As Truths blew up Mooncake couldn't help but smirk. "I believe the quote is something along the lines of 'the lady doth protest too much, me thinks.'" The fluttered raised a hoof to his mouth as he giggled, wings glimmering as they slowly flapped on his back.
Of course, the allure of haunted house distracted the flutter from truly capitalizing on Hard Truth's distress. "Did you say Haunted house?" The colt quivered with excitement. He needed to see how they depicted the various creatures from his books. Would they have werewolves? Vampires?
He crinkled his nose as his brother proposed Truth's pick. He doubted the uni would be interested in riding anything with any possibility of being scared The flutter turned to stare at the red colt, waiting.

"...Nothing. Nothing's wrong," he answered Acid, trying to sound as calm as he could possibly manage. "I'm...just a little concerned about how carried away you all seem to be getting is all." Concerned because of what it could possibly mean for him. He avoided the green colt's gaze, glancing to some colorful balloons being sold nearby. "Whatever you want to do is fine. Hm...I wonder how many of those we'd have to tie to a flutter before it carried them off. Maybe even just one." Yeeesss, that was it. Subject change. Redirect attention elsewhere.
"Yes, alright, off you go. Let's not waste any more time," he urged. "Pick something and let's start walking. No, no, don't worry about me, Paper," the unicorn told the blue flutter colt. "You lead. I just came here to learn more about the park. You just worry about having yourself some fun."
Oh, phony feathers! Why did these phonies have to know him so well?! Maybe it was a bad idea having chosen them in the first place, but there was nothing to be done about it now. Glaring daggers at Mooncake's smirk, he gave the giggling flutter a little shove and pushed his way to the head of their little group. "Fine. If I'm going to pick first, then the haunted house it is. Pancake seems most interested in that and it sounds like you two are fine with anything as long as we get going, so let's go."
Determined not to waste any more time arguing or talking, the unicorn led the way to said haunted house. Anything would be better than that roller coaster. Anything. The Semblance of Unity (( crying Sorry for the delaaaay. I blame finals and holidays and new years. Hope everyone enjoyed theirs, though!))

Somehow, they reached the Haunted House without further incident. Acid breathed out a sigh of relief. It was a large, imposing building, eerily out of place on the cheerful theme park. His gaze slid over the towers and the darkened entrance. Maybe they should've done games first.... He surreptitiously scooted over to Truths, nudging the red phony. "Want to take bets on who will scream first? I heard this place was extra scary. Wooooo." He chuckled. After all, laughter was the best thing to calm nerves. With sure steps, he walked into the entrance, pleased to see the line was short.

Just looking at the outside of the Haunted House made Paper not want to go in anymore. The screams of people already inside made his big eyes grow even larger. He should have never, ever, ever, ever suggested the Haunted House and now he was gonna have to go through that and the line was super short! Paper took several deep, fortifying breaths and mentally began recalling everything Mooncake had ever told him about things like ghosts and werewolves and the like. His brother tended to prattle on about the inaccuracies in scary movies which took a lot of their scare out of them. Never the less, the blue colt wedged himself in front of his brother and behind Acid, so his front and flank were protected. He swallowed hard. "Oh boy..Haunted House...yay..."(OOC: Don't anyone suggest them not doing the HH because Paper seems scared! Let's go forth and enjoy this adventure!)

As the haunted house was decided upon Mooncake struggled to hide his excitement. It was the first thing he'd be interested in right off the bat. The monsters made of rubber and metal. He couldn't imagine them having the possibility to scare anyone. In his mind it was much more like going to see an art gallery. All displays were sculptures of fantastic and somewhat menacing beasts. He could barely keep himself from giggling excitedly as he zoomed past the rest of his group towards the ride.
"Good to know you aren't a scaredy cat, Truths!" He called, glad the red uni had decided that this was the ride they should take. He was rather unaware of his brother's discomfort though, too wrapped up in his own excitement.
He glanced over his shoulder and snickered as he got into line. "Hmm, I think it'll be... I dunno. How are you at handling scares anyway, Acid?"

"Hmph...I wouldn't want to cheat the flutter brothers out of their lunch money," Truths answered Acid with an amused huff in response to taking bets, thinking about the little pouches each flutter had tied to their hooves. "But for the sake of predictions, I'd bet on Paperweight."
Sure enough, a glance to the blue colt told Truths his guess was very likely. Grinning, he said, "Don't worry, Paper. I'm sure your protective big brother will ward off the monsters with his insatiable curiosity of them. Probably be asking what kinds of ghosts they are and how long they've been dead," he added teasingly with a roll of his eyes.
When he looked to Mooncake, though, the purple foal was already rushing past them all. So much for 'protective big brother'. "I'm insulted to think you ever doubted me," he called back with a mild undertone of playfulness. "The fact that we go in expecting to be scared kind of kills the whole thing for me. Like not being tickled when you're anticipating it."
