:: I always wanted to voice in abridged series, is it hard?oh gosh no voice acing in them is really fun but recreating certen voices can be hard. I play the girl in most of the abridged series he does...er- I mean I play like the red haired girl in 11 eyes and the short green haired girl from baka and test and I play merry in dream eater merry. I would love too hear ur voice if u voice act! fandubs and abridged series are more fun with more people :33 I mean if pdragion let u join the group thing..but yea I would love too hear ur voice :33 no abridged series are definently not more fun with more people, because that's more people I have to wait on before I can get stuff done, hell the only reason the Halloween episode isn't out right now is because one person won't get their damn lines in.

I'm totally jelly of all of you. my drawing ability is meh, all I got is my imagination, I take out my lack of artist ability to make cool roleplay set ups....
I gotta ask how do you even get started in voice acting for the stuff you guys do?

I gotta ask how do you even get started in voice acting for the stuff you guys do?
me and my friend where like "we should make an abridged series!" and then we did. Starting out wasn't the hard part, and like I said voice acting isn't very difficult either, you get a microphone and audacity and your set, it's all the other stuff like writing and editing that's hard, atleast in my opinion. Then again I suppose it's easy to say that kinda thing after you've already figured it out. Honestly I was fortunate because I took both video production classes and was in the theatre department for most of high school, so I already knew how to act and edit video, the hard part for me was just buying all the equipment and software.

::: Just tell me what to do well first of all you'd need to have a decent microphone, Audacity which is a free audio editing software, a facebook I could reach you at, and a skype account so I could go over your lines with you and give you direction. Though more than anything I'd need to know you where reliable and I could depend on you to get your lines in on time, because I can tell you right now I can't say that about a good deal of the people I work with, and it irritates the hell out of me to have to wait weeks on end for ONE person to get their lines in. That's what alot of people don't really get, even though it's just a small fan made project, it's still a commitment, and if you aren't willing or able to put aside an hour or two every few weeks to get stuff recorded, then there's no point in joining in the first place.

Oh they are adorable! heart It's way better than what I can do, which is nothing because I can't draw to save my life... I do Make Amvs! Lip Syncand Simple music ones...Some are better than others, but I love making these emotion_yatta

This whole thread makes me wish I was talented at stuff. I do some photography and make music. Although, I have been wanting to do a radio play forever so it's good to know we gotta voice actor in the houzz. Deviant art page
