At least her home world had SOME inkling of life, if possible astral projected tigers could be considered 'life', otherwise it was nothing but an overgrown jungle. Not destroyed, thankfully, but certainly neglected and abandoned... for a reason. Strange how talking to Ilmenite suddenly made her homesick, and at least it was something to look forward to.
"Maybe, but I haven't run into a single one that sought to harm them either. So either you're living in the past and can't let things go, or we have a mysterious organization working in the shadows trying to pit us against each other. Or you're drunk." Tsui scoffed at the very notion of senshi and knights on her side attacking civilians. Attacking the Negaverse and Dark Mirror Court, absolutely possible, but she refused to believe that members of her own court, as disorganized and hopeless as they may appear at times, would ever resort to that. That alone would have been the final straw and the open invitation she was given was so very, very tempting. She even reeled back her hand to strike him, but she couldn't. Not just because of his words and the surprisingly clarity they brought despite coming from a drunk man, but because she knew it wouldn't have helped. It would have made matters worse, wouldn't it?
It reminded her too much of her days as a Super, running around and pushing fights and violence onto others... and she didn't want to think about it. As much as it damaged her pride not to knock this guy out, she had to walk away. She hated it, and she felt like a coward, but she knew she was doing the right thing when she dropped the fist and instead, gave a waving motion as if to try and get rid of some bad air. "No, you're offending me with that terrible smell of alcohol and smoke... but that's no excuse to strike you. Just... don't go around hurting people, because when you do, I'll be more than happy to break that jaw of yours!"
It felt strange to walk away, but it had to be right. It had to be what was best... if they ever planned on making peace with their enemy. Peace that she still believed to be impossible, but was willing to give it some hope, if not got herself than for others.
