Kel quickly grabbed an adequate amount of cloth bandages, some herbs that she thought would help, as well as a basin of water. It was difficult climbing down with all the supplies, but she made it.

Lasarra Lasarra clenched her jaw as her sister gently leaned her against the tree. Her sister was gentle, which she was thankful for, but it still hurt. Waiting for her sisters answer she hope she would say no. The less amount of people that knew the more her pride would be intact. Stupid halfling can't even hunt right. She could already here the more prejudice shifters gossiping now. Sure people would eventually find out, but she would prolong that as much as possible. When her sister finally spoke a visible sigh escaped her body. That was good, she thanked Kelina's dead mother mentally for being a healer. She heard her sister leave, and didn't open her eyes until she felt Izsha's muzzle pushing at her hand. "Hey girl…" she said as she scratched Izsha's muzzle. Although it wasn't all that long for Kelina to get back she felt as if it was forever! She stroked the radaku's fur until she heard her sister descending. "You have everything?" she asked curiously.

Kelina "I believe so." Kelina said, gently setting each thing down: the basin of water, cloth bandages, and various herbs. Sparing a few pets for Izsha, she took another look at her legs, it seemed the right leg was the only one that had really met the radaku's claws. There were a few small cuts on the left leg, but nothing to even worry about. With a deep breath in to steady herself, her eyes flicked up to her sister. "Are you ready? It's going to hurt at first...well, probably the whole time." She told Lasarra. Kel wanted to tell it how it was so that Lassara wasn't taken off guard. Giving her sister a momment to get ready, she wet one of the cloth bandages to use to clean off all the blood and other things that may have gotten in the wound. Her face was held in a grimace as she worked, brow furrowed as she concentrated on cleaning the wound as good as she could. Once she was satisfied, the took a few of them up, gently tearing them between her fingers before rubbing them all together in her palms. She hadn't thought to bring a mortar and pestal so she had to make due. Gently packing the herbs throughout the wounds, she realized she had just enough. A silent prayer went up to her mother for all that she had taught her. Rinsing her hands off behind her, she grabbed the clean bandages. "This is going to hurt..." Kel warned as she picked Lasarra's leg up and put it on her shoulder so she could use both hands. With the bandages, she worked quickly to bind up her leg and securing it with a tie. Only now did she exhale a large sigh. "You okay?" She asked, looking up at Lasarra once more.

Lasarra Lasarra watched her sister as she looked at her legs. Kelina's eyes would tell Lasarra more than her mouth would. She wasn't sure that her sister would tell her if it was horrible, but she was sure that Kelina wasn't that good of an actor to hide it in her eyes if it was. She studied her sister and as far as she could tell Kelina wasn't overly worried. Good, that meant it wasn't fatal. When her sister spoke up Lasarra nodded. She could deal with a bit more pain, and she would do her best to not make any noise or move as much as she could. After all moving would just make the whole thing take longer, which mean more pain for Lasarra. She just wanted the whole thing to get over with. The moment that the wet cloth touched her leg Lasarra closed her eyes and bit her tongue to stop the cry that had formed in her throat. No she was stronger than this, and she wouldn't let her sister be sidetrack by her sounds. However as her sister cleaned the wound she realized that it was actually not as bad as it looked thankfully. She watched her sister with interest, hopefully she would never have to do this herself but you could never know enough about healing. Lasarra nodded again when Kelina told her it would hurt, but Lasarra underestimated the pain and when Kelina picked up her leg the cry she had been holding escaped. "I'm fine I'm fine, just go." she said quickly so her sister know she was fine. After what seemed like forever, but was only seconds really, Kelina finished bandaging her up. "Well I could be better, but I'm alive thanks to you and your amazing mother." she said with a nod and a half smile.

Kelina Even though Kelina was done tending to Lasarra's wound, her hands still shook. Kelina was so upset with herself. How could she have let this happen to Lasarra? She should have kept her sister safe, Lasarra's mother would probably be furious with her for letting her daughter get hurt. Her head hung low, even as Lasarra thanked her. "Wait here, I'll go get some blankets and a few pillows from the house so you won't have to move." Once again, she stood up, her legs shook a little from being so tense and in the same position for so long. She grabbed everything back up again to take back to the house. WIth everything in her hands again, she started the climb back up. Kel disposed of the bloodied rags accordingly and put the basin back where it's place was. She did fill a skin or two with some water to take back down with her, but so that it wouldn't spill if knocked over. Grabbing a pillow and blanket for each of them, she climbed back down. "Lean forward real fast." She told Lasarra as she slipped the pillow behind her to comfort her more. Covering her with a blanket, she handed her one of the water skins before getting settled beside her. "I'll take watch as you sleep. I'm sure Izsha will help me."

