IosefKoranison Ah. Yeah, not loving something sucks if you have to take a class about it. But when the class is boring on top of it it's so much worse. Alright. Don't let me forget! XD In a couple weeks I might.
Telling someone who can't remember what they had for lunch yesterday not to forget something? Pfft, yeah, that'll work. xd

Mom had a minor stroke (she's mostly fine, just has some difficulty with equilibrium and emotions) so she's been out of work. The short-term disability isn't quite enough. But we at least have the money we need for food and bills and such. Just not much else.

Eesh, that's rough. But at least she's okay.
But yeah, I know the feeling (about bills and stuff). My uncle used to live with my mother and I and used to help with the bills, but because of his own laziness he had to move out and go into assisted living (it's a long, depressing story) so he's not paying those bills anymore... Now it's just my mother and I and we're barely making it. And then things just keep happening that we can't afford-- cats getting sick, car problems, and some other stuff.
Not to mention that the bulb in the television only lasts for about two years and guess what? It's been two years, so it's starting to fizzle out, making the screen get darker and darker until it finally goes out. The damn bulb is $200 alone so how we're going to swing that I have no idea-- and I'm sure it's going to go out any day. I'm surprised it's lasted this long...

I'm sure that there probably is. I'm not sure what off the top of my head, though... I'm drawing a blank on places to go or things to do...

I don't get out much so I don't really know what there is to do here in Portland. I'm sure there's a bunch of great things, I've seen all kinds of crazy stuff downtown. Once I was on my way to Powell's and I walked by this little place that was just CHOCK FULL of all kinds of new and old action figures and toys. Anime, comic books, video games. You might not even see it if you were driving or riding a bike past it. It was so small.

Neat. That place sounds awesome. Wonder what it was called? Sounds like it would be right up my alley... like when the Clackamas mall had the Star Wars Store. O-o-oh man that place was awesome... And terrible at the same time. Awesome for my geeky self, terrible for my wallet. sweatdrop How I miss that place...
Admittedly, I don't get out too much either, and when I do it's pretty much to the places I usually hit: Target, Walmart, Toys 'R Us, Michaels, the occasional Home Depot or Lowes for costume-making supplies, and sometimes the Halloween Warehouse. And sometimes HobbyTown USA or Tammie's Hobbies to see what they have in their Gundam stock, but I haven't done that in a few months...
