Since this was her very first meeting with the rest of her division and because she wanted to make a good first impression, Abbi decided to partake in the some of the cabobs. Living off MRE's had curbed her appetite to the point that when she saw cheese covered chunks on sticks, she didn't at all think there was something sinister waiting underneath. She only saw not plastic packaged food.
This was a grave mistake on her part.
Stuck sitting there trying to decide if she was chewing on a sardine or tuna, Abbi was trying really hard not to look totally put off. There didn't seem to be a formal introduction period so she was just kind of guessing about who was who until someone raised their hand. The teen swallowed her cheese covered mystery food in a large gulp before she stared at the speaker.
She had seen pictures of that guy.
Wedding pictures.

Unabashedly staring with wide, sparkling violet eyes, Abbi listened to Marcus with all the fervor and attentiveness of one hoping senpai would notice them. At least until she heard what he was saying... Camping? Oh well that was... That was something Abbi would try really hard to do and not fail at! She wanted to be useful to her division and stuff!
Not sure if she should volunteer as tribute or not, she nodded instead as though that was a helpful addition to the discussion.

Abbi wasn't alone in the 'first moon meeting' club, and Finn had found a seat next to her, giving her a flick on the shoulder as he passed and settled himself down, smoothing out his clothing as he did so, adjusting a bit, and then leaning back in his seat while crossing his arms over his chest and simply listening to what everyone had to say. Being a trainee, and considering he hadn't yet put a lot of thought into what he wanted to specialize in, he remained fairly silent, eyes focusing on the disgusting array of foods laid out on a table.

He'd just..continue to munch away on bland MRE food, thanks.

It wasn't until he began looking around at the speakers that he realized he really didn't know many from his own division, which was....kind of sad, considering he'd been awake on the island for at least three months by now. He listened attentively, however, cold gaze moving around the room to each person as they spoke, then finally, he leaned forward to give Abbi a prod.

"Are you about to burst into sparkles or something? He's not that good looking, Abbi, and definitely not in your age range."

Of course he would tease her for staring at the man who had made the suggestion about camping.

Also it was probably important to note that Finn was not at all feeling enthusiastic about the camping thing.

Marcus didn't notice Abbie at first but then-

"Hey." Edith had given him the clear, (even if he had to pair up) he was approved. "Marcus Hasan. A bit of an award place to say hello but, I'm guessing you're new?" He didn't recall her face.
Nor did Dis, who usually recalled faces and names if only to suggest things about them.

Finn was offered a simple handshake. "You'll find age doesn't always apply here. ...But I do consider myself quite the attractive individual."

He saw that look Dakota.
He saw.

And he retaliated with a
'Don't hit on the new trainees in the meeting afterwards you can-also I hope you have been eating well since the house went down you can come over for ghetto style soup if you want' look.

Looking back to Charlotte, the hunter figured it was a better time than never to return what he'd found. Walking over after his brief hellos to the trainees, he waited a moment for the moon assistant to breathe mid paper pushing before bringing it up. "Miss Charlotte?" He began. "I found this down by the beach. Tried to dry it and get rid of sand and what not best I could." He offered up the book of music to the woman, hoping he wasn't interrupting some deep mathematical moon equation she'd been trying to solve.
