She couldn't do this.
She should've known better. To take Stormy's advice and be careful. As soon as the hunter introduced himself, she should've ollied out.
Now she was faced with the problem that she had done something, something she thought unforgivable, to someone who was suppose to be close to her but she had no memory of.
Nothing came back. Nothing at all about this.
And it was true, on her set of keys, she had one that she never knew where it went. It wasn't for her dorm or Stormy's or any of her other friends.
It was Roland's.
In desperation, she pulled the keys out, taking the one she didn't know who it belonged to and shoved it back at Roland. "Take it back."
One could visible see the strain this was causing on her. How any moment, she might just crumble. Roland had just added on to her list as someone of a threat. Like Finn. Roland was someone she would have to eradicate to finally have a peaceful life.
The thoughts of this tinged madness scared her and she clutched back at herself.
Every insecurity, every feeling............How much else did she forget than? How much of her mistakes did she forget that could be dug up at any moment.
"Don't talk to me again." She let out a breath, "There is no being friends. if I forgot, then it means I wanted nothing more." The words were cruel, and there was no excuse for them. "I don't know you, I don't want to know anymore." She took a step back, panic lacing at her. Panic and anger and guilt. "If you come near me, I will treat you as nothing more than a enemy." She lifted her chin.
And then ran, ran as fast as she could back to her free dorm. The empty one that she had not yet given up but not used since moving in with Stormy.
And she destroyed it until she felt better. until she was calm and subdued again.
Until she'd let herself forget.

Roland stood his ground, he had no choice, what could he have done? Lied? What good would a lie do when the truth came out, how broken it would make her, how broken she was now.
Suddenly the key was in front of him, violently shoved in his face. He didn't react quickly, he was slow, hesitant with his movements as he carefully plucked the key from her grasp.
She continued to speak, her voice as cold, no, colder then it had been the day she lied to him. This was the truth now, the cold, corrupted truth spilling from her lips this time.
"We work in the same division, you know that's not possible." He rolled the keys in his fingers, "Don't pick that fight Nevada, it's not worth the trouble Candace and Aria would bring down on you." He watched her head high, some twisted sense of pride in her last words.
"I was never the enemy."
He watched as she turned, running, running towards the trees and back towards the dorms. He rolled the key in his fingers again clutching it in his fist.

Roland glanced up, off to the side slightly as if expecting Sylvia to be standing there talking. Turning to the sea he pulled his arm back chucking the key out as far as it would go.
"I don't really care anymore to be honest. But if she wants to fight me that bad. We deal with it then."
<< You seem... Okay with that? >>
He turned towards the jungles moving onward to keep looking for a Titan, something to hunt, something to hit. "I'm not. I'm just too tired to care anymore."
