I think it would be funny if they pop in the soul society and can use there soul reaper like powers and get drafted into squads since no one is old enough to know or even remember them. On that, I think we need to revote for the leader cus the dragon doesn't make sense. The dragon is number 6 and is known for not being a leader. I think it should be the rat or ox. They are number 1 and 2. Even better with the soul king being the creator of the soul reapers what if the goal of the Katena is to awaken their leader, the jade lord. I am personally not against you being the leader just the dragon being the leader due to who in tradition the dragon.

No need to apologize for not posting. You were the newest member before the guild reboot and I'm not scolding anyone over the inactivity. I was inactive as the acting Captain, and doing so would just be plain hypocritical.

That being said, I'm still considering the races a bit. I'd really, really, really like to add them in, but the problem is that they have very little point existing. That isn't to say they wouldn't contribute to the story. The problem with it I see is that the main story only involves the Shinigami and the Katena, and having other races sit back and do nothing major would seem fairly bad. Any of you curious as to why there were only two races, well that's actually the reason right there.

That being said, I'm going to post a minor update here and warn you all of an upcoming announcement. Nothing major, I promise. As for the minor update, I do believe I will be making a "Captain Pro-tempore". That is to say, this will be an acting adviser to any who wish, but will be at the equivalent strength of a Captain, but without any of their powers. In the event that there is an emergency situation (such as invasion), he has control of a single open Division. This is in part to curb my own recent inactivity while still keeping open slots. However, I would hate to say "I'm just doing this." so I'd like feed back from you the people, and if you feel this is okay or not. Just quote or pm me on this one.

Allow me to clarify (using real world examples).
Firstly, it would be in the RP. The United States has a similar set up. In the event of the President and Vice-President being unable to run the country, the oldest member of the Senate is declared president. Their official position is called President Pro-Tempore.

While in the real world, this person becomes president until the end of their four year term, this Captain Pro-tempore would only remain a Captain until someone else wanted the position. In other words, in times of crisis such as a war, if the Fourth Division would be left without a Captain, this RPC could step in as an acting Captain until another individual more suited to the task could do so, much like how in the canon series the Lieutenants run the Division while the Captains are busy, this would be a person with authority only so long as he was holding a place so that a Division didn't break down. Otherwise, any authority he had would be entirely respect based. He couldn't mobilize troops, command other rpcs or npcs, and while he could put his two cents into any meeting, it wouldn't have to be taken into consideration. His main role would be as an adviser and a place holder. However, he would have to be of the appropriate strength mind you, but that is somewhat obvious.

Update- Mild rule change. Nothing too terribly major but noteworthy here to me. I actually have doubts it'll even be noticed.
Update- Arrancar Profiles made. Approval to be determined at a later date once their part in the story is worked in. Subforum for Arrancar Approved Profiles has been made. Ranking list is next on the list.

Poll everyone! Should our Arrancar friends have their own specialties like the Divisions of the Gotei Thirteen? Another question to consider if you so wish. Answer honestly, I look forward to seeing your responses!

Update! Yes, a few of these coming out today. The Shirojugotai are under construction. Hopefully they will be available by the end of the week and ready to accept profiles. They don't have a back story or position chart yet, but those are the only two things I need to work on.

Briefly, they function as the Espada of this guild. However, there's more of them and less Arrancar overall. And no there won't be a limit to people making Arrancar, I just want to Jugotai to seem more like a tighter, more guild-like group than the military atmosphere of the Gotei Thirteen. There will be several major differences though. They will definitely be more rigid in their rule structure. The White Fifteen will also, ideally but not necessarily, be more subversive then the other two groups. I gave them more raw power, but they're still the middle man as well as being the youngest of the three groups. They have a high risk placing themselves in a war that doesn't involve them, so I would like for those involved to know this before they go make city wrecking, blood showering hollows. They will also have no form of Lieutenant, but they do get two extra Captain level positions, which is actually three more than the Katena have, so in terms of raw, Captain level power, they actually have the most, with the middle amount of troops, which, ideally, balances out with the fact that the Gotei has middle Captains, Lieutenants, and the most fodder, and the Katena have the least raw Captain power, but three stages of release. Right now I'm trying to work them into the story and I already have a pretty good idea of where I want them to go for this arc.

On another note, I'll be cleaning up some profiles and such of people who I know are not (or are no longer) participating in the guild. Additionally, I'm going to be on the look out for help in resetting some of the topics (because it takes for freaking ever to do). So yeah, big long update, but a good read. If I'm forgetting something that goes to this, I'll likely add it to this post rather than make a new one when I remember.

No that is fine. I meant IF I make a second character it would be that, but I think I am ok having one at the moment.


What if their specialty is elements? Basically they evolve to a new level that they appear like dark mages and use one element.

Put your twist on it, but that could be different then the standard aspects of sins or death that everyone else uses.

That is really interesting man, I love the way you think. If you want help with the guild I would love to help and give ideas and what not.
