Tybalt might have squeaked when Victoria appeared him, but he definitely jumped and fell onto the ground. Fortunately, he quickly recovered, pulling Wally in between them both as his ghost meat shield.
"What's the mirror for?" He asked, still holding the whale ghost in place. Who got a curious look when he spoke, asking about the name of the mascot.
"I dunno. I'm not good with names. So long as its not something like Captain Spangle Pants, I don't really care."

She'd barely been assigned a room when the dorm meeting was plastered all over everything. Mandatory too. Katrine was still getting used to the campus and coming to terms with her lack of any memory besides those beginning a few days ago... to be called to a general meeting was at once uncomfortable and curious. When she arrived, the spiel was delivered and she was left to wonder at the best colours to choose to represent her fellow ghosts. She dislike overly bright or saturated colours, they were too full of life for her. Black, however, was a possibility. Something in the greyscale perhaps? She took the ballot required and drifted over to perch on the back of a couch along the edge as she considered the very important choice. While the students conversed, Katrine kept having to force herself to look back at her paper. Colour vote... She bit her lip. What was the purpose of this anyway? The answer was very vague. So many secrets here, hidden agendas and shifty words. At length she scrawled out her answer in block letters. Rising, she phased through a few of the other students on her way to the ballot box and dropped it in. Quote: HOUSE COLOUR VOTEStudent Name: Katrine House Colour Vote: Pale Grey and Lime Green Finished with the first task at hand, Katrine moved over to the group to hover just behind Wally with a look of curiosity upon her face. "What's a superhero?" She smiled, "I suggest Libertas in Obitum for the motto or perhaps Death Becomes You?"

He was wearing a suit again. Neatly pressed, white, professional, Frost in the Storm wanted to be presentable and formal- for a school event. Sure, he knew that it would probably be better for him to just dress and act more casually, but this was a position of leader ship, a step to becoming an alpha. He would not look anything short but the best he could. He even brushed his hair that morning. At the introduction, he bowed to the students out of habit, smiling. His tail was even giving a tiny ting wag of excitement, betraying his deeper feelings of enthusiasm. "Good day to you all. Like my companions here I am happy to provide assistance to any who might need it. My service and skills are at your disposal, and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Again, I would be more than happy to help." His tail picked up with it's wagging as he noticed a few familiar faces. Friends. Hello friends did you see him? he was up doing the thing hello friends.wagwagwagwagwagwagwagQuote: Frost is here, very excited and happy to see you all. Wally's eyes lit up at the ghoul's question. "Superheroes are... heroes! They fly around and defeat the bad guys and save the damsels! Sometimes the get medals or even the key to the city! A whole city! I want a key to a city. They pretty much save the world." He vibrated under Tybalts arm as he got more excited, and the fast he talked the more spirit puffed up from his mouth and floated around him.
He was just really happy to talk about it, okay?

Victoria suddenly found herself face to face with another ghost.
"... Hello, sir," She smiled at Wally, curtsying before looking thoughtful as she mulled over the ghost dog's question, "Is there really a need for a reason as to why someone should own a mirror?"
Biased mirror ghost was biased.
There were several new arrivals. She turned to them, "Do you good sirs and misses think that our mascot needs a mirror?" Her eyes say yes.

"They rescue cities and receive keys for saving damsels?" Katrine looked perplexed, "How does that help our cause? Fear drives us... does it not? Unless you mean a hero of fear, of course. An agent of sorrow and terror sewing seeds of destruction across the land." She grinned, "A valiant effort that would be. Is flight the only requirement then?"
The question posed to her was an interesting one - was a mirror required? Mirrors reflected sharp truth... perhaps it was applicable. "If the mascot belonged in a mirror and reflected a terrifying truth, perhaps. Is the purpose to entertain like a fool would or to intimidate like an executioner?"

"Why does it need a mirror?" Oooh, cause this girl was a mirror ghost. Well there could be a mirror, but not all ghost were associated with mirrors. Eira frowned to herself and decided to not speak up on the topic anymore. She then turned to Katrine and her motto. "Ohh that's really pretty. Both the latin and common version of that would be a good motto." Her ribbons starting to act on their own again reached out for the ghoul's hair. It was so pretty... looked squishy. Touchtouchtouch.

