A piece of cheese was sticking out of her mouth when Orah asked her question. Which meant the manx had to gobble it up as quickly as possible. Out of the side of her mouth, she seemed to make the remainders of her current snack vanish.
"Well... I did run several tests..." What kind of Mauvian would she be if she didn't run tests on the tech she just helped repair?
"From the tests, I gathered that it actually is a scanning device for the newest of senshi and knights. It seems to cover a five mile area... I could run a few more tests if you want to get a better idea... but I think it might be better in your hands at this point for further tests."
As innocently as she could, the cat seemed to scoot towards the next victim in her devouring spree. Ham sandwich, it had her name on it!

Orah's eyes widened and she looked up with an excited expression.
"It finds new senshi and knights? *********, that's perfect!" She squealed as she dived for the manx, sweeping her up in a huge hug before dropping her back onto the ham sandwich she'd been making for.
"I need to try this..." She said as she fiddled with the buttons, just a little disappointed when nothing happened. Maybe she needed to be powered up or something... A smile stretched wide on her face as she bounced to her feet, trotting over to the sliding glass door to tug it open.
"Hey, do you want to come with, or stay here and finish eating? I want to go out and try this thing out. I can help you get out when I get back, or I can leave the door to the balcony open so you can get out that way."

Well that was a rush!
She had not quite succeeded in sliding up to the ham sandwich when she was rather quickly swept up into the air and squeezed for a hug, then rather promptly dropped onto her momentary goal. It was a good thing that cats landed on their feet, otherwise it could have been an even more glorious disastrous mess.
The mere suggestion of going with Orah to play with the tool would have usually been met with an eager response. However, there was food to be eaten.
With large kitten eyes, she replied "...Normally I would love to assist... but... I'm actually feeling kind of hungry..." Nevermind the fact she had already eaten quite a decent amount of food. There was still room in her stomach and it wasn't everyday she got a banquet.
"...I would prefer staying... if you could leave the door to the balcony open, that would be greatly appreciated."

Orah might have felt bad about being so rough with the guardian, but she was too excited to think about anything but the new 'toy' in her hands. This was even better than Christmas...
When ********* decided to stay behind, the teen padded back across the room for another, more gentle hug this time.
"Thank you, *********, again. It really means a lot to me that you went through the trouble to repair this machine for me. I know its going to be super useful for finding and training those newbies who are so vulnerable when they first awaken... Thank you. So much." She said fervently as she released the cat, reaching to straighten up the food and make it easier for ********* to reach. If she wasn't coming with, then she wanted to make her as comfortable as possible while the senshi was out and about.
"Please make yourself at home while you're here. It would probably be best if my family didn't see you, but even if they did, I think I could convince them I'm kitty sitting or something like that... Stay as long as you like, I should only be gone for an hour or two." Reaching, the teen gave the guardian a scratch behind her ears before she bounced up again and out onto her balcony.
"I'll see you later!" She waved over her shoulder before Orah pulled out her henshin pen, a familiar phrase calling up a familiar purple glow and change for the second time tonight. The newly transformed Ida clutched the tracker to her chest with a grin, seeing dots of light appear across the screen. Excitement filled her and with a gravity defying leap, she was off into the dark of the neighborhood to test out her newest crime fighting gadget.
