Chinara giggled, and leapt in front of Tekeza. "Did I scawe you?" she asked, giggling. "I'm Chinawa!" She certainly was more friendly, after that rough playing.
"Whatcha doin' out hewe?" she asked, tilting her head curiously. "Awen't you a Pwidewander?" Chinara had always thought the Pridelanders were so glorious... but Tekeza on the other hand.. xD;

Kijibwa finally catches up with them, shaking his head as China questions the other lion and introduces herself. Then she suddenly asks if she's a pridelander, and he's reminded of why he even came to this place. He straightens up and eyes Tekeza curiously.
This must mean that China isn't a pridelander.
And this other lioness certainly was in a position that suggested she could be a lazy lion, like Kiburi had told him they were. He doesn't say anything or introduce himself, instead he waits for Tekeza's answer.

Tekeza stared curiously at the energetic cub, her eyes moving from the cub to the male, back and forth. She had seen the cub before once, but she hadnt seen the male. "I uh....yea im a Pridelander. I was just taking a walk, and just felt like taking a nap so..." She trailed off not knowing what to say. "Im Tekeza." She turned to the male, biteing her lower lip nervously. "Uh..who are you? I dont think ive seen you around these parts before."

Chinara turned back to Kijibwa, before turning around to Tekeza. "That's Kijibwa... he's my fwiend!" she chirped happily. "An' I've seen the Pwidewanders.. I wemembew my momma said they wewe wegal and majestic... so I wanna join your pwide to make hew happy!"
The cub, still feeling frisky, flopped onto Tekeza, tugging on her ear playfully. "C'mon, wet's see what ya got!" she laughed.

Aha! Taking a nap sounded like something lazy.
Sometimes, anyway.
Maybe Kiburi was right about the lions here, and that red one was an exception.
"What she said," he nods toward Chinara for his introduction, but then turns his head to stare at her when she goes on to say that the Pridelanders are regal and magestic. That's pretty much the opposite of the 'fat and lazy' description that he'd been given! His head, still tilted at a funny angle, turns to look at Tekeza- at the same time as Chinara pounces at her and starts tugging on her ear.
"She does that a lot," he informs Tekeza, tilting his head back to a normal angle.

Tekeza let out a little squeal as she fell back, suddenly staring into the blue sky. "I really dont..I mean im no good at.." she tried to push the cub off of her, feeling rather uncomfortable at her current situation. She was getting frusterated at the ear chewing though, and she had to do something soon or her ear would be gone. She took the cub, and fliped her over and pinned her into the dirt with a snort. After a second she relized she was still standing on the cub half her size and she got off muttering "sorry sorry."

Chinara squealed as Tekeza flipped her over, before giggling with delight. "You awe stwong!" she giggled, before standing up, shaking her body.
"Weww.. I gotta get going... See you watew!" she called, before stumbling off into the grass. Poor little cub was wiped out already!

Kijibwa just watches as the two play, chuckling to himself when Tekeza manages to pin China.
"That makes you stronger than me," he adds to the conversation, continuing his joking from before when he told China that she was so much stronger than him. His blue eyes follow China as she informs them that she has to go, raising an eyebrow.
"Hm," he shrugs, then looks back to Tekeza, "So, you are a pridelander. What are they like?" He asks, surprisingly taking a different approach to learning about these lions.

"I am?" Teke blinked confuzed. "Ive always been the weakest of my brothers and sisters. And I dont practice much.." Obviously unaware that he was joking. She was a surprised at his question. "What are we like? Well..I suppose were just like any other lions. We all have different personalitys, but were all fairly nice. I dont think ive met a mean lion or lioness here since I was born.

Kijibwa grins at the confused expression on Tekeza's face, but decides not to comment further on strength. Then it's obvious she has his full attention when she starts answering his question.
"Then you didn't meet that red one," he mumbles to himself.
"So 'fat and lazy' isn't a good general description," he says decisively. Based on what this little lioness is telling him it isn't true, but he still has his doubts. With China gone and now finding himself only with someone who'd probably enjoy their time better quiet and alone, she had been trying to take a nap after all, he gives a nod.
"I'm sorry we bothered you, Tekeza," he apologizes, backing up, "I'll leave you to your nap, then."
