"Good to see that we've moved past name calling, but I didn't know that we were on a pet name basis, bird brain," the feline huffed, tail giving an offended twitch although he just couldn't seem to bring himself to be anymore agitated. He nibbed on a few more biscuits as he considered their words.
Although both of them had not shown much if any animosity towards him, part of Ace was still expecting them to tie him up in his sleep and drop him off at the nearest law enforcement facility. Besides, he was pretty sure they did not share a common goal, but... it wouldn't hurt to have some company in his travels especially since he had no idea where to begin his search for Twilight. They looked skilled enough, even the glowing sprite, to be of use should they be attacked and they looked wealthy enough for him to freeload off of. They wouldn't want to be associated with a thief after all, he thought mischievously as he patted the mentioned utensil that he had tucked into his clothes.
"I don't suppose you guys will be visiting the Guild of Blood anytime soon," he finally said. He was only half serious of course and shuddered at the thought of being surrounded with bloodthirsty killers. Even if they were most likely the ones closest to House of Twilight, Ace had no intentions of getting murdered in his sleep or caught up in the sinister guild's civil war. "I'm sure this young woman would be able to have all the fun she had wanted there and I'm sure they will be more than happy to show her what can be done with spoons."
"Either way, this calls for a belated introduction," he finally said, blowing stray crumbs from his hands before standing up and and taking off an imaginary hat to perform a mock bow.
