"Quit your whining," the unicorn answered, still trying to stifle his smirk. "It's just a little water. It won't kill you."
On second thought...maybe it would have. Why did flutters have to be so small and delicate? It'd seemed he'd almost drowned Paper with that little wash. He stepped back and turned his head to the side as the other colt shook off the water, both in an attempt to keep from getting wet himself and to hide his quiet snickers.
"Hm. I guess it's already too dry to be washed away, then," Truths concluded, doing his best to sound composed and confident once more. "Time for Plan B." Nudging a soggy Paper Lantern back into the school house, he brusquely urged him back indoors by guiding him from behind. Bringing up the rear was also advantageous because the flutter was less likely to see the deviously amused smirk on his face.Astraea Pandora ((Sorry for the wait! Kitomyx No problem! I hope your holidays were good! Paper was grumpy and soggy and made no protest as Truth's push him back into the school house, at least in there it would be warmer. He stood near the door, shaking his legs once at a time, trying to flick some of the water out of his fur. "What's Plan B then..." he said annoyed, shaking some water out of his black mane.

"Weren't you listening?" Behind Paper's back, Truths had already gone to fetch something and had returned with it almost immediately. "We're going to see if we can unstick your wing by sticking it to something else. I don't want to risk damage to it, so I might as well do it myself."
At least he could determine just how sticky the glue was if he used his own hoof. Applying the adhesive, he pressed it carefully against the flutter's wing before Paper had time to protest or object. "Just a minute," he said, counting the seconds for the glue to set as he mentally questioned this particular method of his.
Not only was he getting himself dirty, but fighting fire with fire - or, rather, glue with glue in this case - didn't seem like the smartest thing to do and it nagged at the back of his mind. Still what other options did they have? He didn't hear Paper coming up with any bright ideas.Astraea Pandora ((They were indeed, if busy. "No I'm sorry I must have had some water in my....what are you doing..." Paper had had his back hoof up to his ear, lightly pawing some water out of it when Truths approached him and pressed his hoof against his wing. He was confused at first. "Sticking..what...? I don't think.." It was far too late by the time what Truth's had done had sunk into Paper's brain. "Truths..did you just...glue your hoof to my wing...?" Kitomyx I can't complain for sure! Glad you're back around, was getting a little worried you'd dropped of the earth! I missed you and Truths!

"I mentioned it before the water," Truths informed Paper, though he seemed to have said so more to distract the flutter than anything else. Panic was not an option right now.
"Relax. It's not as bad as you make it sound," he told him, though mentally he was trying to convince himself as much as he was Paper. "I'm going to try to lift it off now, okay? But gently. Just...stay calm, will you?"
Carefully, slowly, the vermillion colt attempted to pull his hoof away from Paper's tiny body and, with it, Paper's wing. He hadn't counted on the stickiness of the glue, though, and found the task to be a little more difficult than he'd originally anticipated.
Setting the glue bottle down, he attempted to hold Paper still with his other hoof before trying again to pull the glued one free. All that happened was he lost balance, slipped, and fell, pulling the smaller colt down with him.
"Paper...don't panic, but...I may have made a small mistake..." he confessed quietly.Astraea Pandora ((So sorry. ^_^; Family demands a lot of time, especially around the holidays, and they hate it when I'm on the computer. Can't stay away for long, though~! I missed you and Paper as well! As well as the rest of our little Foal Friends group. XD))

Paper blinked his large golden eyes slowly. He looked between himself and Truths, their various limbs tangled up in odd angles. Truth's hoof was starting to push painfully in side. His mouth twitched and he felt a tickling in his chest. "H...h..h..hee hee.." it started bubbling out of him and before he knew it, Paper was laughing so hard tears streaked down his cheek. "Oh..g..gosh Truths.." the words were broken up with laughter. "H..how did you figure gluing your hoof to..to.." he couldn't continue the thought. Just the idea that Truth's had thought this was the wisest action possible was too much. Paper was in hysterics. Kitomyx No worries! I'm just glad your around again! I can't wait to see Smooth around now as well!

