Not entirely unsurprising if all gods literally were their domains- the tide came and receded after all.
"It wounded her deeply. She has not even willing to talk to me about it at first. I do not feel right divulging a lot of detail without her consent." He was honorbound to keep patron's secrets, even if those patrons were friends. "One of her aoide came here a while back looking for you, rather upset I might add, and found me instead. I offered to go and do what I could." Laughter had needed a shoulder to cry on even if she could not admit it then.

"...Water? Kaelin?" Love spoke the name as though it left a bad taste in his mouth, and made a distinctly unhappy sound. "That little-" Even as he started to bare his teeth, he cut himself short, swallowing his initial reaction before it could get the better of him. Alex had hated Kaelin, feelings that had been blunted only to a deep dislike once Rio had merged with her.
"Nngh, sorry. That was...unseemly." Rio sat up and took a moment to orient himself. "Thank you, for helping her. I'm sorry I wasn't here."

The minor outburst was surprising but Leo couldn't blame him for it. "I don't blame you for being upset. I do not care for him either." Simply because of how he had left Lisana in pieces. He rolled onto his back and looked up at Rio. "Helping felt like the right thing to do." His fingers found Rio's and squeezed them gently. Love had no need to apologize.

"He's one of very few people I can honestly say I dislike. Now I have one more reason. Not that it matters, anymore." Rio smiled a little and pushed away the lingering negative emotion. Kaelin was long gone, as far as he knew, and wasting time on being upset about something that had happened years ago was pointless.
Allowing himself to relax again, he bent to kiss his companion on the cheek. "Have I missed much else?"

"Emile's common is getting better and the girls have ended up learning some D'Angeline to be able to talk to him too." There had not been much choice with the matter really, otherwise Shy and Ishka would never have been able to talk to him at all in beginning. "And after we got back I tried to find Echo and Kios to give them the gifts I brought with me and did not have any luck. I will probably go inquire again soon but Echo's aoidei do not seem to know where she went off to." Hopefully she was well, where ever she had run off to.

"I'm glad to hear it. He's been happy here so far?" There was no shortage of things to delight a child at the Pantheon, magic and fantastical creatures and a whole new world, but it was very different. Hopefully Emile was continuing to- Wait. "Echo's gone? How long?"
And back to 'worried Rio' mode.

Leo made a helpless sounding noise and shrugged. "I don't know. Though surely her aoidei would know if something is amiss?" And if something was truly wrong no doubt they would have acted differently, or more likely been out looking for her. "She might have just left without telling them where she intended to go."
