Lex chuckled, grinning roughly at Corbin and scrapped his hair from his face. “Nooo, I just don’t like bird pokemon in general. Fliers… I prefer ghost pokemon, bats, dragons. No birds.” He pulled out a few feathers from his hair before scooping up his Cottonee.

He glanced over to the side, grinning lightly. “Glad you made it! Bit more scratched up, but you look okay.” Actually, Lex glanced around at the others in the balloon and gave a soft pleased noise. They had common sense; the large fox pokemon had been recalled. Pair of Riolu, but the canine types were small so they were tolerable at the moment. He paused, lifting up a hand, green chlorophyll and sap smeared on his fingers.

“Busted a leaf vein,” he replied and gently stroked over the delicate appendages searching for the scratches. “Looks like it mostly gummed over…” Hollin had gotten rather scratched up but he was surrounded in cotton fluff and that had absorbed most of the damage.

Escaping the attacking pidgey's, Sabre caught his breath once he got into the safety of the balloon. But his eyes were all on Anja, looking her over to make sure she hadn't suffered any heavy blows from those offensive birds. Looking at his own cut arms, he took note that they weren't that deep, or serious at all. More so just annoying, like a paper cut. Breath steadied, he reached down to rub along the houndoom's head, Anja's eyes closing gently from the affection.

Genesis returned the bag securely on her back once the two had replied, surprised, though far from disappointed, to see both Anise and the scraped trainer seemed to be healers. It looked as if their group were forming up to be a competent one -- even more so when a Houndoom and her trainer joined them. Things didn't seem so bad now -- except, of course, for the fact that they were too far off the ground.

Knowing there were more skilled healers available, she refrained from offering her own services, though she dug around her pockets for a few berries in case they'd be needed.

Her eyes narrowed when she saw the captain appear on his Dragonite, though she thanked him and the Pokémon warmly for their help in speeding up the process. Before long, they were airborne once more.

"I wonder why the Pidgey attacked the ship," she wondered aloud.

Ajax looked at Aaron, head cocked, as if curious about his timidity. Hoping to serve as an example, he stepped out once again -- only to stumble when the balloon suddenly rose and crash into another.

Anise nodded at Cai and scooted over to look at the wound. She pulled out a bit of clean cloth, wet it from a water bottle, and carefully wiped off the blood. "It's a bit long, but not very deep. Overall not serious, head wounds just tend to bleed a lot," she observed. Cai likely knew this, being a healer himself, but she was accustomed to talking her patients through what she was doing. Especially since most of her patients were pokemon, and sometimes a calm voice did wonders for keeping them steady while she treated them.

She pressed the cloth to the wound (not too hard, since she didn't want to push Cia over) as she rummaged in her bag with one hand. She pulled out a bottle of antiseptic, an Oran berry salve, some gauze and medical tape. "I'm just going to apply an antiseptic. This is going to sting a little bit," she chattered as she wet a bit of cause with the liquid. Then she dabbed that onto the cut, making sure to cover the whole thing. "This should feel better," she continued as she spread on a thin layer of the salve. She finished by pressing a square of gauze over the cut and securing it with a couple strips of medical tape.

"Unfortunately it's too long for a conventional adhesive bandage, so we'll have to use gauze and tape. Once it scabs over you can remove the gauze if you like." She glanced over the sandy landscape outside the balloon and added, "Though if much sand gets blown around, you may want to leave it on to help keep it clean."

As she surveyed the landscape, another feathered form flitted past and she almost cringed. Was that another Pidgey? It looked like the balloons had left them behind, but it they were coming back...

“Mmhm,” Lex broke off a bit of bagel and offered it to his Cottonee and looked over to Cai. “Ooh, thanks.” He smiled sweetly, taking the potion and tended his Pokémon. The potion worked wonders, soothing the broken vein and superficial scratches. Lex dabbed a bit on the scratches on his cheek. If it was good enough for his Pokémon, it was good enough for him.

Hollin squirmed out of his trainer’s lap and slowly crept over to the pair of Pokémon hiding behind Corbin.

As Anise packed up her supplies, she belatedly reacted to Corbin's comment. "A basket full of healers?" she glanced around, wondering who else was one. "Oh dear. I kind of wish I'd gotten in another balloon, then. It was kind of hard to see where I was going to I jumped in the first basket I could find." She glanced around to check on the other balloons. They seemed to be floating along well enough, and a bit of a breeze made theirs bob in the air slightly.

Lex made sure his hands were clean before passing a slightly smashed bagel over to Eliza was it? "Bit smashed, but they should taste alright." He looked over at Cai. "Bagel? Fruit? Just grabbed apples and bananas since they travel the best." He had debated on citrus but they were a bit messier.

Hollin fluttered gleeful and tucking himself rolled towards the canine pokemon with a cheerful peep. He peered up, rustling his leaves.