Truths blinked. Oookay...perhaps Paper had swallowed a little too much water or hit his head a little too hard or something. When Paper spoke, though, the tone of Truths' reply was once again indignant. "W-well, what would you have done?!" he cried, trying to get a grip on the situation while accounting for each of his tangled limbs.
"Ngh...just...give me a minute," he said, trying to think with Paper's laughter ringing in his ears. With a mighty heave of effort, he lurched forward to right them both so they were, for the most part, back on their hooves. Something wasn't right, though. There was a small tug on his short mane as he stood and the weight remained as whatever it was fell lightly against his shoulders. Truths groaned.
"...Please don't tell me there's a glue bottle stuck in my mane." He couldn't see it, of course, but his previously slicked-back silver-gray hair was sticking every which way, some portions glued in clumps.Astraea Pandora ((Me too! <3 And I can't wait to see Valkyrie~ Haha, but I know I'm not the only one.))

Paper tried to get ahold of himself, working with Truth's to get themselves back on their hooves more or less. At Truth's prompting, Paper craned his neck around to check his friends mane and couldn't contain himself. "PPFTTTT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.." Paper howled. "T..the bottle of glue is..stuck to your mane..Oh gosh..that'll..that'll be a mess to get out!" he started to laugh again. "I'm..I'm sorry Truths but..but.." he burst into giggles. "I think..I think we need..to get an adult.." the bottle of glue in Truth's mane seemed to be still leaking its' contents all over the unicorn. Taking a deep breath and wiping laugh tears out of his eyes. "We..we can go see my mom.." Kitomyx Ah I'm super excited for Valkyrie too! Plus when this RP is over, Paper will be ready to grow to old enough, I'm extra excited for that, my first rp'd growing!

"...I asked you not to tell me," he hissed, by now too worn out to even get all that angry. Thus, he didn't have to heart to argue when Paper came up with a suggestion of his own. As a phony with no parents nor family of his own, adult assistance wasn't the first thought that came to Truths' mind when things got difficult.
But then the real implications of Paper's hit him. "We can't go to your mother!" he objected. "What if your brother's there? I - we - won't ever live it down if he sees us!" Ugh, that glue was starting to drip down onto his back. He shivered involuntarily.Astraea Pandora ((Oh, really?! I had no idea! That's awesome! Especially because Truths is my first phony, Acid Beat is Unity's, and Mooncake is Cursed's! Hehe, Paper will be able to catch up to Moon. XD
Oh, speaking of...I don't know if you saw, but in Truth's purpose rp with Moon, Moon just mentioned that Paper thought Moon liked Truths at one point. Lol, Truths was not amused and plans to have a talk with Paper. Might be kind of awkward for him if the next time he sees Paper, he's Old Enough too.
Also, I wanted to ask...I was going to start an rp with Truths and Jolly Roger and I know that in a thread rp, Paper mentioned to Truths that he really liked Jolly. Would you be okay with Truths mentioned that to Jolly, or would you rather him not?))

"Ow! Hey! Stop relax.." Paper wriggled, his wing getting yanked quite uncomfortably. "Mooncake isn't even home anymore..he grew up remember? The worst you might see is my sister Rice Candy! It's..ow! it's fine if we go to my mom, I promise! And the sooner we go the better or we're both gonna be stuck to the floor until Miss Glory finds us on Monday!" Kitomyx It'd be funny for Truths to have that kind of chat with Paper as an adult. Paper won't really be changing much, just as cloud headed and silly, just with a bigger body, so he'd prolly take the whole thing just as he would as a colt! And sure, you could mention it, though Jolly knows it was in the spirit of friendship because Paper and Jolly are great friends! But feel free if you like! Frankly, it's Cirrus who is being plotted towards a possible romance!

"Ah...right," Truths murmured. "Not sure that's much better, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers..." The idea of their twinkle-eyed teacher finding them there the following school day wiped all doubts from the unicorn's mind. "Good point. Let's go." He moved to take a step forward before remembering he only had three legs to work with and almost fell over again. It was going to be some trip to Paper's house. "I hope you don't live too far from here..."Astraea Pandora ((Hehe, aww. XD That would be funny indeed. And I can't wait to see Paper grown!

