"All right all right." Finn held his hands up in the no harm no foul kind of way, as best as he could while still resting his lance between his index finger and thumb, while Trynt growled at him in a way that suggested he should probably pay more attention to the competition then the background noise. Right. He could do that. Jumping backward and missing getting hit again by inches, Finn spun his lance over head in a very flashy manner before bringing it down in a long, vertical swipe. His training was definitely paying off, and it showed with how he was able to handle the weapon that he was once completely clueless about. Now as long as his own dearest friends didn't arrive to heckle him as well he thought that he might be able to do alright. Damage: 5 HP: 22

SPECTATING
Stormy had hoped Jack would have chosen a different fight to go to at this point; she forgot what getting her hopes up meant when she was clearly in an unlucky streak these days.
Dividing from him as quickly as she could, she plopped down by Evan and Heidi in time to hear something about...Bubbles. Huh. "Hey," she greeted them in her usual mild voice, which was funny once she turned to the fighters and suddenly shouted, "Kick his a**, Tuck!"
Off to the side, Jack added, "Finn, you retard, how hard is it to hit the guy?" See it was all part of the game: one for one, one for the other. Like old times.
Stormy just sighed.

Since the teen had a little bit of time before her own fight, Abbi decided to go cheer on Finn. Well, cheer on Finn in the most subtle way because Tuck had been really, really nice to her. Clapping lightly, the teen snuck closer to the fight, eyes wide. "Whooooo Finn-- HI STORMY." Clamoring over herself, the teen rushed up to Stormy and linked arms because they were totally friends. Abbi even was feeling really affectionate in her nervousness and rubbed her cheek against Stormy's shoulder.
"Jack don't call people that, its rude." Abbi was giving him her best social justice look too.

Spectating"Oh, I didn't?" Evan replied, his grin reaching s**t-eating levels. "Well, I call him Bubbles because..." he trailed off, practically feeling the sharp points of the daggers Tuck was staring at him. He turned his head towards the bigger man and deflected his glare with what became an angelic smile. Be cool, man, it said. I've got your back. Mostly. He looked back at Heidi and continued, "It's because he really, really likes doing dishes. Never in my life met a man who likes doing dishes so much," he said with a shake of his head. "Ah, well, you know what they say about different strokes." Evan was happy to see Stormy come over, and he reached out to affectionately ruffle her hair as she sat down. "Hey, Stormy," he said. "Glad you're here. Seems like Tuck needs all the help he can get."

Tuck was ready to throttle Evan. He was so ******** ready to throttle the dude, his fingers itched to wrap around Evan's stupid jarhead neck. He was so ******** ready to throttle Evan that he was apparently really not ready to focus on the fight at hand, and when he swung his axe he really missed. Hard. Letting out a low growl, Tuck shot Heidi a glance. It was kind of apologetic, but it was also kind of really annoyed. "Payback's a b***h," Tuck called out, rolling his shoulders as his gaze darted from Heidi to Evan. Current HP: 18 Damage: ...omfg 0

And then, the darling friend that Finn really didn't want to show up did. As well as Stormy, who was unsurprisingly cheering for the opponent in a way that made Finn's smile widen, made him turn to cast her the most dead pan and cold look he could summon. You're such a b***h. He thought to himself, holding his anger in, hiding it as he always did. And since it didn't seem his opponent was paying much attention to the match anyways, Finn took a moment to turn towards Jack. <********. You. s**t stick." Damage: 0.00000 HP: 22

Tuck's eyes widened and there was a moment where he sympathized with Finn. It wasn't easy to focus when there were assholes heckling you, and while Tuck was kind of used to it (lie) and it didn't really bother him (total lie), he also knew he had to get his head back in the ******** game. Inhaling deeply, Tuck swung the axe broadly - and missed entirely. He didn't turn to face the others, but those broad shoulders of his drooped a few ******** me." Current HP: 18 Damage: 0

"Hey, Stormy~!" Heidi grinned. She was..very surprised to hear her shout. Her eyes widened slightly. Damn, girl. Finally Heidi stood, giving the green-haired guy a curious glance before she turned back to Tuck in time to catch his glance. She cupped her hands around her mouth to shout along with Stormy. "Come on, Tuck! You can do this!" Heidi encouraged with a big grin, clasping her hands after. Come oooon! He'd be so grumpy if he lost! Evan was given a look when he 'explained' the Bubbles name. "That's a load of crap. Tuck hates doing the dishes. You're a liar, Evan."When she heard Tuck's voice call out again she turned her attention back down to her boyfriend. Maybe it was the sand that was the problem. Tuck's weapon looked so heavy, and he needed to be stable on his feet..man, that must suck. It made Heidi glad for her light, easy to use weapon. Oh! But Tuck worked really well with motivation! What to do what to do... "OH!" Heidi clapped her hands excitedly when an idea struck her. "You really like when I wear pink, right? If you beat him I'll wear it again!"Genius.

