There was more excitement this round. As the bids came in, the handler walked the mare to make sure that everyone could see her well. Raised on the business, Tristan had no problem taking the bids and controlling the crowd. While he spent much of his time running the ever growing business, he still enjoyed the auction.

Again, the bids climbed higher and higher and more and more people began to find that not even their considerable bank accounts could afford a horse from Collinwoods. He had a reputation for having incredibly desirable horses that made sure that those who knew they wanted a quality horse came to him to procure one.
He had the handler come to the front and the mare stood, posture perfect, in front of his podium.

The auction came to a close when only one man was willing to meet the bid! Smiling, Tristan nodded at the man. "And sold!"

It was later now, but the auction house was still milling with people. Tristan surveyed the crowd calmly as he waited for the stallion to be brought in. When the handler was ready, he stepped up to the podium and began to speak as the stallion was walked around. "Now we have a bay stallion. His personality is perfect for the race and he would be a great addition to anyone's stable!"
He waited for the audience to get a good look at the stallion before begin the auction.
