Laoise's eyes dropped to the slices and she tipped her head, considering them for a long moment before her attention turned back up to Pen's face.

"Wish it, and it will happen, but you will likely ruin your shirt." It was offered easily, not terribly concerned by the problem; she rolled one little kitty shoulder in a shrug straightening to stand and arch her back. "They'll heal quickly, at least."

"Not that worried about my shirt, really," Penthesilea replied, and then she took a breath and wished herself back into being Jeanne - which felt like a mistake, really, because she never wanted to let go of the way being a Senshi made her feel.

"Hey, miss cat - thank you," she said, because it seemed appropriately polite to thank the one that had finally handed her something she hadn't realized she was missing.

Laoise's reply was a low noise -- that turned, almost thoughtlessly, into a rumbling purr. This was a nice change from the usual, and it brought down her hackles, settled her down. She liked this girl, she thought. She could work with this one.

"If you need more help..." Lee hesitated. Had she ever made this offer before? No, with Sisyphus it was mostly showing up and butting her nose in, not directing people to her home. "You live here? I can come by once a week or so, it's on the route."

"I'd like that," Jennie agreed. "I don't live here, but I'm here most nights, so I'll keep an eye out for you." More interactions with the cat, more direction towards what to do and how to do it - oh yes, this was everything she needed.

The redhead turned to go back inside through the service entrance, to reassure her mother and everyone else that she was alright, if a little bloodied up. "I'll see you next week, then, ma'am." She'd never ma'amed a cat before, but it seemed completely appropriate here. And besides, even if she wasn't always courteous, some people just deserved it.
