Rastian wasted no time with initiating his plan, having already bent down next to Oulixes again and unraveled half of the bandages he had taken from the corner of the tent. While one hand held the bandages out for measuring, the other rummaged through another set of bags quite furiously. Oulixes would need blinding powder, a few small throwing knives, and vials for quick healing. He wanted to give the other man some poison vials as well, to use on the knives, but knew that the colors of the poisons and the healing liquids were practically identical if viewed in the same light. He didn't want to chance giving his patient something that might cause him more pain by mistake.
"When you have two brothers and a hyperactive nephew, you learn to be a little devious." He snickered, smirking. Natsu was quite the prankster, given the mood, and Viveka was fun to scare from time to time. That and, Ogbonna was someone you had to keep an eye on no matter what. If he didn't have a few tricks up his sleeves, he would never get anything done.
His motions were quick, as was his bandaging. It seemed to take him no time at all to cover Oulixes' wounds before he settled into making the "pouch" that would be situated upon the other's side. "I'm going to place this close to your largest wound so that it's easier to be concealed." He explained. "It'll be loose, but it won't slip off of you, so don't worry if it seems to wiggle a little when you move."
Once the pouch had been secured and supported from all angles, so it could handle weight, he began to place the objects inside it. As he did, he held up each object so Oulixes could see. "This powder, when thrown towards someone's eyes, will temporarily blind them." He said, placing it inside the pouch. "These knives may be small, but when thrown at the right speed and at the right body part, can kill or paralyze. Also, these vials are filled with healing liquid that can be applied directly upon wounds, open or not. I've given you four, use them wisely."
Afterwards, he folded the edges of the opening to the pouch to make it look as if it were another layer of bandaging, and leaned back to smile at Oulixes. "Alright, that's the best I can do for you in the long run, my friend." He sighed. "What I can do for you now is ease that fever and get you back to a stable condition. The rest is up to your sheer will."

Oulixes fell quiet, listening to what he was saying about his brothers and nephew, wondering what that might be like, to have relatives that weren't out to get him... but he shoved such thoughts aside. His lot in life was much different from that of this healer, it was what it was and he had to deal with that in the same manner that he always had. All in all though, even knowing what it was that was ahead of him this moment in time at least was nice, to get a bit of help in this manner like this. Once everything was handed over to him, hidden in his bandages, he gave a slow nod, "I will do what I can with what you have given me." He murmured, eager to get to feeling better so that he would be ready for his tussle with his father. He'd use what was given to him, he would injure that b*****d, and he would make him understand that he was more then just his punching bag.
Giving a soft laugh, something he rarely did, he said, "It would be so nice... if I could pull that off, blinding that guy even if for a moment..." He was sure that would be something he'd die for but it would so be worth it. Blind him, wound him, do anything to show the man that he wasn't afraid of him he would be happy no matter what happened at the end. His smile faded as he felt himself starting to grow a bit on the exhausted side, a little frustrated that he was feeling so drained. Damn Hesutu having to leave him in this condition he thought to himself, wanting to give the guy a kick... but it wouldn't really be nice of him, would it? He was actually trying to help to a degree, fetching and carrying for Rastian in the manner that he was.
As though summoned by his thoughts the man came inside the tent once more, holding out the jar of berries out to Rastian, "I hope that I got enough, I wasn't quite sure what a 'handful' consisted of so I got a bunch of them so I wouldn't have to make another trip." He said, turning to look over at the resting boy, "How is Lixes holding up?"

Rastian chuckled along with Oulixes. The blinding powder would be very useful, as it often burned like hell even after sight had been restored. It was odd how he found himself thinking about an evil person rolling around on his back in the snow like a blithering child, it brought a little humor into his heart. He really hoped that Oulixes could land a decent blow on this guy, it would, in turn, make him feel like he had done something, too.
"Perfect, thank you." He said, taking the jar from Hesutu. Hm, for a jerk who was dragging someone up to what might be their end, he was pretty useful. Maybe he had been ordered around like this before? It would explain why he was ferrying Oulixes up to Zena and why he was so eager to get back up there. The same jerk that wanted to hurt Oulixes was probably just as eager to take a jab at this guy, an amusing thought. Fear could do a lot to someone, couldn't it?
He took a few of the berries out of the jar and squeezed the juice onto another damp cloth, before exchanging the new cloth for the one already placed on Oulixes forehead. "Just take some deep breaths and let that set in." He said. "The aroma from the berries should perk you up. The juice also helps heal any minor scrapes you may have on your forehead, if there happen to be any there."
Then, he moved towards his satchels again and tugged a cloak from underneath them. After some slight dusting and examination, he turned to Hesutu. "He must wear this while he's in Zena, do you understand?" He said. "If he doesn't, he'll likely freeze to death before you even reach your destination. The fever he has might indicate otherwise, but he could go into shock from the sharp fluctuations in temperature. It's best if he keeps covered at all times until he gets home."
The cloak was more like a large blanket and was lined with Roati fleece. However, it's coloration was odd, almost tribal, as if it had come from Jauhar instead of Zena. Rastian knew it belonged to someone who wasn't fond of Zena, but he couldn't remember exactly who. It was best to put it to use while it sat here among the growing clutter of the tents.

