I've added a new rule to this forum that I'm going to enforce now. All topics need to have a relevant thread title. In other words, make sure the reader will have some idea of what your topic is about before they click on the thread link.
Just a precaution to make sure things don't get confusing around here...
Any titles that do not follow this rule shall be changed accordingly.

Update:
All restrictions on what you can discuss in this forum have been lifted. Talk about anything you like, could be harry potter, could be movies, books, jello... I like jello, Gaia, could be how awesome your car is, your job, antidisestablishmentarianism. Anything goes!
Just make sure you follow the rules.
Have fun! 3nodding

Rule Update:
A new rule has been added to the bottom of the list.
If you're wondering just how controversial you can get with a subject, now you know.
Have fun, kids.

I make sure that people follow the rules. Basically I just lurk the forum alot skimming through all the active threads making sure nobody is causing trouble or spamming.
I don't care about big amounts of chat so long as they don't stray too far from the subject.

Rule Update:
Oops! Looks like there's an unsung rule I forgot about.Quote: arrow Please avoid reviving old threads that haven't been posted on in a month or so. This is the only time you are allowed to create a repeat thread. This helps to keep the discussions fresh, so that 50 page long topics don't confuse anybody.

How do we know if a topic is old before we start a new discussion of it?

If the topic has fallen off the first page and/or it hasn't been posted in for months, you should start anew.
Basically anything where the discussion's been dead for a while.
