Alexander had other things to be doing, but that didn't mean he was about to miss out on the undead meeting as well! So, on his way by towards the monster dorms, he dropped off a large box held in his arms and shuffled on up to the ballot table.



He then turned towards those already gathered and discussing ideas.

"Hey, exhume....I like it! I was thinking something along the lines of playing up on our perseverance and endurance and...well you know, undead don't sleep, never stop....." His voice trailed off as mismatched eyes took in the group of various dorm mates he'd never actually met before, and the couple that he had.

"I'm Alexander, the current Student Council's PR." He of course knew Christof as one of the past Student Council representatives, and had met Angenora ages back. Olivia was given a cheerful wave and a gesture to come nearer.

"As for a mascot, I think worm or maggot are both excellent suggestions, but what about something that represents the greatest most famous undead of all, Jack Skellington? A skeleton would be an excellent choice as well, in my opinion."

At this point Alex dug out his phone and checked the time. Okay he still had a few minutes before he needed to be on his way.....totally had time to chat a bit.

Angenora gasped lightly when she heard the familiar voice. "Alex! It has been quite some time! How've you been?" she said as if she was talking a mile a second. She nodded in agreement as she listened to his ideas."I never thought of it like that before." She said as she thought about the skeleton idea.

"So your name is christof? Pleasure to meet you!" She said happily as she felt at home around all the undead students. "Steffani? What a lovely name you have." She commented with a light giggle.

The mute Igor gave a grunt and a polite bow, as was fitting for a subserviant creature, although he didn't look pleased about the motion, just doing so by instinct.

His hands moved in a series of motions, but to his dismay not many people knew sign language.

Instead, he filed through his phone before typing something up, and held the phone out for whoever was nearest to read for him.

'Exhume = 'to dig up', also sort of nod toward our nature, rising from the grave. Could look it up in Latin.'

He wasn't sure about Jack Skellington. He was a fan, yes, but he would have much preferred the reknown Dr. Finklestein.

Alas.

Elium had slipped in quietly, though his humanbot hadn't managed to do the same. The clunky thing made an awful racket as its assigned...guide tucked himself away from the main body of the meeting, watching the proceedings and all the while internally cringing at the bot. He'd been doing a good job of temporarily ignoring its quips and attempts to sell him something--it seemed to have latched on to organs lately, and he wasn't quite sure why. Perhaps it was harping on the whole 'undead' thing. That seemed a bit racist.

He'd hang back and fidget against the wall, it seemed. They were voting for something, he knew, but Elium was more than a little nervous about giving any opinion on a house color or anything of the sort. Not only had he just gotten here, but it very well could be said that he was colorblind--everything was red-tinted, and he figured that would be a bit of a problem, here.

Elium gave a start at the address, standing up a bit straighter as he looked around for the source of the voice--only to remember that looking down was, in fact, a thing. Now that he'd successfully located Monty, he mentally repeated the comment, managing not to squirm in place by some slight miracle.

"They're--yeah. M'not real sure how I even got mine, but? I guess I can put up with 'im for a little while."
"That's the spirit, sport! I can even find you some more patience, if that's what you want! Take it or leave it, that's my final offer!" the bot chirped, the grin painted on its face only making that all the more unsettling to the lanky undead.
"...I'm workin' on it, really."

Alex gave Olivia a one armed hug/squeeze when she approached, because even if they didn't know each other well, he still considered her a friend, and friends got one armed hugs from too tall zombies. He then let his arm drop down from her and gave Angenora a broad grin. "I've been great! You?" He asked before turning towards the newcomers and giving them friendly smiles as well.

"Don't be shy! Your opinions are just as important as anyones!"

With one other boil agreeing with him that Jack Skellington was most excellent indeed, Alex let out a bit of a laugh. "Right?"

And then yet another newcomer arrived, throwing in his own two cents on the matter. "Wow ya that is a great idea as well! A skeleton with maggots and worms crawling around in it's rib cage and eye sockets. Frightfully gruesome." He wiggled a set of skeletal fingers at this proclamation and laughed some more.

"You know what guys I'd love to stay and chat some more but..." He lifted up his phone to look at the time again.

"..........I really need to go and start the monster dorm meeting." With an apologetic look, he began shuffling back and out of the room.

"I trust you all to do me proud in your choice! Go team undead!" He called out, with yet another chuckle as he bent down to retrieve his box, and then hurriedly began to boot it out of the common room and towards the exit to the dorm.

The monster dorm was so far away ugh why had he chosen to do their meeting again??

Lee looked at the paper, trying to make sense of the words. He'd learned the menu at the cafe, but otherwise, the learning was slow.

He wrote the letters of his name shakily, then looked around, and after a lot of hesitation and embarrassment, just pocketed the slip of paper, and listened.

They were deciding on words, that would belong to all of them.

"Rise Up," he repeated, hoarse and careful.

Though it pulled her away from finally figuring out what exhume meant (you tried, Christof, you tried), Olivia very much liked the hug from the zombie boil. It felt nice even though they didn't know each other very well, enough for her to lean into him for full effect. He was gone though, soon after, but that was fine because he had things to do; positions of power apparently made creeple very busy.

Olivia remained where she was, watching all the while with not much of an opinion on their needed motto or symbol; mostly since she didn't really know what to suggest or go with. She stared, she smiled, she stood and watched, letting all the action drift around her.

And then she noticed the rather hyper looking Zquirrel make its way in, looking and searching for what she didn't know. Her eyes remained on it, not moving as he continued to scamper about. It wasn't until its little behind began wiggling that she noticed something was attached to it. Oh, her eyes widened. So, the small ghoul walked herself over and leaned down to grab at the piece of paper affixed to it.

- oh, it was a note. Oh, wait it was that form thing they all filled out. And it had more written down. "Can't keep us down," she read aloud as she made her way to the box to submit the form.