New faces in the crowd had the boil floating out and trying not to hit anyone with his minor tag wagging. Introductions were key! Not to mention they might not feel so comfortable in the dorms as of yet- or at Amity for that matter. "Also, I would like to extend my personal hello to you all. I don't think I have had the pleasure of meeting you before now." Another bow, Frost went to each student in turn, offering his hand to shake. He'd been trained well. At the mirror ghost's question Frost gave a small shrug. "I am withholding my opinions on the matter of mascots and colors and such. A position of power breeds a sense of weight to my words that is rather undeserving. I would counter to ask why does a mirror qualify to represent us, and if it does not, why not. The pros and cons are things to consider in all decisions."

Kier had never been to a dorm meeting, in fact she had rarely been at the dorms at all considering she was still rather a fresh face at the school. She took this as a sign that she would be meeting everyone in the dorm and with all hopes get to know some faces that she passed in the hallway. She quickly scribbled her favorite colours on the ballet and stuck in the box before she decided to go get nosey. As the ghost dog had sat on the floor and doodled, Kier leaned over to look at it. The wisp was actually pretty badass in her opinion better than what a superhero was, the only downside was it need some more reds, or an orange versus the blue in her opinion. "Nope, I don't think it needs a mirror. Personally I think the wisp is pretty cool but then again floating skull head is pretty badass. As for the superhero.." Kier replied looking at the whale ghost which eyebrow raised, "I don't think I need some boil saving me in distress from some badguy, I would rather kick the badguy's butt first buutt.. if there is a cool super hero name then I guess it would be ok." She replied as she punched her right hand into the palm of her left, there was no way she was going to let some lame boil save her anyways. Victoria was still not used to the idea of handshakes, especially from a boil, but Muka did tell her that the culture here was different. And it wasn't the fist boil-handshake she had. Matron wouldn't blame her. She's still a good ghoul.
"I am Victoria Marie Bloodworth, but I go by Victoria," She introduced herself before waiting for the boil's name. All the answers to her mirror question were so... So... Amazing. Such depth! Such smarts! Such complicated answers.
The little mirror ghost was definitely very impressed.
"Matron told me that in many films made to scare humans, they often use a mirror," She tried to sound as logical as the others did, since they didn't seem to be buying her 'because mirrors are really cool' argument, "Where the human looks into a mirror, and there's nothing there because many ghosts do not have a reflection-" How sad, "-but when they turn around, BOO!" She threw her arms up in the air, "A ghost! Or they see movement out of the corner of their eye, and when they look into a mirror, the ghost is there, staring, watching, reaching..."

The vote of confidence for her motto made Katrine blink and she looked around to find another girl looking at her. The ribbons wriggled and writhed, reaching for her hair. Katrine allowed it, though the temperature was frosty and thick with grief and sorrow that creeped along the ribbons' length. "Thank you. Other thoughts?" At the R.A.'s comment she shrugged, "I would argue, sir, that choosing a symbol too specific would take too long. Themes are important - a mirror is a reflection, an echo of life and a portal into a world untouched or unknown. It could apply... but I would also say that it would act best a frame and not an object for the mascot." Her preference clearly lay in the more serious nature of such symbols. "It is our crest, our battle standard, if I understand correctly." She fell silent as she thought, drifting through thoughts of means by which to represents ghosts and not a particular sub species. With what little exposure she had had thus far, and the innate knowledge that waters had claimed her, she knew the symbols would be more appropriate if they were tactile in nature. "Perhaps a wil'o'wisp in a frame of some sort? The actual creature would be the wisp, the crest the whole symbol."

