((Enter from the hallway.))  ๐พ ๐จ ๐ธ๐พ ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ถ๐ช๐ญ๐ฎ ๐ช ๐๐ฎ๐ช๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ธ๐ฏ ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐พ Alex stepped into Xavier's office, knowing that he would have the rules read to him and probably get that stern look from Xavier. He wasn't quite sure what else he would expect. He was still in shock. Still trying to figure out the why's and how's of the fight that lasted less than a minute. He didn't know who threw the first punch. No one threw any.
Kali had thrown the fireball, but if he would have stopped, she may not have done it. Did he instigate it? He obviously had pushed her too far. Perhaps, the girl wasn't as fun to mess with as she had seemed. With all of the times he had tried to pick on her, she only agreed. She let him. But wouldn't that have built up? Wouldn't she have kicked the life out of him?
Instead, she had to beat him without leaving a mark...

((Logan enters from Hallway)) WOLVERINE Logan noticed that Alex was quiet and lost in thought on the way to Xavier's, which was good, because that meant he wasn't causing trouble. Once they were in, he marched Alex up to Xavier's desk and gave the Professor a rundown on what had just happened. "What do you want me to do? I brought him straight here."

๐พ ๐จ ๐ธ๐พ ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐ถ๐ช๐ญ๐ฎ ๐ช ๐๐ฎ๐ช๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ธ๐ฏ ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐พ Alex listened as Logan told the story of what went down. He waited. He watched Xavier's face. It went from wonder, to anger, to concern and back to anger. Or was it disappointment? Alex didn't know.
"I see that you have been thinking about your actions," Xavier said. Alex nodded. "I am going to take your allowance until your account shows that you have enough to pay for a new staff for Jade. And the same with your friends."
Alex nodded, he expected that.
"You will also be on dishes duty," Xavier said. "I have done enough cleaning up after you, you can do some cleaning up after everyone else. You will report to the kitchen during lunch and after classes are dismissed for the day. You will continue until further notice."
Alex looked shocked, but then nodded. Anything was better than Kali.
Xavier turned to Logan. "We will have to think of something for Kali. I am not so sure that she is as sorry as our friend, Alex, here."

WOLVERINE Logan turned to Alex. "I think you've learned your lesson, and like the Prof said, you've been thinking hard." The bell rang. "I think that's your cue to get to class." Logan waited until Alex had gone, then said, "Zero's with her now, they had to discuss something. Should I bring them here?"

He had already set in his mind that he would find Jade and apologize to her. He would buy her the best staff, if it kept Kali away.
Xavier nodded. "I think it would be best that she is brought here. We need to have a serious talk with her."

WOLVERINE Logan nodded slowly, then hesitated. "Are you sure that's the best idea? What if she goes bezerk again? Then you'd be in the line of fire."

((Kali enters from the hallway))  โข frรธm thฮต ฮฑshฮตs ยป A FIRE SHALL BEWOKEN ยซ Kali walked in front of Zero, all the way to Charles' office. Her back was straight, eyes forward, shoulders back. Exactly how she was trained to walk. Even when she was in trouble. She was always in trouble. Even when she was at the facility. She was sure that they had an entire file cabinet on her. Actually, she knew they did, because when she was ten, she burned everything in it, at the first facility. She was sure that she had accumulated more punishment than they had ever dreamed of encountering. So much for being the perfect soldier, but they didn't kill her. They probably wanted to, but she was the last. They wouldn't kill her. She was too valuable.
Kali opened the large, oak door and walked in. Her eyes went to Logan, who was standing there, waiting. It didn't bother her, she expected it. There were two people that she couldn't kill. Logan and Zero. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't do much harm, so why not have both of them there?
Her eyes focused on Xavier, as she sat behind the desk. He was always sitting behind the desk. His eyes tried to pierce into her, but she was not bothered by his eyes. He didn't look happy with her, but the look he gave her was nothing that she hadn't experienced before.
She stopped next to Logan, but didn't look at him. She forced herself not to stand at attention, though she still stood straight and was silent. She let Xavier think. Her commanders always needed time to think when she had done something wrong.

WOLVERINE Logan turned around with visible anger, held back only because the Prof and Zero were there. He didn't have anything really against Zero, he just didn't like the fact that the boy beat him with such ease. And he didn't like the fact that Kali was here with Xavier. What if she went nuts? He and Zero could protect themselves just fine, but Charles couldn't... "Well, looks like she came. I don't know what it is that enables her to listen to you, J, but you need to start using it more often." ZERO I don't know either, Logan Zero thought. He was convinced that if Kali didn't wanna be here, she wouldn't be. She came because she knew she deserved punishment, and she wasn't one to run away or avoid the enevitable. Nevertheless, Zero stood by the door, and glanced at Logan, seeing that the soldier had come to the same conclusion he did: If Kali sparked, things would go bad quickly.