Oulixes forced his eyes open when Hesutu arrive, glancing toward him, almost certain that the man was going to be able to somehow look at him and know exactly what it was that he and Rastian were up to... but nothing happened. The man handed over the berries and then settled down near the opening to the tent, watching Oulixes but nothing more. He didn't notice then? A good thing for sure, it meant that he would be able to bring his various, hidden supplies with him, hopefully all the way to where his b*****d of a father was waiting for him. Such a thought was forgotten as one cloth on his head was traded out for another, the scent of the berries a nice, sweet one, one that he found that he rather liked though he wouldn't admit it. It would perk him up as well as heal minor scrapes, huh? Those were some useful berries for sure he thought to himself.
When there was a mention of something that he should wear while in Zean he glanced toward Rastian, watching him and the cloak that he was carrying. It was an interesting one, it looked quite warm, something that would be quite useful. He would hold onto it for as long as he was able to do so. He'd have to hope that it wasn't something that his father would want to take for himself as the often did when it came to various commodities. Surely a mere cloak wouldn't draw his attention though no matter how nice it looked to Oulixes.
Hesutu glanced between the cloak and Oulixes before he nodded his head, "I will see to it that he is kept bundled up." If it was something that would help the boy then it was best that he saw to it that it was done. He wanted to keep him alive after all and the idea that he could actually go into shock was a jarring one. Something like that, it was dangerous, could kill the boy. Best that he didn't let it happen on his watch, "Once he has rested up some, if you feel it's alright to do so, we should likely be on our way." The man said after taking the cloak from Rastian, determined to wrap Oulixes in it once they started to travel into colder weather.

Once the cloak had been safely handed over, Rastian moved to check the other cloths he had placed upon Oulixes. He placed his hand on each to feel the temperature and nodded to himself when he found they had grown warm, time to exchange those as well! He went to the bucket again and pulled out a few more damp cloths, swapped them for the old ones, and smiled to himself. Well, for a guy who was marginally sick himself, he was doing a good job, wasn't he?
"Well, it's always best to wait until the patient feels up to standing, in my opinion." He said, glancing towards Hesutu. "Otherwise you could have a limp noodle or a not-so-drunken walker. This village has quite a few of those, you don't want to be stuck carrying one of them around." He chuckled, before grazing his hand across his forehead quickly, turning as he did. Was his fever getting worse, or was the tent suddenly warmer than it should be? He glanced to his injured shoulder as he fussed with his satchels and sighed, the bandages were still tied as tight as they were. However, he would have to change them soon if he wanted to be comfortable, but that would have to wait until Oulixes and Hesutu left. His patient's safety was far more important to him right now than his arm and his fever.
"As soon as you think you're prepared to go, you may." He assured, smiling towards Oulixes. "Your fever should subside soon, I've done far more than what is recommended, because you need to travel so soon. However, if you want to stay and rest, none of my family members are due home for a few hours. They're a loud, crazy bunch, so I would say, for your sanity, that you should leave before they arrive." He let out a rather loud chortle, before covering his mouth in a shocked manner. "Ah, forgive me, I... Remembered something stupid my brother did and it made me laugh."
His covers were getting bad, and he knew it.

Hesutu looked over at Oulixes in a thoughtful manner, then gave a nod of his head, "We will allow him to rest for a while longer then." He said, certain that he didn't want to continue to carry him along as he had been for a while there. They covered very little ground with Oulixes in such a condition after all. Best that he just make sure that he got what rest he needed here and then he'd bring him home when he was in a better condition. As the Healer said that the fever should subside soon and that his family members were due home in a few hours he said, "We will be sure to be gone long before that." He didn't want anyone else getting in the way of bringing him home after all.
When Rastian set to laughing over something that came to mind, something stupid his brothers did, both Oulixes and Hesutu gave him a long look before going back to what they were doing. Oulixes resting and soaking up the scent of the berries that were being used on him while Hesutu merely watched him, waiting for signs that the fever he had was on the verge of breaking... and some time later it finally did. There was sweat on Oulixes's skin once more, a sure sign that the worse was behind them. Feeling that he'd rested long enough he was quick to wake the boy up, "Come on, Lixes, you have rested long enough. I think it's time that we get going, before his family comes back. We don't want to be underfoot when they do." He said, fetching one of the cloths that the Healer had on hand to mop off the boy's forehead before helping him to his feet.
Turning to look at Rastian for a long moment Hesutu dug into his pocket, pulling out some crystals that appeared to be quite valuable, tossing them to him, "For your silence." He said before he finished packing up what they were to bring with them.
Oulixes sighed a bit as he was forced to his feet, glad for what rest he'd gotten, as well as the help provided to him by Rastian. He knew the guy didn't remember him but Oulixes would remember Rastian in a much better light from here on out. Giving him a nod he said, "Thanks, for everything." Not just the healing the weapons that he'd given to him. He would be able to defend himself better now, something that he hoped would aid him in his quest to bring his father low even if only for a moment. After one last glance at Rastian he found himself being herded out of the tent by Hesutu. A part of him wished that he'd had more time alone with him, wished that he'd asked about Yaholo... but it was best that he didn't. He couldn't allow Yaholo to know where he was, especially now, he'd do something stupidly heroic and get himself killed. No, it was best that he was left behind where he was safe he thought to himself as the two of them once more started on their path toward Zena, leaving the village a short time before the others were due to arrive.

Rastian, now feverish himself, smiled as Oulixes and Hesutu left. It appeared to be a genuine smile, but in truth, it was filled with awkward emotions. He was glad he was able to do something to help Oulixes, he was glad he could use his Healing knowledge well. But, he was also fearful that his work may not have been enough, and that he may have made himself sick in the process. Still, he rose to his feet and caught the crystals that Hesutu had thrown towards him.
"No trouble at all, you two stay safe, okay?" He said, knowing full well that they wouldn't be safe, at least not in Oulixes' case. As they passed the entrance to the village and headed on their way, he ducked back into the tent and set to fixing himself up.
However, as he rummaged through his things, he was taken aback by a sudden realization. "Wasn't that guy...?" He muttered, his eyes wide. His hands dropped to his sides, seemingly dumbfounded, before they darted back towards his satchels. He needed to get to Jauhar quickly, even if it killed him!