"Further then you're gonna like.." Paper said and slowly started to walk, attempting to keep a pace that didn't involve Truth's falling over and dragging himself onto the ground too. -tiny little timeskip, hope ya don't mind- Paper banged on the service door of the shop. He hadn't wanted to go in through the front in case there were customers and he didn't want to knock down any displays with their bumbling. They'd fallen repeatedly on the way there and not only were stuck in glue but coated in dirt. Silk Kimono opened the door. "Honestly Paper, did you forget your key ag..." the flutter phony stopped mid word and looked between the two colts. Covering a smile and a snerk with her hoof, she waved them in. "I'm not sure what's happened here, but I want to hear all about it later. Let's get you boys in a hot bath. Paper show uhm..your friend here to the bathroom. I'll get the bath ready while you guys get upstairs." She giggled a little and flitted up to the second floor, the sound of water soon running. "We go up the stairs and the 2nd on the left.." Paper said wearily. "Let's try not to fall down them.."Kitomyx Yes we've gotten home, now to sit in a tub and tell Silk Kimono all about our no good horrible very bad day

"I can't imagine you'll be enjoying it much more; especially if you're used to flying home," Truths murmured, though did his best to keep up. He was sure neither of them wanted to be stuck as they were for any longer than they had to. Still, he had to be somewhat grateful to Paper Lantern for his offer to ask his mother for assistance. As Truths didn't even have a mother, he wasn't sure where he would have gone or what he would have done otherwise.
Eventually, the flutter and the (very cranky) unicorn arrived at Paper's home. He didn't object when he was led around the back. He would have been far too humiliated to be seen by anyone in that state anyway. He couldn't even look Silk Kimono in the eye when she opened the door. What a first impression he must have made.
With what seemed like the millionth sigh, Truths grunted in agreement before doing his best to walk in tandem with Paper. One thing was for sure - if they ever tried out for a six or seven-legged race, the unicorn was fairly sure by that time that he and the flutter would have won with ease.Astraea Pandora ((LOL I love that book. Pushing open the bathroom door, Paper could have cried when he saw his mother had run a bathtub full of warm water and already added his favorite bath treat, Happy Hot Water Soap Smell. It was something they imported from Japan solely for family use, a additive to the water that made it a little soapy and smell like bamboo (or roses, as his mother and Rice liked). Silk Kimono hummed softly as she assisted the two boys into the bath and began to help them unstick and clean up. She first doused both boys down with water followed by a thick soap. She dropped a hot, damp towel over Paper's back, pulling it up to about half way Truth's stuck foreleg. While the two colts soaked, Silk gently massaged a shampoo into Truth's mane, making sure to keep the thick suds away from his eyes. Her first part of her work done, the flutter mare rinsed off her hooves and sat down next to the tub. "So boys...tell me about your day..." Silk asked, an amused smile on her face. Kitomyx I think the suggestion to make them stuck to each other made this rp so much richer! It was brilliant! Also you called Paper Mooncake in the first paragraph.

Hard Truths blinked and sniffed curiously at the foreign fragrance as he entered the room after Paper. Was that special stuff that would take off the glue, or just bubble bath solution? He didn't feel especially inclined to ask, feeling enough like a fool as it was.
The unicorn felt a little odd to be taking a bath (especially one as fragrant, luxurious, and bubbly as this one) with another foal, but Paper seemed used to it, so he did not complain. Perhaps he took them often with his brother and sister.
There was another strange sensation as Silk washed them down. Truths had only ever given himself a bath before, after all, just as he did everything by himself. It was kind of weird having a mother-figure help them, but at the same time Truths thought it was kind of nice.
He was sure it was more than just the hot water that was heating him up when the flutter mare shampooed his mane, careful about his eyes. Was this what a mother's tender loving care was like? He couldn't help but be a bit envious of Paper, Moon, and Rice.
Taking a deep breath, Truths began with how they had both been assigned to clean up after school and how Paper had decided to make a project while they were in the middle of it. Then he talked about how they had tried to clean up and things got a little more out-of-hoof. It began to get a little embarrassing there and he looked to the blue colt to see if he wanted to contribute to or continue the story.Astraea Pandora ((Ack, sorry about mixing them up! Fixed!