โข frรธm thฮต ฮฑshฮตs ยป A FIRE SHALL BEWOKEN ยซ Kali heard Zero's footsteps at the door, behind her. Xavier was still silent. Kali knew that she had done wrong. Logan said something about her listening to Zero, she turned her eyes to meet him.
"I came on my own," she said, with threat in her voice. Threat was always there, even when she didn't try. "I broke the rules in your student handbook. I'm not afraid of you, so I'm certainly not afraid of punishment."
"Enough," the man behind the desk said sternly. "What am I to do with you, Kali?"
Kali was silent as her eyes darted back to the old man.
"You're a smart girl," Xavier continued. "If you were in my place and I were in yours...what would you do?"
"I'd throw you on the street," Kali said without missing a beat. She wasn't ungrateful for Xavier letting her stay as a student. But, he did ask.
Xavier cringed. "Then aren't we glad that this is not the case and I'm a little more forgiving than you," Xavier said, seeing more about the girl. "Le's start with an explanation."
Kali said nothing. At least until she felt a forigener inside of her mind. Her eyes flashed."Let me make something very clear to you, Professor...If I had anything to say, I would say it," she seethed as she forced Xavier out. "Stay out of my head..."
"Then answer the question," Xavier said, the girl trying his patience. It was visible.
"I have no explanation," Kali said.

WOLVERINE Logan steps forward with a growl, checked by Zero. "Listen, girlie, you've been fighting us since we met...literally, in this case. I'm not sure what you think we're here for, but it ain't ta hurt ya. Xavier especially. He's here to help." Zero just stood there, watching, waiting. It looked like he was thinking, hard, about something. And the way his eyes flicked around the room...

โข frรธm thฮต ฮฑshฮตs ยป A FIRE SHALL BEWOKEN ยซ Kali glanced at Logan. He was right, she had been fighting. She was always fighting. There was no other life that she knew. She fought to live, she fought for her own freedom and now she was simply fighting.
"Jade," Kali finally said after some silence. "The girl who is blind...Alex and his friends decided that it would be fun to pick on her. The broke her staff. They looked like they were going to break her next. No one else was going to stop it. So, I got his attention. I told him to stop. He didn't. I threw a fireball, but it wasn't going to it him. Just something to get his attention away from her. He charged me and I threw him against a locker with a knife at his throat. I wasn't going to kill him but I do think that he won't be pulling stupid, childish tricks for a while."
Xavier raised an eyebrow. "You used a knife," he asked slowly.
"He was a giant ape," Kali said plainly. "I gave my blades to him," she glanced at Zero and the blades that she still wanted. "I at least know what fights to lay down. Fuzz Brain needed a lesson and no one was giving it to him. I would do it again."
Xavier gave a slight nod. "I see. Logan, what do you think we should do about Kali?"

 Logan stood there thinking for a minute. "Well for one, have Zero keep her weapons, except for training. Then she'll have to go to him, and he'll be watching her the entire time. That's a start. What about you, Zero? Got anything?"  Zero shook his head. "The problems were caused by someone else, she was only trying to help. She did, however, pull a weapon on another student, so I agree with someone keeping an eye on her weapons. But aside from that, I think that she shouldn't be punished. She really didn't do anything wrong, she was trying to help Jade when noone else would. Yeah, Kali, you did it the completely wrong way, but still...the thought was there."

โข frรธm thฮต ฮฑshฮตs ยป A FIRE SHALL BEWOKEN ยซ Kali's eyes narrowed, rather than widened, with surprise when Xavier spoke after both Zero and Logan. "No punishment? I think that you are right. She did have the best of intentions, despite the path she took..."
"What," Kali nearly blurted. A girl normally confined to quiet and threats, with enough bite to back them up. "I broke your rules! I took part in a fight and you aren't going to do a thing about it?"
Kali stopped herself from jumping over the desk. She wanted to make the professor giver her some form of punishment. There were consequences for every action. Punishment for everything. Something that had been such a common occurrence in her world was now taken away. A wrench was thrown into something that she had always known. Her head was spinning.
"You can't do that! The rules state that any fighting is punishable," Kali said living in a world so black and white. "You take away allowance, give me kitchen duty, throw me on the streets but don't do nothing!"
"Kali," Xavier said, now calm and wondering at her reaction. Even when he saw her angry, she seemed calm and controlled. He couldn't see what she would do next. He felt uneasy. "Perhaps not doing anything is the best punishment for you."
Kali glanced at Logan and Zero, wanting them to side with her. Knowing they probably wouldn't and became angry with them. Silent but angry. A deadly mix after such an outburst.

  Wearing: Outfit Leaning on the doorframe, Mugen observed the others discretely. Finally arriving at the institute, he figured he would first consult Xavier on where to go next. Little did he know that the professor would be occupied with another group. Raising his arm and forming his hand into a fist, the teen knocked just loud enough against the door frame to garner the attention of the others. โI hope Iโm not interrupting anything important,โ Mugen began, โIโve just arrived, Professor. Figured Iโm supposed to see you regarding where Iโm staying?โ Mugenโs voice was calm yet confident. His eyes jumped from person to person but the one who caught his eye was the girl with red hair. Kali was it? Luckily enough, Mugen had been listening just long enough to catch her name as mentioned by the Professor. She was cute and her hair was simply eye candy.
With his left arm preoccupied with a basketball, Mugen used the other to smoothly shift his sunglasses to rest on top of his jet black hair. He figured he should show his face before introducing himself to the others, โNameโs Mugen by the way,โ

Zero stepped forward towards Kali, seeing in her body posture that she wasn't happy. That, he expected. "Kali...I told you, not everything is as black and white as you grew up to believe. Me, Logan, Xavier, Scott...we all told you that we're not here to hurt you. You've gotta start trusting us a little. If you had started the fight, pulled the knife, actually done serious harm to Alex, then you would be in a lot more trouble. But you were trying to help Jade when nobody else would, you didn't hurt Alex...maybe his pride a little, but you didn't really touch him. Taking your weapons is enough punishment." Without turning around, so as to not leave himself open in case Kali did decide to do something, he tossed back, "Welcome, Mugen."
