He wiped at his one good eye and under his eyes patch, revealing a pure black eyeball, before he lifted the patch back down again. If anyone was passing by, he might just look like a sad, oddly-dressed teen crying to himself with a cat.
"If she doesn't want you, then she doesn't want your protection. You shouldn't waste your time with someone who doesn't want you. Why not protect someone who needs it and would praise you? We have plenty of senshi who desire a cat for just that. We guard them and protect them, but never as well as a guardian cat such as yourself." He was lying through his damn teeth at this point, but if there was trouble in this cat's wonderland, then it came as a great asset to bring him to them.
"Though........... Ah. No. It's a silly idea. Forget it." He said, sneezing again and covering his noise.
He did have another idea. If he couldn't have a cat, then a senshi would be just as good.

Thetis watched as Wolframite shifted his eyepatch but the feline didn't seem to notice anything was off before the eyepatch went back over the eye. Wolframite was definitely right though. Everything he was saying was the feelings that Thetis had but couldn't bring himself to admit. If there were senshi out there who wanted him, why did he cling to a senshi who had all the guardian cat she needed?
It hurt but the thought of leaving Psyche behind hurt more. He felt complete when she was around, and if he could only look on from the sidelines then that's what he did. It didn't make things any easier though, and the temptations that Wolframite had an obvious effect on Thetis. He shifted uneasily until his ears perked up.
"What is it?"

He shook his head with a smile. "It's really silly. Just..." He stopped, looking over at the cat. "Well, I never like seeing a sad cat no matter what side, and you seem to have the purest intent at heart. Seems a shame to have you waste your time on someone who takes you for granted. I just thought that maybe they should see how important you are. You are a guardian cat after all. It's in your job description that you are a valuable protector." Wolframite felt rather smart with himself for being clever as he wasn't usually the time to think of big plans. That was something for Zink to play with, but it gave the General a bit of pride at his own ideas when they came.
"Well, how about you bring your senshi here to this park. I can pretend to be the big bad General. Then you can show up and save the day?" He had to make sure to keep the kitten from being too worried.
"I won't even have to do much but be there and be scary. Then once you come in, I can run away. Just imagine it. You save the day and your own scared senshi will know that you saved their life, protected them, and feel ssooo grateful for having you there to save them in the nick of time that she will never take you for granted ever again." He said with a smile, before sneezing again and again and once more. It was really getting hard to see.

The idea was definitely compelling to Thetis. He wanted Psyche to love and appreciate him so bad. It wouldn't be so bad, would it? He could come to the rescue and then Psyche would love him! He looked up at Wolframite with large, green eyes. He was excited but then apprehension hit him too. What if that wasn't enough to win her love? Maybe she would get upset that he got in her way! Maybe she'd just wish it was ********* who'd saved her.
"What if she doesn't though?" He asked with a bit of panic.
