Amphi leaned her head in at Lizzy's pettings before frowning. "I had a good time to grieve after hear death, and I had a good friend take me out for coffee and such and help me realize that it could've been worse." She was of course thinking of Thana. At the mention of Roch, she closed her eyes and sighed again.
"I was flipping and flopping between him and Thana as crushes. Thana is so mature and gentlemanly, I still really like him, and I'm lucky to consider him a friend. And Thana helped me grow in a lot of ways. And then Roch came in, and sang to me and just i dont' know...entranced me. He had this whole bad boy thing and he had a lot of sweet moments. I am just sad it ended...so terrible." She burrowed her head in Lizzy's hair.
"It's okay Lizzy, you are one of my closest friends, and I know even if we don't see each other a lot, that we are busy with all of our own stuff." Amphi wrapped her arms around Lizzy, "And you're here now, and we are eating spookies and stuff." Her eyes though lit..."Swimming?"

"I'm glad you had time to grieve..." Lizzy gave Amphi a slight squeeze, looking slightly confused at the mention of a name she did not recognize, "... Thana? Well, anyway, I'm glad you sorted out your thoughts!" Or at least it sounded that way to her, "Regarding Roch... Who knows? Maybe you'll be friends again in the future."
That was all she could say. These things are hard to predict.
"Yes, swimming," She smiled; a small, small part of her was starting to regret bringing it up, but it was too late to turn back now, "I've been practicing floating. I think I'm getting better at it." Floating. Not swimming.

"Thana! Thanatos, he is a reaper with his snake named Biskoto." Amphi whispered, "He is the best. Or one of the best." She nodded. "Maybe, We won't know until the future happens." She hesitated before nodding.
And then Lizzy's smile fell and Amphi could see the trepidation at the mention of swimming.
Aw her friend...
HER FRIEND.
"We don't have to swim! We can't wait and then get Xiu again and I will help you guys swim again! That way we can make it another play date." Her hands reached out over to Lizzy, "How about Eye scream?"

"It's been an awfully long time since I saw Xiu... I wonder how she's been?" Lizzy mused, looking thoughtful as she smiled, holding the mermaid's hands, "I would like that. Both of that. The swimming play date, and eye scream."
She was glad and relieved that Amphi understood how difficult it was for her to get into the water... Sure, she had fun the last time, but she needed to get into the water first. It just wasn't natural for her. Spiders don't swim! But maybe they can float around, and enjoy good company.

"I...I haven't seen her since she helped me with...my last problem. Xiu is actually the reason I have my voice again." Her ear fins dropped, "I haven't ever properly thanked her either." The mermaid suddenly felt bad.
"Let's get Eye scream today then, and then find Xiu and swim later. UM OH! I can get you guys....those big floaties! They let you sit in them and have a hole in the middle so that you let your feet dangle. That'll be better anyways." Amphi smiled, tugging Lizzy up and towards the door.
"OH! need money. Just a second." She let go and the disappeared in her closet where a lot of noises came from before reappearing with a small satchel for her silver seeds. "Do you want to go to the cafeteria? or the town?"

"Aw..." Lizzy patted Amphi lightly on the back of her hand, offering a smile, "It's about time we get together and do something then! We can drop Xiu a text today, and ask her out~" She stood up, and moved to the door, waiting patiently for her friend to get back from the closet.
"I've heard rumors about cafeteria food," She made a face, briefly sticking out her tongue, "Something about it coming to life if you leave it alone for too long... So, uh, if you don't mind, I would rather go to a place in town."
