Ridley was so excited, he was actually disappointed when he only found a rock. He looked at the item, tempted to just throw it away, but soon just changed his mine. "I guess it could come in handy." He said with a huff, putting the rock away.

Ridley ventured on, still looking for these Slugmas. He's never seen one before, so hopefully he could identify one if and when he ran into one. He paused momentarily. Was he supposed to just find three Slugma or fight them? He honestly couldn't remember and now felt silly, hoping he didn't do something wrong.

Oh... another rock. He huffed a bit and stuffed it away. He then had a thought, but soon shook it off. It was silly, rocks being Slugma eggs. He wouldn't even be able to comprehend how that would work.

Ridley ventured to the next area yet again. He had to wonder how many rooms he explored so far and how many were left. He hoped he wasn't lost as he looked around, there were so many tunnels, how was he sure he could find the exit.
That thought will come up again later, right now, he needed to find those Slugmas. If he didn't do it this round, he'll just go through this again... either until he succeeds or until his guild takes the quest down.

Woah... what's that?! Is that a Slugma? He sure hoped so, it sure looked like a Slug, it also looked like the pools of lava around him. It had to be one! With a happy bark, he charged toward the Pokemon

Ridley doesn't think that will be accepted by the guild for the quest. He watched as the Slugma fled from the battle as fast as its oozing body allowed it too. He sighed, shaking his head and pressing on.

Moving forward, Ridley hoped he kept running into these Slugma. Well, not cowardly ones like the one he had just ran into. Well, now that he thought about it, he didn't want to run into really strong Slugma either. Fixing his scarf, the Riolu proceeded with searching the surroundings.

Oh, another Vial of... oh wait. This wasn't a vial of water. He lifted the bottle closer to his nose to get a better look at it. Its contents seemed to be constantly shifting about inside the vial. It was more like a vial of smoke. Interesting.

After stashing the vial, Ridley ran down the next tunnel he saw and into the next area it lead to. He felt that he was getting closer to the exit of the dungeon. It didn't seem as warm where he was, probably because of the wind that was coming through the tunnels from the exit.
That meant there was less chances for him to complete this quest. But it wasn't all bad. If he didn't complete it, it meant more chances and more adventures when he did it again.

A snort escaped from the Riolu when there was nothing to find in this area. Not even a rock. He just tsked and moved on.

Moving down another tunnel into another area, Ridley looked around hopefully. "Sluggy, sluggy, sluggy!" He sing-songed, looking for any sign of the gooey lava slug.
He had to be careful though. Being so intent in finding these Slugma, he might accidentally run into another Pokemon and not be prepared for it. That would be just his luck, but he was sure he could take them.

Well, no Slugma or other Pokemon, but at least there was something useful here. He picked up the vial and brought it up close to make sure the contents were what he thought they were. Yep, another vial of water. He can explore Mt. Ferros some more later.

Putting the vial away, he casually walked down the next tunnel. It was less likely now that he will run into any more Slugma, let alone, three of them, by the time he reached the exit. He would be pleasantly surprised if he did, but there was no guarantee that he would defeat them then. He would be determined to do it, of course, but odds don't seem stacked in his favor.

Another Cheri berry for his collection. He squeezed it a bit before putting it away. If he didn't need it in a dungeon, he could always get a pie made out of it or something.

Even if he was getting closer to the exit of the dungeon, Ridley was still just as excited as he was when he first entered. He hoped he could have many more adventures like this in the future and hopefully with a team of his own. A team would be a great thing to be in, especially with an awesome partner, one who also wants to protect others who couldn't protect themselves. That will surely be the day.
