I've never seen a vulture outside of a zoo. I live in the northern US so it's a bit too cold for me to have vultures around. wink They are funny looking. I always think of the movie "Homeward Bound' where a turkey is described as a Rottweiler with it's head run over. Vultures kind of have a similar thing going for them lol. And yet they're kinda cute too.
Gah I envy your Irish-ness! I'm a redhead with freckles and I always get asked if I'm Irish. (I'm mostly German FYI.) I even go to the St. Andrew's Society Highland Games (which leans towards Scottish but has love for the Irish too). You are SOOO lucky! whee Not to stereotype, but do you like bagpipes? I love them but no one else ever seems to.

I never played the third game. sweatdrop I did play the fifth which was awesome since it was the first game where they completely rendered out the Hogwarts grounds. heart It was so cool watching the movies after that and realizing how all those scenes connected... whee
Hippogriffs are cool creatures. Their respect for others as well as the respect they require towards them make them more than just some dumb pack animal. I like the adorable chirpy caw noises they make too. Where would Sirius have been without one of them around? wink

Well while blast ended skewets are powerful they're not terribly bright animals. One of the things I require when liking a magical creature is a certain level of basic intelligence. 3nodding It's implied that no amount of niceties or dedication get through to them despite hard work on the part of the students involved with them. I can't imagine using something that stubborn and well, dangerous as a weapon. neutral They'd blow up their own army with them, ya know?
And something killing regardless of race or gender does not make it a good thing... Besides, that statement could be said for a lot of the more majestic predators, such as dragons. I don't see why a Dark Lord wouldn't choose dragons over Skewets. xp

Draco totally had it coming. He should've been polite when he was warned. But his father did hear about that incident, didn't he? Good old Malfoy and his predictable behavior. rofl
I never got to play many of the games unfortunately. sad I did once try to build a replica of Hogwarts in The Sims though. That was ridiculously hard! I think I did OK considering. 3nodding

I always thought they were just very full of personality. The way they move and chase each other around is really funny, especially to a small girl on a ranch. I do, in fact, have a great love of bagpipes. For some reason I get asked if I'm Russian quite a fair amount of the time. I don't really know why, maybe because of my interest in the slavic countries, but still. I'm fairly sure I look pretty Irish!

It's fun for me. heart I love games that let me build and design homes. emotion_kirakira I have helped design so many homes for family and friends on Gaia because of that love. I wish they would release multiple rooms in Gaia Homes so I could do more with each place... mrgreen
In the original Sims I built tons of stuff. My favorite building was actually a shopping mall.

I always wanted to grow up on a farm. I suppose it was a bit rural where I was. We still had dirt roads when I was first growing up and people would ride their horses down the street. We had so many wild animals (well small stuff like birds and bunnies anyhow).
Oh you're fond of the Slavic areas of the world? I'm basically a jumble of those! whee I'm mostly German with healthy doses of Serbian, Slovenian and a touch of Russian.

Well no one said dragons are easy to control. But in the overall scheme of things they're more reliable. As I said before, the Skewets are powerful but they're not very versatile. Plus, dragons can fly, their hides are near impenetrable and they have a strong magical defense. Their natural defenses (fangs, claws, fire/acid and armor) make them useful. I suppose if the Skewets were used as disposable fodder it'd be one thing. But once things got serious it'd be better to bring in stronger, more intelligent creatures. wink
Oh and Dark Lord is not a singular title James. It's a title for any dark wizard of note. For example, Gellert Grindlewald was the Dark Lord extraordinaire before Voldemort came into power. There have been many, many Dark Lords in the history of magic. whee

It was quite the experience, to say the least. I suppose it gave me a different view of the world. People seem to be fascinated when I tell them as I hurry along the city where I live in heels with a latte in my hands. To bring it back to Harry Potter! It made it quite convenient to make-believe I was surrounded by all sorts of magical things. That's quite the mix! Serbia is actually one of my fascinations, and the whole of the former Yugoslavian countries.

I'm just ditzy like that sweatdrop they did release more rooms but its at the cost of gold for a larger place and for more rooms(larger place increases each room size and the other is obvious)

I was aware of the larger sized homes (which take forever to load and lag BADLY). I had not heard of their being separate rooms in Gaia Homes (i.e. clicking on a door to enter a different area in the same home/flash space). Are you sure both of those exist James? ninja
Randomly, you didn't address my earlier comments to you in reference to Dark LordS. Did I clear up some confusion there? If not I could go into greater detail on their history. mrgreen
