Al was easily flung down into the mucky sludge and it burbled and squirted beneath his weight as he was slammed down deep in it. It restricted his movements but did not end them. He struck up to knee her between her legs at the same time as smacking upwards against her jaw with the broad side of Nuru, still held in a defensive position.

As soon as it had turned into a mudfight, Maebe wasn't taking it as seriously as she should have, and Al stomped all over her with his attacks. She let out several groans with each hit, managing to dive Thaw under to dig all three prongs into Al's middle and use the leverage to push him away. She flopped back after separating herself from him, and rubbed her aching jaw.
I still have you, child. Thaw murmured, but she heard the worry in his voice.
She pushed herself back up to her feet, slipping and sliding, until she was standing in defensive position once more.

Al squished and squelched, caked head to toe in mud that clung to everything that he was. Even Nuru was absolutely filthy. Neither of them felt wronged in this. It felt.... natural? Was mud an element? He spun in it and slid after his opponent, Nuru ever at the ready and swung deftly with the momentum of the mud to leave a lasting impression along her back and side.

Maebe's body made a nasty sound as it slammed into the mud again, this time on her hands and knees. She took a moment to recoup, and then lifted her hand in a sign of peace.
Don't give up so easily. Child, you can-
"I give. You win, guy. Please stop throwing me in the mud."
She could feel Thaw's disappointment, and it washed over her like an old friend.

He'd shut up after the bikini comment, and after waving good-bye at the man leaving, he turned back to watch the fight unfold silently, not wanting to be more of a distraction. He cringed each time Maebe was thrown in the mud, and it was incredibly difficult to resist the urge to break past the ring and help her. He watched quietly as she finally conceded, and stood at the edge of the battlefield, waiting for her.

Al stared her down, expecting it to be an act only for her to attack the moment his back was turned... then the game was called. He heaved a sigh of relief. He smoothed out the... mud... and then shook his hands and then offered one to Maebe. "Good fight?"

Maebe took his hand, but only because it was easier than trying to get out of mud herself. As soon as she was on her feet, she let go, and started wiping the mud off of her coat. "Yeah. Good luck in the ... ahh." She had actually tried to be cordial, and wish him good luck. In the middle of the sentence she just gave up the ruse and walked away. It was so hard to care. As soon as she met up with Shiloh, she pulled him in for a muddy hug, and put all of her weight on him to try and push him out of the arena and back to the main area. She was good and done, and ready for a shower. sammpai why is she always dirty around u Saliru Im so sorry this is so late, I had a huge slump!
