dude, lemme just say.... I love love LOVE code-based ANYTHING! O_O I'm so computer illiterate that if I can have it spelled out for me it makes me feel like it's something that I can actually learn how to do.
like HTML stuff. I still don't know a whole lot about it, but by just working on a few little things at a time, I can learn the HyperText Language pretty easily. smile and I'm the guy who still can't wrap his head around smartphones. xd
trust me, it's alot less scary than ... whatever else programs like that do... if I can edit my own personalized version of a Profile Theme, you can figure out Code. smile

RPGMaker makes extensive use of code too, using Ruby instead of Python. All the default stuff in the scripts tab of an RPGMaker project make up the engine of your game. The coding is just abstracted away until you're left with the event system.

Also, things are getting a bit stressful with my classes reaching finals just as the holidays are starting, so between work, school, and trying to make gifts for my family as well as Foxi's, I've been swamped.
My current list of assignments: Finished 1.5 minute long 3D animation, finished action sequence 2D animation, and a modeled, textured, and lit 3D scene from a video game.
My current list of what I'm making for Christmas gifts: 2 blankets, 2 aprons, 3 pairs of pajama pants, 5 scarves, a (totally baddass medieval style) hip pouch, 2 plushies, a purse/handbag, and something for my sister that has yet to be determined.
As well as working at least 13 hours per week.

Assignments I've completed so far: 80% complete 3D animation, 70% complete 3D environment, 30% complete 2D animation due Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (respectively)

Well, Christmas Eve I'm being forced to attend this stupid Christmas Party that my mother's husband's sister is throwing at her house. And mum is forcing me to "look presentable". Meaning: She wants me to look what she considers "normal" and to "keep my thoughts to myself" because that is wha her husband wants. I looked to him and "******** you!" And bought a suit, and had my tailor Goth it up. I don't know why he suddenly has an issue with how I dress up to these things, but I told him that if he doesn't like it that he can suck my d**k, and hopefully choke on it too. Christmas day mum is throwing a Christmas party of her own, and my brother and his wife are coming over for it. I personally hope to invite some people over and get smashed off my a** for it. XD 'Cause I can't stand parties where I have to plaster on a smile and pretend to be someone I'm not.

I feel like I'm dying a little today. This project I've been working my -ss off on ended yesterday in a fiery grave. Might have failed my class because I just couldn't finish it all, but I did what I could. So to reward myself for giving my all, I slept in until like 11 and even took a nap a few hours later. I've gotten more sleep today than in the last 3 days, and I still feel like I'm gonna lose consciousness any minute. -_______- Thank God for reading days. There's no way I can work like this.

On (lack of) sleep: I overslept today and almost missed my physics final. The previous night was DnD/Pathfinder night and came back home with a feeling kind of like a terrible hangover, except not related to alcohol.
On timing: if I'm not mistaken, your school year started about a week or so later than mine. It sucks, but it makes sense.

That's normally what it's like. Lol And it blows that each year we're forced to buy Christmas presents for those people. Like. . . I'm not the kind of person who gives something just because I have to. I give something because I want to. And if a gift isn't from the heart, I won't give it at all. I used to love this time of year, but now I just kinda dread it BECAUSE of this situation we've been forced into. Whenever I go to the parties, though, I love taking the attention from Scott, mum's husband, and putting it all on me. Oh, but it was fun. I just was feeling shitty from too much social interaction too quickly. razz Next week the group's getting some fudge that Grandma and I made today...assuming everyone else in the house doesn't steal it all by then.
My physics final was hilariously easy because more than half of the problems came from previous exams. At the same time, my prof was excellent and I remembered more from her class than any other.
!!! Misc: I've been obsessed with this game lately. It's a physics sandbox. I've been making simple machines and playing around with stuff. You might have to poke around a bit for Windows and Mac binaries though (at least there's no installing to do).

The fudge is kind of lighter on chocolatey-ness this time around, as we used extra marshmallow fluff and fudged the measurement on the evaporated milk. Still didn't stop me from enjoying the leftover part in the bowl/pan though.
Chemistry: I hope he at least trimmed the number of problems :/
CE is your major though, isn't it? It's not a good idea to take out anger over a single class onto a broad category of stuff. That kind of thing is one of the reasons why American culture snubs science or math (until the reminder that said math and science are behind all the consumer electronics).

No no, Physics. I was just comparing your good professor to my good Chemistry professor from last year.
I love what I do... Just not when it's tied to my grades/scholarships/sleep/etc. It's basically the weed-out class, and I had a really hard time, and the professor/TAs weren't as helpful as they could have been regarding getting out of class help, and I'm exhausted after working as hard as I've ever worked only to still get a bad grade. And I might have to take it again next semester and just ugh and run-on sentences and no more please.
Honestly, I'm leaning to CS. I don't have a real interest in hardware yet, though the classes I've taken haven't been very good representations of hardware due to other semi-bad teachers I'm sure.
I'm so salty and negative right now. Omg.

I've done worse, desperate things for some tail back in the day. XD I'm able to love a person no matter what, buuuut. . . If a person isn't going to take care of themselves, or take care of their environment- like their home- I doubt they're going to want to treat me nice. Y'know?

Even the tiny corner pieces and other scraps of fudge border on 'too much' for me right now, and there's....plenty of it. At least I don't have to worry about it all disappearing any time soon.
I'm running into the same block with Calc II, already ******** up twice and next time I take it I'll have to pay some extra fee that is probably hefty. My final exam in that class will determine whether or not I still benefit from one of my scholarships, but even if I stop qualifying I think I still have a Pell grant and a state grant to coast off of for next semester.
I didn't realize it until my counselor brought it up, but my current 'track' is actually meant for CE, not CS, yet the college lumps them into the same category since they can't really make a distinction in the earlier courses. I'm not a hardware person at all. When/if I transfer I'll probably get into a proper CS program. The local university has CS+Astronomy, which I've given a huge consideration, but I'm also able to do custom stuff like CS+Psychology if I really wanted to.
