Omg, Thorne xD High five, buddy!

Ok ok ok. We need to work out a timeline here. This is what I have, since I haven't fully dug into the Thorne/Caroline rps or the Rob/Caroline rps.

SO. Meta. We got Caroline meeting Thorne at the meta, but she sees Rob first and chills with him for a bit. Than Soi comes in and makes it all awkward. Rob or Caroline bails from the other after Soi leaves, and Caroline finally meets up with Thorne.

Angsty Soi starts drinking a lot more, which, given the amount she drank before, she might as well be a fish that lives in booze. Soi realizes she has a walking talking punching bag to take her angst out on in Desmond.

A few weeks/months later, Rob and Ollie happen upon Soi in a tavern and more angst ensues. Rob still feels some misplaced sense of Obligation to Caroline and after an angsty night of arguing and awkward dancing, they part again.

Significantly more angsty Soibhan starts uh....sleeping around. Can't quite get Rob out of her head. Desmond starts falling in love with her(WHY YOU STUPID, STUPID MAN). And she meets Edgar. Our dear, oh so sweet Edgar. He has nothing to do with the love blob, but he really contributes to a lot of Soi's angst. Maybe part of this is because in a weird way, he reminds her of Rob(lol surprise!siblings) without her truly realizing this. He also has a perfect way of making her question herself and her capabilities.

Segue into an as yet to be written RP where Soi(and maybe Des?) are strolling through Palisade and Soibhan sees Caroline.....with Thorne. And she's all "what the hell who is that where's Rob?" She decides to investigate after seeing Caroline and Thorne part ways. Interrogates Thorne, and not even in a subtle way because Soibhan doesn't even know what the word means or that it even exists. (at some point before this, I'm assuming there would be Rob/Car and Car/Thorne rps, maybe even Rob/Thorne rps?). Somewhere in this RP, maybe Soi brings up the splinter cell and offhandedly mentions that Caro would be awful for it, doesn't have the backbone, yadda yadda. Which plants the seed for Thorne(somehow? I'M TRYING OK
Let's throw in a Rob and Soibhan RP now. There should be a lot of angst. Because seriously, I drink this stuff like water when it comes to my characters. Rob and Soi need to fight. A bad fight, where inevitably, one or the other just up and walks away. Maybe Soi punches him. Idk. Moon, work your magic. Soi is awful with relationships. Awful. Like, please return your social butterfly card Soibhan, because you're bad. So, maybe Rob doesn't even realize at this point that Soi loves him. Maybe he's seen her a lot with Desmond(because she really has been with him a lot, poor Des) and jumps to the wrong conclusion. Maybe he ALSO sees her with Nortier.

Then a Desmond/Rob rp. Rob is all "I hate this guy, he has Soi, grr argh" and maybe he gets all short tempered with Des. The boys could fight? Des can fight, he's just a.....pacifist/most-of-the-time pansy. Des points out that Soi has loved Rob this entire time. Angsty bro talk ensues.

At some point after her fight with Rob, Soi basically lives and breathes booze. She slips up one night. Is stumbling home from the tavern and gets jumped by some sleaze. This is like...her lowest point. She grows unsure of her abilities to lead and fight, and even protect herself. Starts to think that she's all talk and maybe that's why Rob doesn't want her. Than the Wardwood calls to her(cue Soibhan getting Chosen emotion_kirakira ) and she beats the b*****d to a pulp and rides off to the Wardtree.

After this...............I'm not sure. I feel that at this point, we should cut everyone some slack and maybe finalize relationships xD Except poor Des. He's getting the short end of the stick and will be alone.

Now remember! This is just what I got from my side. Ready, set, GO! I want to hear Caro, Thorne, and Rob stuff in between all this mess!

Holy sheeeeeeet, that's a lot of awesomeness. Still at work, but had to check in, and ask my questions. I'll have a wall of plot text once I get home.

OK, so... think I just have one question. The stuff starting at the Soi/Thorne talk plot... Is that all stuff to come, or have some of those things already happened? (Just needed to clarify so I'm not majorly confused later.)

Well I knew that much haha. Was more wondering about the stuff further down; I've only read some of the Soi/Rob rps, so wasn't sure. But yes, answers my question, thanks!

And I didn't notice an issue with anything, but I'll read and think more in depth at home.

I feel like Car/Rob would need to have an absence of RP in order for that confusion about the "need to protect her" comment to set in. If they had no chance to work out their issues and Car just assumed he was doing it out of obligation, and then he just assumed she's being distant because of that awkward meeting, that could be a catalyst for some of the other things to happen.

Then maybe like... a Rob/Thorne RP?

OR OHOHOHOHOH. A Rob/Soi RP set after Soi spies Car with Thorne in which Soi decides she needs to tell him Car's forgotten about him (either out of spite or out of a genuine desire to help him, OR BOTH). And Rob, having been confused and angsty and wondering about everything, will probably go ballistic because he thinks Soi is doing this on purpose --> and what he doesn't realize is that the reason he thinks that is because he thinks she still cares enough about him to ever want to do something like that on purpose (which, I guess, he would be right) BUT the reason he thinks that is probably because he cares about what she's doing and why, which I guess translates into he cares about her? Obvi. (So this could also be the RP where someone ups and walks the eff away).

And THEN Rob/Thorne, and maybe somehow or other Car comes up in their talk? Or her name doesn't get mentioned specifically, but enough gets said that both of them kind of figure out who they're talking about. And Rob's like "............... so it's you." But at this point he'll have had enough time to brood on Soibhan's words to think that she's probably right, and so he'll be even more confused and not sure what all to do about it. Like, is Thorne even the right guy for Car? And is he even in a position to judge or care?

And then eventually, Rob/Car where they finally try to address this bizarrity that's happening?

And then yea, Des/Rob.

LOL and we haven't even gotten to the part where Thorne and Car SHOW UP AT THE SPLINTER CELL and Rob gets these horribly awkward flashbacks and it's all like "THE HELL MAN I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST THIS" but he was so wrong

Oh boy, and when Ed catches wind of Soi's hawk?

"... What are you, stupid??! You STOLE a kingshawk??!!"

Of course, this would all be rhetorical because Ed is already pretty convinced that Soi is an idiot.
