Chal needs 14+ to hit Oulixes.
Roll to hit: 13 + 6 = 19, hits
Roll for dmg: (6 + 6 )/4 = 3

Another swift strike from Oulixes that caused Chal to stumble back a step in the sand before he once more tried to counter attack. There wasn't as much power behind it as he would like, most likely due to the aches and pains he was feeling, but he was still doing his best to land a hit against the rather speedy swordsman. If nothing else this battle was telling him that he was going to have to train himself to be quicker once this was all over so that he would be able to keep up with people like Oulixes in battle in the future.

Hoping to push his attack Oulixes lunged forward toward the Shifter, his weapons coming toward him in swift archs... and much to his disappointment they bounced off the man's heavy shield once more. Making a bit of a face he took a couple bouncing steps backwards and lifted his weapons to prepare for what Chal did next. He had to stay on his toes, remain prepared, and look for another opening in which to strike if he wanted to end this battle swiftly.

As Chal swung at the other man, using a lot of power behind the attack, he felt it whiff right over Oulixes's head. No luck in that attack but that didn't mean that he was about to give up, not yet. Instead he shifted his stance, lifted his shield up, and prepared for the next incoming attack from the other man.

Another swing from Oulixes, another miss. It was obvious that the both of them were starting to get winded from all of the powerful attacks that they were launching at each other. It had become a dance of swinging, dodging, and blocking that one of them was going to falter in, it was just a matter of time, but at the moment it was impossible to tell who it would be that faltered first...

Drawing in a deep breath the Massif prepared himself, pushing passed his pain, and threw himself forward into a charge, using his weight and that of the shield to move in a quick manner, moving toward Oulixes. He would do his best to try to give the swordsman a good slam, wanting to try to stagger him once more...

Oulixes attempts to dodge.
14 + 5 = 19 - 5 = 14, full dmg and he is down.
Oulixes saw the attack coming, did his best to try to get out of the way of it, and then gave a bit of a gasp when the shield connected... and he remembered nothing else after that. The swordsman went flying through the air once more, landing in the sand of the arena, and he didn't stir, obviously unconscious from the well placed blow...

Chalcedony winced when Oulixes hit the sands before he waited for him to rise once more... before realizing that the guy was likely down for the count. After a moment, hearing the announcer call the match and the crowd roaring, he put his heavy shield on his back and walked over to where Oulixes was laying, "Eesh, sorry about that... maybe I put a bit too much power before that last swing." He said, squatting down before he scooped the man up into his arms, heading out of the arena with him, "This is becoming an odd habit, isn't it?" He mused to himself. First he pummeled his friends and then he saw about carrying them out of the ring and bringing them to see a healer. First Rishima, now Oulixes, and he couldn't help but to wonder what might happen next round... he wouldn't worry about it yet though, instead more worried about getting the unconscious Oulixes to a healer to be patched up.
Once he was outside of the arena he was once more met by his sons, smiling down at them, before he told them that they were visiting the tournament healer once more. With them both holding onto him he headed in that direction, hoping to get Oulixes given over to them so that he could get healed, rest up, and recover from what had been one hell of a match.
