kitsycool Ah man, coming back here is so sad now :c Not just PA, but Gaia in general. This guild and its rad group of people dragged me kicking and screaming through my teenage years and now I'm a bona fide adult. How weird is that. Anyway, as much as I'd love to go handing out my phone number, I don't live in the states so that'd be a bit expensive :p But, like Shells, I'm gonna totally throw away years of caution and link you all to my Facebook. I don't post much, but still. https://www.facebook.com/katie.miskoAlso, I spend a lot of time on tumblr now, if anyone here is into that at all. You can watch me post pictures of cats (and very little else, honestly) on my blog. Also, I found Suz on there, too! www.kaylora.tumblr.com I miss all you guys and I love you and remember you fondly <3 I was a little confused by the random friend request until I saw they were from Winnipeg - that could mean only one of two people! heart heart

shells_of_sand I just checked in on a couple of guilds and spotted some similar threads... so I don't think it's just us. Gaia just isn't what it was. I sign in pretty infrequently but it seems like they're doing anything to make money. I'm an accountant - I get that. But they haven't managed to maintain the things that made this place so great - in particular, the feeling of community. Then you add these ridiculous things they're doing to the economy (I just saw some Halloween gold sink thing where people put in 100m gold?? What have they DONE that people have so much gold?!) and the slide in item quality... it's not even worth playing around with your avatar. Might as well just muck around on tektek instead. Urgh, I didn't mean to get up on my soapbox. It just feels sad to loose something that we all spent so much time and effort on... even if I might have drifted away naturally. Anyway, unfortunately I'm not really much of a gamer either!! The whole living in Australia thing probably throws a spanner in the works for any offline communications. But I'm more than happy to add anyone on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/michelle.claughtonFeels a bit weird to post that after being so careful not to post my real name on here for so long. But there you go! Hope everyone is well. heart heart whoa, you are brave! it is so nice to hear you again.

Crono725 The obvious solution there is to marry me! it is tempting, o man of mystery, but in my state it is illegal to have more than one spouse. smile

I will add you on the PS3 and League! I'm on both fairly frequently.
A mod should make a contact list as a sticky.
This surprisingly isn't the only guild I'm still in contact with. My old World of Warcraft guild has a facebook group they all manage daily which surprises me. I'm still best friends with people from middle school too. I don't know if it's that I am extremely loyal or that it's my social anxiety or both. ^^;
Anyhow since this seems like the place to do this: Facebook ~ https://www.facebook.com/Suzaka.Matsumi Tumblr ~ http://unpopularshipper.tumblr.com/ (I change my name sometimes so if you can't find my old name, look for an even dumber one to come up) Yahoo ~ SuzakaMizuhane@yahoo.com League ~ SuzakaMizuhane (I'm pretty terrible and prefer ARAM) Battle.net ~ Suzaka#1595 (I play Diablo 3 and Hearthstone, not much WoW) PS3 ~ Suza-Tal (I don't play too many co-op games, I have Diablo 3 and Ragnarok Odyssey though. I'm open to suggestions.) Skype ~ memorylost700 (we should all try to get together on skype one day)

we recently rode VIA Rail through Manitoba, and the place did have a certain charm.
it was modern, with up to date farming methods and absolutely huuuge potash operations/

I'm getting way into Hearthstone, I'll add you on battle.net! I have pretty much stopped playing League. It was fun for a while but all of my RL friends with whom I played get too angry when they lose. That made it stop being fun.
How's everybody doing? We all gonna meet up in Manitoba, hang out with all the potash? Polling Alley Potash Meetup?

my guy was a hero last night.
i saw three huge black spiders lurking on the wall over my bed (and i do not know about Manitoba but there are giant ones near Ottawa, one dropped into my teacup and filled it) anyway I screamed and it scuttled an inch away but two more emerged after it!
so hubby valiantly sacrificed the surface of one of his many weapons (a short sword) and killed them all.
i doubted their death, but he showed me their squishy hairy green remains.
fortunately he merely used the flat of the blade, or we would have no bedroom left!

I wonder if anyone will notice me posting in our near-vacant guild. ninja
I checked before I logged in just now; my last login was in December. You know why I stopped coming for a bit? I was busy...
I own a house now! whee I started the purchasing process in December, was approved for my loan and bought it in March ([doge]much stress, so tiring[/doge]), and fully moved in during April. Now, I have internet for the first time in months.
Since I now have internet, I'm starting to do things like make a Facebook page and starting to make online dating accounts to remedy the fact that I'm still single. Being busy making my house a home will not help me get out more. sweatdrop
Do not be surprised if you have posted your Facebook here and get a random friend request from me in the future. I'm in NW FL.

I actually started looking for my own place a couple of months ago. I think it's going to be a long, hard slog to find something. We checked out the auction for a unit yesterday which was quoting $400k - $440k and went for $517k! I should probably get used to real estate agents massively underquoting on properties, but still. >.> Not to mention the number of houses for sale is dropping off now that we're moving into Winter. sad

My sale went through in March, which is the normal bottom dip in home sale prices each year in North America; the combination of cold and holidays makes things easy to predict. You don't have that luxury, and you're trying to buy in a seller's market (scales were about even when I bought between buyers and sellers). sad Good luck. heart
