It had been awhile since Jerarda had allowed herself a moment to relax. Fishing sounded almost too good to be true. Giving the young woman a grin she nodded her head and shifted her weight, tossing her spear into her free hand.

"Sounds good, we can make it a competition...see who can catch the most." She laughed and it was a sound that seemed almost foreign to her, how long had it been since she had laughed? Too caught up with the war and the Dretch she hadn't really allowed herself a moment to just relax and enjoy living.

"Bet I can also beat you to the river." She grinned looking as if she was ready to take off before it had been agreed upon.

Jerarda gave Vollerie a look of surprise, perhaps more by the fact she had never seem the woman move at such a speed before. Still she gave a wicked grin before she sprung forward as well,

"With age comes experience!" She shouted back, not at all upset at being called 'old' in a weird way in fact it caused her blood to heat up with excitement. The idea of racing was something she had mentioned offhandedly, but now she was happy that she had.

The tree's rushed passed as they moved, she felt her feet plan themselves firmly on the bark of each branch as they ran and though she was able to keep pace she found that Vollerie was surprisingly fast. The river was rushing up to say hello quite quickly...and she wasn't entirely sure why she suggested they catch fish as something to pass the time she was still going to kick Voll's butt when it came to it.
