Sunday afternoons?
He stroked his chin thoughtfully and then finally nodded. "I can do that. I work sometimes on Sundays, but I figure I can make that work, at least most of the time."
He'd set aside his schedule for this. Though, that probably meant he'd have to have a talk with Raven to discuss where he was going every Sunday. If he kept leaving the house with gardening supplies and shovels, he didn't even want to think what she was going to assume he was up to.
"I look forward to seeing what you do with the place. I'll help out however I can. But in return, you have to show me around this place." He leaned back, looking around. It all pretty much looked the same to him, but he wasn't so good with differentiating plants—especially foreign ones.
"So you have to show me if you ever find anything interesting while you're up here. I want to get a good look. Deal?"

Lenka grinned, nodding. “Of course!” She held out her hand. “Are you ready to go back now? I think I am, but thank you very much for the picnic, it was a lot of fun!”
It really had been, to be honest, she hadn’t had this much fun in quite a long time. She had to go hang out with Jett sometime soon. They had to do something fun together, as Millie and Jett…like they used to. She was going to go visit him at his work one of these days…just barge in.
The senshi let out a laugh at the thought. Oh she was ready indeed. “When you’re ready to go, just take my hand okay? I’m pretty good with going home now, not like last time when I thought I was going to be stuck here forever. That was kind of scary.” With her one hand, Lenka pulled her phone out, hovering her thumb over the home button once again.
She would be back soon. Very soon. And soon…soon she hoped to have this place looking epic!

Jett shoved the rest of his cheeseburger in his mouth and stood, wiping his hands off on his pants. He chewed and swallowed hastily, even as he nodded. "I'm ready," he promised, walking over and taking her hand. "Well, I'm glad you figured everything out for this time."
…Seriously. It was bad enough thinking they were going to be stuck there when he was powered up; he wasn’t sure how he was going to last if he was just a civilian. Just to make sure he didn't accidentally get left here, he took the girl's hand firmly and forced his stomach to calm. So far, space travel hadn't killed him.
His good luck streak wasn't going to end tonight.

Lenka looked up at him and giggled. “I’m not going to leave you behind, I promise!” She pressed down hard on the home button, imagining that they were back in good ol’ Destiny City. She hadn’t really realized that her eyes were closed until she opened them and looked around, grinning. “See? We’re back. Now you shouldn’t ever doubt me again, hah hah!”
The senshi put her phone away and hesitated, hugging Jett quickly. “See you on Sunday! Bring food and gardening supplies, okay?” She pulled away, then bolted, laughing as she did so.
That had been very fun, and she couldn’t wait to do it again

Jett hadn't realized he was holding his breath until his lungs started to burn, but being on earth again—in an atmosphere he understood and trusted, was awesome. He drew in a deep breath, enjoying the refreshing sensation as he watched Lenka run off.
Food and gardening supplies to the park. Well, it wasn't the strangest thing he could be doing on a Sunday afternoon—and he was looking forward to it.
What strange universe was this that he actually looked forward to seeing Lenka?
He shook his head and couldn't resist a smile, though a flash of lighting in the distance kept his pleasure short lived.
They'd been gone for long enough for a storm to roll in—and he gathered that meant it had to be getting late. Looking at his watch confirmed that he should probably be home by now, so without further distractions, he hurried off.
