Camelot laughed and shook his head.
"I'm the first, I don't think it's dangerous to say. I am a Templar, a fourth level of power for the Knights." It was not information the Negaverse did not already have, considering he had powered up with General King Zinkenite's hand literally in his chest. He rubbed his chest thoughtfully, his eyes flickering thoughtfully for a moment as he considered what almost happened. He could have been corrupted that night.
That was a nightmare that would be sticking with him for some time.
"Ah, but no, no dogs for us," he laughed, "actually, every civilian has the capacity to be a knight in them, and are awakened when the need is most dire. It's not something we can see or control. It's that same potential, I think, that a Negaverse soldier can tap into and corrupt when awakening a civilian through Chaos. We are two sides of the same coin, Knights and the Negaverse." He took a breath. "I have the ability to purify Negaverse soldiers into Knights, as well."

"No wonder. Templar, huh. You'd be the rank of a General-King in our organization. I don't often get to meet energy levels higher than me, let alone with guards." It was his poor mistake with finding a princess that resulted in his eye being punched out by her protector.
"Oh, I heard about purification." He didn't like the wording if it. To him, he was normal and in no way more or less evil than the other members in the war. "One of our officers became purified and forgot everything they knew. Similar to senshi corruption." He wasn't about to deny that there weren't similarities, and Camelot did point out they were similar in many ways. He also seemed very knowledgeable, which made him wonder how he knew certain things and what else he could tell.
"Can't say many officers would jump at forgetting everything under the false title if purification to just go back to fighting for Earth - which they already do. I've also seen a few knight weapons and they don't come off as powerful. Sorry." He would hate to learn a new weapon with his eyesight.
"So are you the only one that purifies? Do you.." He reached out and gripped. ".. Poor energy into a starseeds like corruption?"

Camelot shook his head, though he supposed he was more guard than one deserving guards. He did not consider himself the same as the Princesses, but rather their protector, a knight of a higher class that served and aided, but did not rule. He was not there to be a boss, but a symbol and a source of information and strength, if anyone needed to draw from it.
"And knight corruption," he said, nodding his head. "Changing sides, either way, seems to result in memory loss. Some, when forced, lose a lot more." He looked sad again, but took a slow breath to steady himself. That was a very complicated memory, and he could not really let himself get distracted by wondering what if. "I would never force it on anyone. If someone wants to be purified, or rather if someone wants to have the chaos removed from their starseed, then I will do it with their permission."
He shook his head, not calling his sword to his hand because he did not want to put it in any danger, even though he did not think Wolframite was posing any at the moment. It was still a sacred relic, and something he did not know the ins and outs of yet. He was not going to summon it unless he needed it.
"It's not really about power. It's about seeing changes in themselves that they don't want to see, and it's about choice. I don't believe my abilities work like yours. I can't force energy into a starseed and call someone mine, like you can. It's a... different process, that much I know. I haven't used it yet, however, so I'm not sure of the details." He had heard about purification from the Senshi side, and corruption by Negas, but how he, a Templar, did it was still for him to discover. He supposed he would not know for sure until he did it, and it would reveal itself to him in time, like the words to visiting his Wonder had. With knights, a lot of things seemed to happen when they needed to, or when someone was ready.

"Interesting. I suppose that starseeds are influenced in a lot of ways. Makes you wonder why a object that is essentially your soul is like a big, hard, magical sponge." Not to mention why they were even edible, but he wasn't about to mention that to the knight.
Thinking, he reached out, as if grabbing something. "Never corrupted anyone before. Makes you wonder how it would be to create something and alter their life in such a dynamic way." He wanted to recruit a new member to the Negaverse badly, and felt unaccomplished as a General to not welcome in a new member to their cause. He wanted to give to a starseed rather than take one.
He stopped grabbing the imaginary starseed and turned to pick up his sandwich again. Then he looked up again. "A Wonder? What is a Wonder?"

Camelot looked thoughtful, nodding his head as he considered the starseed for what it was. A little crystal that wasn't a crystal, holding all the potential power that a human being could wield, just waiting to be tapped into, be it by chaos or order. It could be broken, and it could be removed completely, though not without terrible consequences.
"It does seem like a lot of responsibility for such a small little part of what makes up a human. And most people go through their lives without ever even knowing it's there."
And maybe that was better for them, in the long run.
"It doesn't make me wonder," he said, shaking his head. "Forcing someone to be something does not really seem like my place. I know I have the power to purify, for example, but only if someone sought it for themselves. Who or what a person is meant to be is a bit too complicated a subject, I think, for people like us to be inferring with. I half imagine if someone hadn't gotten it in their head to start changing people, one way or another, this war would never have happened. We're caught in a cycle now, one side and the other just... struggling to keep their numbers even. Er... uh. A wonder is what our names, as Knights, are derived from. It's a place in our past that we draw our powers from."

"I was wondering if your name was just funny in that historical myth sense. So you are taking your power from a place in time? That seems very different from a senshi and their planet. I would think that if it was in the past, the power would be very weak to call upon." Then again, the Negaverse didn't call on a special power all their own. Their power was shared as a group, and given to others. They all collected from some abyss that seemed governed by their unseen entity , who could take it whenever it wanted.
"The senshi are forced without consent by their cats. Many do not want to fight but are brainwashed to believe that they have to leave their homes instead of just deciding not to transform into uniform. They have no idea the risk they take and what flag they wave whenever they go on the streets. At least most of the Negaverse offered before corruption unless the situation is dire." He thought of other cases. "Or if senshi want our protection."
He looked over at Camelot. "Have you heard of any knights being purified or corrupted or what have you? Your group brings in a really odd balance to the war. Not a bad one. Just a different side that our side isn't really worried over." He lied.