Lasarra Lasrra nodded and watched as her sister left. She could feel that there was something hanging over her sisters head, but she didn't know how to fix it. Hopefully over time either Kelina would let it go, or open up more to Lasarra about it. She wanted to go up to her bed to sleep comfortably, but even though she wanted to she knew that she wouldn't be able to. Even if she could get her self up the tree there was a big chance that she would just hurt herself even more. As it was she wasn't going to be able to do anything for a while. She cursed herself for being so stud. Now she wouldn't be able to catch any new animals until she was feeling better, which meant that she wouldn't have any income coming into the house. She was turning out to be a burden on her sister more than a help. As Kelina came back and told her to sit up she did it and when she was handed the water skin she took it happily. She hadn't realized just how thirsty she was. "Thanks again Kel, I would be dead out there without you. And don't worry, Izsha can watch us both if you want to sleep. She'll make any noise if someone comes." And soon she was falling asleep, the floor wasn't as comfy as her bed but she was too tired to not fall asleep.

Kelina It had been a few weeks since their hunting accident and things had been kind of tense between them. Lasarra was getting stir crazy and they were getting even lower on food. With Kelina having never gone back to get that Radaku, they had been eating fruits most of the time, but they needed meat, and even Izsha was looking a little thin. So Kelina knew she had to go hunting again. With her bow slung over her shoulder once more, and her quiver strapped around her waist, the day started off just as it had three weeks ago, with one exception, Lasarra wouldn't be accompanying her.

Lasarra Lasarra was going crazy having to stay in the house. In the house she was useless. She couldn't work on taming the animals she had already caught, nor could she go out and catch some more. She also couldn't go get food to feed her and her sister. She couldn't collect fruits or hunt for meat and it was making her crazy. She had lashed out at Kelina a few times, but always said sorry right away. It wasn't that she was mad at her sister, she was just unhappy with her situation. Sitting up in bed she could hear Kelina moving around. "Where are you going?" Lasarra asked as she swung her legs over to the side of the bed. She knew that she couldn't walk normally, she was just starting to be able to put pressure on her leg, but she was going to be damned if she had to stay in the house alone for even one more second

Kelina "Don't worry about it. I'll be back by nightfall." Was all that Kelina would tell her sister who she had woken up sadly. Kel had hoped to sneak out without that happening but she supposed it was no use. She knew how bad Lasarra was feeling, but none of it was her sister's fault, all of it was hers. And Kelina was doing everything she could to not let that happen again. Sure they had a few little spats here and there since then, but Kelina took it all in stride. It was her fault that Lasarra was like this and she would never let her sister take any of the blame for their situation. "I'll make sure Izsha is let out and has plenty to eat and drink. I wrote down the herb combination for a tea to help if you're still having bad pain in your leg. I'll be back soon." She said before walking towards the door.

Lasarra "I'm coming too." Lasarra said. She deeply wished that Izsha was in the tree to help her up, and made a mental note to find a way for the animal to get in the house, but she would have to do without her. She closed her eyes and stood up, putting most of her weight on her left leg. Her right leg still hurt, pretty badly also, but she had drank the tea that Kelina made her earlier so it wasn't unmanageable. "We'll just make some tea now to bring with us and I'll come with you." she insisted. She wasn't going to stay in the house while Kelina went out, no sir.

Kelina Kelina shook her head. "Lasarra you have to rest. Your leg won't get better if you try to move around. Moving around is going to make your scabs crack and your wound open. Going with me won't help me any. I couldn't protect you even when you could move normally, how am I supposed to protect you now?!" She almost shouted at her sister. All her former frustration and guilt spillled out now as she finally spoke her mind about their whole situation. "I can't protect you out there! Animals are dangerous and they're not worth taming, its not worth the danger. Izsha is great and all, but they're unpredictable! And I can't put you in that situation again."
