Oh, and does anybody else get strange looks when they talk about Anita Blake in public? Lol, should have seen the look on this girl's face the other day in my English class when my friend and I started talking about Jean-Claude. . .
YES! lol, I've gotten 5 others hooked so far. My brother, and 4 other friends. Me and 2 others will fight over Jean-Claude, Asher, Jason, and Nathaniel (we used to fight over Richard until he cut his hair!!) in the school hallway! We'd be jumping up and down and doing the little screech and screams while pointing out how good they look and ppl will be looking at us all weird. lol, but it's fun.
Before I got my last friend hooked, I used to tell her how hot Jean-Claude was!!!! (that's what kinda made her want to read the first one...besides the fact that I told her there was good action in it).
Sometimes, I'll read my brother parts of the book and when they go into detail about Jean-Claude, I swoon and make goggly faces while my voice gets dramatic and he rushes me to get throught it already. lol. fun, what fun.
As far as ppl talking to me out of the blue about the books....b/c of the new (well the NEWEST) covers, I've gotten stares and gasps as they pick the book up. That's why I prefer to leave the book face back side up most of the time at school and I try to keep them in my room at home...my parents wouldn't deem the covers as appropriate for my brothers to see...even though one of them reads them.