lizbot O uO HELLO FROM THE GHOST DORMS WOO Oniongrump AMARUS NODS IN APPROVAL hi <3 WHOEVER would like to interact with a paper airplane thrown by an RA Amarus has tossed a paper airplane folded out of a ballot that says "MOTTO IS 'WILL DANCE 4 MEMRIES'" Amarus' staring led her to watch, with an eerie intensity, the ghoul who didn't volunteer any suggestions as to their mascot. She made her way over to Reese with the most brief of glances at Amrita to see if anyone would stop her from circulating. "Do you not have any suggestions?" she asked, smiling faintly, though it didn't quite reach her mirror-empty eyes. "I do not mean to pressure you, but if you feel more comfortable suggesting on paper," Amarus nodded her head at the ballot paper, "perhaps you can slip us a suggestion and we can read it for you. Or have someone read it aloud. I do not particularly care for, ah, writing things down, but perhaps you are not like me." With that, Amarus walked away, her bells ringing as she went to greet Siobhan.
"I have hardly seen you in a very long time-- thank you for the enthusiasm," she said, with a more genuine smile than she would have previously been able to manage. "In any case, I do not want to take up much of your time, I merely wanted to greet you again after such a long while." Amarus flitted off again, stepping as she did on the air above the ground.
Tybalt was the only one to produce a drawing of his idea so far, and Amarus nodded approvingly at the concept; it wasn't that she personally liked it, but she was trying very hard to be supportive-- and it DID look good, that was certainly true. She thought. She had not previously had much fashion sense or aesthetic taste apart from whatever came natural to her, but she did really like the design in general.
After circulating the room a few times, making sure no one was being injured by the excitement of choosing slogans and logos (because, naturally, if anyone insulted anyone else's idea Amarus would quite happily intervene) she went to say hello quietly to Frost, having gathered a ballot not to fill out but to scrawl something on as she spoke to him. "Your suit becomes you," she complimented Frost, "and I look forward to being RAs together, the three of us." Amarus smiled. She then folded the paper into an airplane, and tossed it lazily out at the ghost students gathered.
Her eyes narrowed as she heard a speech pattern that was unfamiliar to her. She slipped quietly over to where Katrine was asking about ... well, something odd. "What is this about fools? And did you see Tybalt's suggestion of the wisp? I did see that he had drawn one. I think." Amarus waved at Tybalt as if trying to ask him to show the ghoul.
Finally, Amarus snuck over to Keir to greet the ghoul. She didn't think they had met before, but she whispered quietly: "I do not much like to be saved by any gender of creature, even genderless-- except for that one time with Medea, that was a welcome intervention-- " Amarus trailed off, pressing one finger to her lips. "In any case, if you would perhaps like to train with me, please let me know-- I can always use someone who has a fire in them for fighting." She excused herself again and returned to stand near Frost.
"Frost, I am trying very hard not to fall asleep. If I do, would you wake me."

The ribbons pulled away, cold was something they could get use to but that... that was the coldest thing they ever touched. It made a chill run down Eira's spine as she reeled them in close to her body... Not that they argued.
She watched as another ghost dog came into join the group discussion. So bold and so proud. She watched as she punched a fist to her palm. Wow... she was really cool too. And her boots, so cute! Ugh.... this was no time to think about fashion her attention turned back towards the group.

Siobhan stopped her panic ridden mumbling as Amarus took a moment to talk with her, teal iris's glowing in glee. "AH! Yes! Hello again, friend!" She squealed, gripping her in a hug. In fact, while Amarus may have thought Siobhan was gone after she walked away, the banshee was in fact now clinging to her ankle and letting herself and her hair get dragged across the floor.

Rosy floats her way towards the gathering in which most of the other ghost were at. Her red eyes taking them all in for a brief moment, recognizing a few of them. She was curious as to what this was all about, but kept herself quiet as she thought things over for a brief moment. This might actually be fun, and it would give her a chance to meet a few of the others from her dorms.
Quickly writing down her opinion on what the colors should be, she cast her vote before she glance towards the others. She couldn't help but smirk at everything going on.
Seriously, why didn't she spend more time at the ghost dorms?Quote: HOUSE COLOUR VOTEStudent Name: Rosy House Colour Vote: Blue & White