"Hey, Tuck! If you lose, you won't get any hugs from me afterwards! And I'll bug you on Twitter foreverrrrrr."
Really it seemed both of them needed help. Sand was an awful arena to fight in . . . At least Stormy seemed to have lightened up a little form her earlier cloudier mood, making a face as her hair was ruffled. "That's not very heroic, Herc," she added to Heidi's statement with a solemn shake of her head, short curls bouncing.
But ooooo, Tuck liked pink huh? She sparkled a little at Heidi for her genius suggestion. "I wanna seeeee~"
It also helped to have some affection going on, much as she was reluctant to start any right now. Stormy smiled a little as Abbi clung to her, ruffling her head in turn. Ruffled hair buddies! "Hey~ Don't worry about him, he's just here to mess around."
"I heard that." Jack gave an exaggerated shrug for Abbi's benefit, still grinning. "Just call 'em like I see 'em." But this fight was getting too boring; he was almost insulted at Finn's lack of skill of a sudden, considering their own past fight had shown him to be at least decent. So he decided to see if maybe he could get the guy to kick it up a notch.
"You seen Fini yet today? Scar girl looks sexy today in battle, I'll just say that much~ We're already planning how to celebrate our wins afterwards."

Ripley had taken to wandering around after his fight. He was muddy and bandaged, but at least he was still alive, and so that meant taking a look around at the fights that were still on going. At first he wasn't looking for anything or anyone in particular, but when he came across someone familiar, he couldn't help but investigate.
Ah-hah. It was Finn. He was right.
It was time for a little payback.
"DON'T ******** UP, FINN!" He yelled, quite happy to return the favour. Immediately after he leaned back with a polite smile to everyone else as if he hadn't just heckled his buddy. "Hi." Said smile may have gotten a little wider as he noticed Abbi and Jack there too.

Turning back from the small congregation of spectators to the match at hand, it seemed like both Tuck and Finn were ready to get this little tournament battle back underway. The other man stepped in with another swing of his battleaxe that Finn was actually lucky to dodge, and while the other moon seemed to almost slump forward in defeat, Finn saw his opportunity to strike emerge. Until, of course, Jack's voice cut through his concentration, quickly followed by Ripley's. The death trainee's shout didn't bother him so much, and he shrugged it off, knowing full well that he deserved it after his taunts to the other man in his own match. But the one from Jack? < Finn! Foucus! > It was actually surprising to hear Trynt's snarling voice rather then just the sound of growls. Right.....Ya, right. He mentally shook it off, ignoring what Jack had said to the best of his ability. Besides, he knew that both Jack and Fini hadn't fought yet. They had a bye. Jack was just trying to get under his skin. < So then don't let him. Don't give him the satisfaction. >I didn't plan on it, and I never do. So Finn found himself, for the moment at least, tuning out the crowd to focus more on what was important: winning. Launching himself forward, holding his lance in a two handed grip, he released it with one hand to slash across Tuck's midsection. Damage: 3 HP: 22

This battle was starting to stagnate a bit, just the two boys kind of dodging around each other in a silly manner. Content to sit close to Stormy, still wrapped around her arm, Abbi dropped her chin to the girl's shoulder. "Herc? Is that...Herc?" She asked with a careful point to Tuck. "What does that make Heidi?" She asked with a sneaky grin, batting her eyelashes up at Stormy. What did that make Abbi? A pout was flashed to Jack (since Stormy seemed not so keen on Jack) along with a show of the teen's tongue. "Still rude." Really important to point that out.
A shout from nearby startled the girl into sitting more upright, turning a little to see a muddy Ripley. With a bright grin she took one arm from Stormy's to wave at him and then quickly pat the seat next to her. "Hi Ripley! Come sit with us! Feeling better? You still look pretty muddy." Eeewwwwww.
Was she supposed to be cheering Finn on? Whoops...

"Doesn't look like we've got much to worry about, then," Evan retorted as Tuck just magically continued to miss. "Seriously, though, this is embarrassing. I am embarrassed for you. You been letting your training slip again, Army?" He hook his head in disappointment as he turned back to the girls. "You wound me, ladies," he said, looking between Stormy and Heidi, putting a hand over his heart in mock surprise. "I may exaggerate a little bit here and there, but I never lie. Tuck is happy enough to do dishes--as long as you feed him first and don't give him a choice in the matter. As to why I really call him Bubbles," he trailed off, smiling slyly, "you'll have to ask his sister. She's got, just, so many stories. Had me laughing for days."

SPECTATING
Why, did someone say her name?
Yes, Jack. She heard you. And made a point of walking up behind the tall man to give him a good elbow in the gut. "What was that about a scar girl, Jack dearest?" Fini said sweetly enough, glancing towards both Finn and Tuck. Apparently they were sort of at a stand still. Or at least that's how it appeared.
"Oh and remind me again about what we're doing after winning?" She tilted her head up at Jack, leaning against him and slipping an arm through his.
Maybe you should win soon, Finn.
"FINNNN! You're going to make me go celebrate alone with Jack?" Fini may or may not have pouted at him. And yes, she was a little deviant... or something along those lines~ Seussi she loves you Finn, really

The blow against his midsection left Tuck feeling a little breathless. He was doing his best to tune out the peanut gallery, but when Heidi's voice rose above the rest, well. He really did much better with motivation, and the motivation that Heidi provided was, well. It was really, really good motivation. Tuck readjusted his grip on the axe's handle, and Herryk made a low, pleased sound. Tuck brought the weapon around, the blade aimed towards Finn's waist. HP: 15 DMG: 5
