"Celemorrow." She bowed her head. "That's so harsh."

Beer can, she knew that feel, when you crumpled up and sweat and relied on others' mercy or else you'd burn or decay only to have them break you. Cue Bischofite. Cue Xenotime.

Maybe even Celemorrow?

This...vulnerability threatened to overcome her. How could she stop it?

"Would it really be worth it to leave everything behind?" She met his gaze. "Your friends? Your family?"

Having already distanced himself from his family and not considering himself to have any friends, Celemorrow was not exactly the best one to be sympathetic to this question. Nevertheless, he had his answer.

"I would rather protect my family by leaving them behind than stay and ensure their demise."

"I guess..." She sighed. "I guess that's a fair point, Celemorrow." She smiled. She wiped away the tears. How could she reconcile this? How could she justify her endangerment of friends and family? Surely the Negaverse would discover them if they recognized her identity, and the longer she stayed on this planet as Ruthie and Medea, the more likely that became. She shook. No more tears. Not now. "Thank you."

Celemorrow, you made her confused and lost and wandering, and she felt conflicted about whether or not to accept his claims as truth. Maybe... She said, "I hope we meet again Celemorrow." She drifted to campus. "Thank you for speaking with me. I think things should be clearer but--"

They could never be clear. Not one bit. Crystals fogged. Water muddied.

As he watched her walk away, Sailor Celemorrow remembered the paint on his face and uniform. This was probably going to need a shower to be rid of. Crumpled can in hand, he ran off to put the affairs of the day to rest.
