Maoh leaned back in the seat at his desk on the airship. The crew had left the docking station in Seraca hours ago and was now at docking in Daila. He was torn between immediately pursuing Rhaplanca or finding another way in the Eve of Reyvateils. Either way he was heading to Daila first to pay his newly demoted colleague a visit.

Renove


Renove stepped into the room to announce their arrival, "I gotta say, I never thought I'd set foot back in Daila. Boy, yer lucky you're like kin ta me," Renove sighed.

Snow

"You were never hardy enough for this place," Snow scoffed, "It has always conjured up some sort of entertainment for me," She looked out the window to her home town, memories of poverty and thieving surfaced in her mind, "I think I'll go for the supplies run this time," She said as she left.

"What could she possible need? I all but cleared out the shops in Seraca to stock this ship," Maoh said flatly as he rose from the desk.

Renove sighed, "She's not running for anything, boy," Renove sat on the couch across from Maoh, "No doubt she's visiting her mother's grave," Renove stroked his beard with a solemn look, "I've never cared for this place, especially after I met her."

"I see," Maoh said as he watched Snow from the window as she disappeared down an alley, "I won't be long," was all he could say to break the silence as he left.

"You can take your time," Renove called after him, "I know she will..." the last part was to himself.



Inside the C.P.G. headquarters Maoh simply made a bee line for Naomi's office with a thick report in his hand. He pushed past the incredulous looks of the staff, he obviously wasn't seen much here. He didn't bother to knock as he entered and shut the door behind him. He locked the door and strolled right over to her desk, "I will start by stating that I have known your intentions for the F.P.D.'s and the Fau Pira regarding it as an energy source," he spoke cryptically as flopped the report down on her desk with a heavy thud. At first it was as if he was going to report her but then he announced his resignation "The C.P.G. has run out of it's usefulness to me so I will hand this over to you . In it are theories that could succeed in using the Fau Pira as the new, more stable power source to keep Fa Ciel afloat," he added less ominous tone, "I have constructed these theories myself, using C.P.G. data that was not 'on record'. The President really couldn't have made it easier for me," He gloated, "I am heading to the Eve of Reyvateils as we speak to retrieve the final component: the transfer source code for the tower. Should you find this to be in your interest to pursue, you will find someway to find me."

The elder twin felt bad, but with Aaron helping her sister, Mana figured she could pass them up. "I'm going on ahead Aaron, Miko!" She said, weaving her way around them. "Be careful!" She called back and continued on her way up the Tower.

Ishira kept pace with Gannon the best he could, minus the lag he allowed himself to keep close to Rhaplanca, "Right behind you," he called up to Gannon, "Rhaplanca, stay close and be prepared to fire away some red magic," he said over his shoulder, "Hikari, you okay with backing Rhaplanca up?"







"Got it," she responded while keeping an impressive pace. An excitement came over her as a a particular song magic in mind tingled her lips.

"Data on...?" Her expression took on one of surprise. This is partially some of the lost data I've been looking for! He must have risked so much getting this information to me. But why...? She nodded to the man before her. "I must admit that I've misjudged you. I do need to take this some place safe. I will be able to research more on it somewhere else. I will do everything I can to make sense of it and we will see each other again very soon, I'm sure. Thank you. And... good luck." She picked up the hefty load of files and paperwork, cradling it in her arms as a lifeline and watching him leave.

"Yes, of course!" Hikari responded to Ishira, casting a nervous glance over to Rhaplanca. A midst the worry, fear and panic for Melody, she felt ashamed, but she had to admit to herself that she was getting excited to be able to sync up with Rhaplanca finally and sing with her. She only wished it were under better circumstances. "As soon as you give Rhaplanca word to start singing, I will match my emotions to hers and help sustain the Song," she reassured them with a confident nod of her head. "We need to hurry to Melody's Inn! We have to warn her!"

all of a sudden a woman burst in the bar of the inn and ordered everyone to get down. Isis thought to her self can't even have a drink in peace she did as the woman ordered and got on the ground soliders started to fill the room. isis waited until the woman turned her back and started to take out the soliders one at a time first by freezing their feet and than the rest of them they'll be dead in a couple seconds

Melody wasn't going to be fooled. She pointed back to the thundering footsteps echoing through the tunnels. "Then why would you need to storm this place? Why would you need to hunt us down like a dog!?" She demanded. "Yes, Tessia died. You're not her! As much as I would have wanted her to survive that, I know that she didn't! I don't know who you are, but I knew Tess..." Tears sprang from her eyes. "Neither of you are anything alike!" She cried out at the woman standing in front of her. It made her angry. This woman stormed through her family's beloved Inn with Tessia's face. Her voice. But with a completely twisted, grotesque persona. What in the world had happened? How had it come to this? Melody was confused, but more than that she was upset.

Had the CPG done something to Tessia's body? Made a clone, completely altered from her original self? Or had she really died? No... she had died, Melody had seen... She shook her head, unable to believe what she was seeing, but unable to explain it, either.

Fearing that they were getting too far behind, Aaron turned to Miko. "Sorry 'bout this," he spoke before lifting her in a bridal carry. "Just hold onto me, okay?" He held the young woman close to him, running the rest of the way up the stairs to join the others. He then set her down, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Which way is the inn, Miko?" He asked her.
