He smiled to himself at the macho trip the Death member was giving. "You act more like a Sun than a Death member." He commented, standing up to go check on the exit wound.
With a new cleaning bandage pad, he went over and started to pull off the other.
"I didn't know Death Meetings could be that interesting. I guess with the superiors you have, I'd get it." He only knew of one really to avoid. "Which one pinned you like a butterfly?"

"You think so?" Al perked up. It was almost like Melvin just gave him the greatest compliment.
"Suns got to have ******** stickers. AND candy." He looked disappointed for a moment. "I don't know but he had cool hair."

"Wait, Sun gets candy and stickers?" He frowned. "Their meetings actually sound enjoyable." Life meetings were strictly business, and while he was glad to get funding, it made you a nervous mess.
"Death Supervior. Stabs you. Cool hair. Sounds like Caelius. That guy is an a*****e who sees all hunters are workers he can easily replace and easily trash. He's crazy as hell." He wiped away the exit wound and then took off 1 pair of gloves, now left with a clean pair. He tossed the dirty gloves in the metal tin.
He then pressed a clean bandage pad on the exit wound and taped it in place before moving back in front of him to do the same to his front. " You like the Suns?"

At least this conversation was thoroughly distracting him from what Melvin was doing.
"It looked like so much fun." Al was gushing. But then his high wavered slightly. "I believe it. I mean. I was just looking at the suns and helping them find candy by pointing. This was my punishment for that." He hissed as that reminded him that Melvin was tending to it and that yes it hurt.
"I think the suns are amazing."

"Don't let candy and their spontaneous attitude distract you too much. They have their faults like any other division. Each person has their own, but overall they lack a lot of control. We've had many people sent to this Infirmary because they couldn't control their temper and turned it on their own teammates. They also talk big, but they need a lot of support."
He pressed a new bandage on the entry wound and taped that in place. He pulled free a new bandage, and holding the roll, started to wrap Al back up. "But they are good in their intentions, for as sloppy as they are going about it." He said, having a certain Sun in mind. "My best friend is a Sun."

"He is? So is mine. What's your sun's name?" He decided to ignore any downer talk on suns. All of them have been awesome so far. Except America. Every group has one, he supposed.

"Oh, a Sun named WIlliam Reid, but he goes by Rep." He informed him. "You'd be able to spot him a mile away. I think he's one of the few red-heads on the island." Due to bandaging, he had to move in close to wrap his arms around Al and start wrapping his chest.

"Rep? That's my sun too!" Wow, Rep really does get around.
He immediately tensed up and went stiff as a board as Melvin like... hugged... to... he wasn't another one of those friends, was he?

"Rep is rather friendly to everyone, unless you piss him off. Then he throws a fit, but he's one of the first hunter's I've met, and I think one of the main people I talk to." Melvin wasn't really paying attention to Al's discomfort, taking it as him just being a bit tense from being hurt.
He continued to wrap the bandages about his body, making sure the bandages set right and were covering everything while still leaving Al the ability to breath and move.

Except, he didn't breathe or move. At all. He was horrified into dead stillness.

Melvin paused, his hands hovering, as he looked up. "Are you okay? Did I make the bandages too tight on you?" He reached out, touching the bandages to see if they were indeed suffocating the Death member.

Al looked relieved as his hands backed off. Then squeak nope all over again as he touched the bandages to check them.
"Can you just... like... ugh... not do that a minute, okay?"

Melvin leaned back, looking at him as if he just spoke German to him. "Do what now? Are you going to throw up or something?" He looked around for a trash can just in case.
