Wolfie flipped through her archive of work related number, running her finger down the page and looking for the official ones that she needed. Her general time planner, personal phonebook, and work planner were also laid out on the desk next to her as she quickly scribbled numbers onto the form. She debated also putting down the hours during which she would be available at each of the different locations, but realized that she was completely out of room. Well, if Caden got into some sort of accident, they were just going to have to call all of the numbers, or they could ask him. While she might have been lax when it came to other things, she made sure that he could recite her working hours and the two general building numbers, so he would always know where to call if he was home alone and something happened. She folded the paper, neatly creasing it with her thumbnail before sliding it into an envelope.
Admittedly, she was the slightest bit worried about anything that would have Caden out and about without her, but she couldn't take him to work with her, so he was home alone most of the time anyway. He needed something to get him out of the house, or at least away from his two favorite places, the couch and in bed. Plus, the socialization would be benificial and peer pressure might motivate him to do something other than laze around all day. Ah the power of conformity! Sometimes, it really wrecked people, but the rest of the time, it instilled peace, goodwill, and the desire to accomplish something.
Caden, who was at the moment sitting on the couch and staring mindlessly at a History Channel tape on the Roman Colluseum, was completely unaware of the things to come.
